In the synopsis of the book on Amazon, it starts this way:
"Georges Sada was one of Saddam's top generals and foremost military advisors. A truth-teller in a government that made the truth dangerous. A devout Christian in a Muslim country. And a man who would stand up for what was right―even at the risk of his own life."
But truth telling in a government that made the truth dangerous by someone who stood up for what was right even at the risk of his own life doesn't compute with liberals such as yourself.
You get crazier by the hour.

"""Georges Sada was one of Saddam's top generals and foremost military advisors. A truth-teller in a government that made the truth dangerous.""

You call Saddam a ruthless killer. Now how long would a 'truth teller' last in Iraq under Saddam??

About 15 minutes. Saddam had his sons in law killed for going against him. I'm sure this Sada was a loyal killer for Saddam right until the Americans deposed Saddam.

Then, Mr. Sada suddenly became a reliable informant.

Can you say 'self preservation'?? Because that's what motivates this ex Saddam General.

Are you really that stupid??

Your gullability is unbelievable.

Why didn't our satellites see the convoy of trucks going across the desert to Syria.

Your arguments are as lame and dumb as your Terri Schiavo ignorance.

Speaking of ignorance, have you learned the difference between a tax exemption for something like operational expenses and a subsidy yet?
You still haven't been able to show any subsidy to oil companies here. Subsidies to oil companies is an urban legend. They don't exist.
They also don't realize these tax breaks are not oil industry specific.

I absolutely agree. An ex-husband should never get to decide over an ex-wife's death when family members are more than eager to take on the responsibilities of care.
This guy had remarried and moved on long before sentencing his ex-wife to death by starvation.
I will never understand that for as long as I live.

You said it right, you weren't thinking at all.
You just come here to drop ridiculous charges and run off when they are challenged
Health Insurance in America grew dramatically during WWII, due to wage and price controls.
I believe 1943 was in that period. But you and the Cruzer are clueless about that, as you are about most American History. LOL
As soon as you learn how to do a basic internet search, you can educate yourself. Or did you come here to be educated??
----------
""Employer-sponsored health insurance plans dramatically expanded as a direct result of wage controls imposed by the federal government during World War II. The labor market was tight because of the increased demand for goods and decreased supply of workers during the war. Federally imposed wage and price controls prohibited manufacturers and other employers from raising wages enough to attract workers. When the War Labor Board declared that fringe benefits, such as sick leave and health insurance, did not count as wages for the purpose of wage controls, employers responded with significantly increased offers of fringe benefits, especially health care coverage, to attract workers.""
""President Harry S. Truman proposed a system of public health insurance in his November 19, 1945, address. He envisioned a national system that would be open to all Americans, but would remain optional. Participants would pay monthly fees into the plan, which would cover the cost of any and all medical expenses that arose in a time of need. The government would pay for the cost of services rendered by any doctor who chose to join the program. In addition, the insurance plan would give a cash balance to the policy holder to replace wages lost due to illness or injury. The proposal was quite popular with the public, but it was fiercely opposed by the Chamber of Commerce, the American Hospital Association, and the AMA, which denounced it as “socialism.""
----------
No, instead you will deny facts and ask others to 'prove' it to you, mostly because you know you're wrong.
Your claims of being a Democrat are just a lie, obvious to the most casual of observers. And a masters program for the destitute??
Shirley you jest.
Back to your 'I think Obama's a communist', that you ran away from like a frightened lemming. Please explain. Let's see just how ignorant you really are.
that is when FDR told workers that the Federal Government wasn't going to allow workers to get raises.

Stabilization Act of 1942 formally entitled "An Act to Amend the Emergency Price Control Act of 1942" is what gave FDR the authority to issue Executive Order 9250 Establishing the Office of Economic Stabilization with TITLE II Wage and Salary Stabilization Policy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stabilization_Ac...

One consequence of the wage stabilization under the Act was that employers, unable to provide higher salaries to attract or retain employees, began to offer insurance plans, including health care packages, as a fringe benefit, thereby beginning the practice of employer-sponsored health insurance.

""Editorial: Scott's campaign to sabotage the Affordable Care Act"
""Gov. Rick Scott says he sides with Florida's families, yet he is obstructing their access to health care. Citing groundless privacy concerns, the governor is trying to block county health departments from assisting people in signing up for health insurance on the state's online marketplace that will open in a few weeks. It's one thing to voice philosophical objections to federal law. It's indefensible to stand in the doorway and deny Floridians access to health care.
The Florida Department of Health this week told the state's 60 local health department directors that local public health offices, where the uninsured often go for medical services or for help getting them, cannot have navigators on the premises. Under the Affordable Care Act, navigators are the helper-bees who will help people sort through their health insurance options starting Oct. 1, including how much they can expect in a federal subsidy, if any, and how to enroll online. But it isn't clear how much practical impact the state's edict will have. Some Florida counties, including Pinellas, have received federal grants to employ navigators and county health offices often operate from county-owned, not state-owned, buildings. Pinellas officials smartly maneuvered Thursday to make sure the navigators are still hired and will have work space.""

The Reugnants are throwing every obstacle in the way, yet you stupidly claim the 'navigators' are at fault.
When the State of Florida disallows the navigators from doing their jobs, it damages the effect of the ACA. Of course, that's entirely their point.
Are you in an Iron Lung?? You're obviously too stupid to breathe on your own.
LMAO! You're too damn funny, pissing in the wind all by yourself.

"For thousands of Floridians who figure they'll need help to sign up for health insurance after the new federal exchange opens Tuesday, that help might not be entirely ready in time for the Oct. 1 kickoff.

Of the expected 150 or so "navigators" who'll be assigned across the state to help people purchase insurance, only 57 had applied for their required state licenses and just 11 were approved as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Financial Services.

Though Florida's Republican elected officials have been harsh critics of Obamacare, the federal government — not state officials — appears responsible for the holdup. The online federal-training program that navigators must complete has crashed frequently, according to navigator coordinators at two agencies, the University of South Florida and the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County."

I hope you're wearing goggles.

"Dozens" out of hundreds. I wonder if that is even correct. I can think of a handful of priest who have been sent to prison: Daniel McCormack, of Chicago, who was sentenced to five years in prison for abusing five boys; Francis Engels, of Wisconsin, who was sentenced to 10 years on two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child; Sleaze ball, Monsignor William Lynn, who was sentenced to "three to six years" for covering up child sex abuse by priests in Philadelphia and Fr. Wayland Y. Brown who served five years for performing sexual acts on a teenage boy and his younger brother in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Others have been convicted but had their sentences overturned. But that is all I know of..must be more. It would be an interesting study.

Steven Kiesle, the priest who tied up and molested two boys was given three years probation and Monsignor Dale Fushek who had been charged with 10 criminal misdemeanor counts related to alleged sexual contact with teens and young adults paid a $250 fine, in addition to being sentenced to 364 days of probation. Whoopie!!!

All the church ever did was fail to bring cases to the attention of authorities, send the priests for counseling and reassign them. That, and spend millions upon millions to pay off the victims.
