Yep.
The medical device tax alone is a job killer that adds 2.3% tax directly on a companies yearly sales, regardless if they turn a profit.

Lots of jobs will be lost and quality of life will get worse for many because of this one tax alone.

It was part of an agreement. The ACA sends more customers to the medical device industry & they help fund the program.

You people are dumber than sh*t.

How does sending more customers to an industry cost jobs? Brad. How?

Divided government requires bipartisan negotiation
By Eric Cantor, Published: October 8

Eric Cantor, a Republican from Virginia, is the House majority leader.

For three years, Congress and the White House have been building to this moment. Not the debt limit or Obamacare specifically, but this clarifying moment of Washington dysfunction. President Obama has led us here by continually thwarting the will of Congress and dismissing its role in our constitutional republic. This must end.

The president not only has refused to negotiate on issues of debt and spending but also has mocked the very idea of engaging with Congress. President Obama has repeatedly made clear that he feels it is beneath the office of the presidency to work in a bipartisan way with the legislative branch.

The Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse and the power to borrow. The president was given the power to veto measures, including those related to spending and borrowing. These separate powers created checks and balances but also forced the executive and legislative branches to work together.

As James Madison wrote in Federalist No. 48,“It is equally evident, that none of [the branches of the federal government] ought to possess, directly or indirectly, an overruling influence over the others, in the administration of their respective powers.”

In the 224 years of our nation’s history, one party has controlled the House, Senate and White House for 130 years. President Obama enjoyed two of those years, and it’s no surprise he wishes that were still the case. Yet while 28 of 44 U.S. presidents have found a way to lead in divided government, this president has not.

Yep, batshyt crazy is the verdict!!
Dweeb is reprising his racist Texas roots.
Wouldn't have anything to do with people being brought to America as slaves, sold off individually, families broken up by design, children separated from parents, husbands from wives, living in slavery for ?how many generations?? Slavery lasted in America for over 100 years, with continual family degradation by slaveholders.
They were property. And they're supposed to fit your idea of family values?? You're batshyt, alright.
So with this backround, how exactly are they supposed to even understand what a family is??
We destroyed the family cultures Africans had, and replaced it with brutality and no human dignity.
And asshats like you stand in judgement.
You forgot to mention one thing. It was Africans that captured and sold the slaves. However inconvenient this fact is to you, ignoring it won't make it go away.
Now, since it's common knowledge Africans captured and sold slaves, just who would those African slave traders want to get rid of? Do you think they would want to get rid of anyone that was a benefit to them? Obviously not. Among those captured from other villages that were of no use to the village, and those from the village that were useless, there would also be a sprinkling of those who were a political inconvenience to the village chief.
This is the reality. Use this knowledge to re-evaluate your ignorant conclusions.
Now, back to the issue. Please remind yourself we're not discussing the world as it existed 200 years ago. We're discussing the world as it exists today. Related to the "why", the general irresponsibility and unreliability of the so-called "African" American wasn't caused by African slave traders selling Africans to be transported here. Prior to the so-called "progressives" forcing tolerance for uncivilized behavior, the black community was not infected by this plague of irresponsible behavior most notably exhibited by so-called "African" American men abandoning their children as a cultural tradition.
I Africa, you don't see an entire culture of single mothers with children whose fathers abandoned them as a cultural tradition. The so-called "African" Americans would be the lowest of the low, and they would have the lowest status and respect in any African culture or village.
This is a fact, although it is a very inconvenient fact to your systematic lies that comprise the propaganda you've been indoctrinated with.

Spending more than you take in raises the debt, dipstick.

Congress approves the funding & knows at that time it will create more debt than the debt limit would permit. Then then run around "OMG OMG the debt ceiling OMG OMG"

URGENT WARNING: Pentagon Warns To Expect “Radical” Change In US Government Soon

A highly troubling “urgent bulletin” issued earlier today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) states that it has received information from the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) warning to expect a“radical change” in the government of the United States, possibly within the next fortnight, based on information they have received from “highly placed” sources within the Pentagon.
According to this MoFA bulletin, GRU intelligence assests were notified by their Pentagon counterparts this past week that President Barack Obama is preparing to invoke the powers given to him under 50 USC Chapter 13 to hold that various American States are now in a “state of insurrection” thus allowing him to invoke the National Emergencies Act under 50 USC § 1621 and invoke the highly controversial“continuity of government” plan for the United States allowing him, in essence, to rule with supreme powers.
Specifically, this bulletin says, Obama will invoke 50 USC § 212 that states:“ the President shall have declared by proclamation that the laws of the United States are opposed, and the execution thereof obstructed, by combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings”
The specific laws being opposed by these “combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings,” that Obama will outline in his reasoning’s for declaring a state of emergency, this bulletin continues, are the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), otherwise known as Obamacare...

You people re dumber than sh*t.
The issue that most people know about is the “employer mandate”— a loose term for a set of fines for businesses that don’t cover their workers. That’s a big issue for small businesses that might be right on the edge of 50 workers.

Starting in 2015, any employer with the equivalent of 50 or more full-time workers will have to pay a $2,000 annual fine for each worker — not counting the first 30 — if they don’t offer health coverage.

Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2013/09/how-oba...
The latest House bill, which the chamber backed on a 228-201 vote, would have delayed the law's individual mandate while prohibiting lawmakers, their staff and top administration officials from getting government subsidies for their health care.

The Senate voted 54-46 along party lines to reject it.

Amid the drama, President Obama said he's holding out hope that Congress will come together "in the 11th hour." http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/09/30/bu...

"The NDAA is opposed by many US States, this bulletin says, with California joining Alaska and Virginia this past week in passing a law making it illegal to be enforced in their territory, and with many other States, also, preparing to do the same.
"The specific portions of the NDAA law being opposed by these US States allows for the indefinite detention without charges or trial of all American citizens and allows for their assassination should Obama order it.
"The PPACA (Obamacare) law is, likewise, opposed by over half of the US States and has led to an American “shutdown” this past week that has closed 15% of their government, but has left fully 85% of it still open."

Here's the bottom line:
The Democrats demand government control of everything. For this, they need to eliminate any controls (the Constitution) on their government. This requires unlimited spending, which Congress is an obstacle to that.
The government is obviously too large.
85 percent of the Obama government isn't enough to satisfy the Democrats. It's all or nothing.

The Democrats intend to destroy this country if they can't get what they want... which is actually the elimination of the constitutional republic.

In short, the Democrats are about to declare war on the American people, and slaughter them wholesale.
This has always been the plan. The massive arms buildup in the DHS whould have made that obvious. Putting the Muslim Brotherhood in top level positions in the DHS whould have made this doubly obvious.

#1 The Obama administration is doing all it can to keep
Americans from even getting a glimpse of Mount Rushmore, but
Barack Obama’s chefs have been deemed “essential” and are still
preparing his meals .
#2 Small businesses cannot get loans, but the exclusive gyms that
are only for members of Congress have been deemed “essential”
andremain open .
#3 The National Mall has been closed to the public , but it will be
opened for a huge pro-immigration rally being held by Obama
supporters.
#4 Last chance cancer treatments for children with cancer have
been suspended, but the IRS continues to collect taxes from us.
#5 The NIH has stopped therapy dogs from visiting sick children,
but Obama and Congress are still getting paid.
#6 The USDA website has been shut down, but Michelle
Obama’s Let’s Move website is still operating.
#7 A runner has been fined $100 for jogging through Valley Forge
National Historical Park, but the military golf course that Obama
uses regularly is still open .
#8 The Obama administration has shut down the Grand Canyon,
but the new two billion dollar NSA spy center is still spying on all
of us .
#9 The federal government has forced an elderly couple out of
their home on Lake Mead during this shutdown, but the
operations of the Federal Reserve have not been affected at all.
#10 In South Carolina, the Obama administration is actually using
Park Service rangers to keep people away from a privately-owned
hotel.
#11 In Tennessee, the feds have totally shut down the Foothills
Parkway, a major thoroughfare that runs through Blount County.
At this point the feds are not even letting people visit the graves of
their dead relatives.
#12 The Obama administration has actually removed all of the
well pumps along a 184 mile trail that goes from Washington D.C.
to Pittsburgh just so that anyone that decides to use the trail will
not be able to get any water to drink.
#13 The Obama administration is actually attempting to
close 1,100 square miles of ocean off of the coast of Florida. It is
going to take a tremendous amount of time, money and energy to
keep fishing boats out of that area.
#14 According to one news report,“Gestapo tactics” were used
against one tour group made up mostly of senior citizens at
Yellowstone National Park…
Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to
showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.
Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus
witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and
heartbroken for her country.
Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found
themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown
went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which
included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and
the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park
hotel under armed guard.
The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she
said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited
English skills thought they were under arrest.
When finally allowed to leave, the bus was not allowed to halt at
all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, not even to stop at
private bathrooms that were open along the route.
#15 Of course one of the most disturbing abuses of power is how
the Obama administration is using barricades and guards to keep
military veterans away from open air memorials such as the
World War II Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial and the Iwo
Jima Memorial that are normally open to the public 24 hours a
day.
