The fact remains the boy president, nobama, could re open the store if he wanted to, just like he opened up his golf course. After all the boy president, nobama is all powerful, he can do as he pleases. His decisions are always the right ones. You know like supplying a couple thousand guns to the Mexican drug cartels, weapons used to kill American's. He can order the stand down in Benghazi, the refusal to protect American's that led to more American deaths. That his spend, spend agenda has allowed him to run up more debt than all former presidents combined. Like coming up nobamakare, a program that forces American's to buy a product, health care insurance they may not want or putting a tax on Grannies wheel chair? He is responsible for the unemployment rate that is higher than when he took office. He is responsible for millions more American's being on food stamps. He can give unions a waiver in participating in nobamakare but he will not give individuals the same option. He is responsible for the fact that American household incomes are down. He is responsible for the fact that millions of fewer American's are paying federal income tax. He promised one of the first things he would do would be to close Gitmo, Gitmo is still open the president lied.
In your mind the boy presidents record is sterling when in fact it is a disaster.
"real dumb", why are you so dumb?
So, its Obama's fault because he is not restoring the funding the Republicans blocked.

The veterans had gathered at the Vietnam Memorial Plaza to protest the 12th anniversary of the war in Afghanistan by reading out the names of deceased US soldiers.

One video shows a man speaking about how veterans are committing suicide.“This is a sign of betrayal….it’s important you know that your government committed immense atrocities during the Vietnam war, we did it every day,” he states.

After the Park Service rejected the group’s application to hold a protest at the site, an all night vigil was planned. The group argued that its first amendment rights superseded the 10pm curfew.

Photographs show veterans being handcuffed and loaded into paddy wagons.

A live stream video recording of the event shows demonstrators chanting,“whose side are you on?” before police, after several verbal warnings, move in to make the arrests.

The government “shutdown” is a hoax. It is pure theater designed to make life as miserable as possible for Americans while the government keeps collecting taxes, racking up debt expenditures, running foreign wars and doing all the unconstitutional things government does these days. It is now becoming obvious to nearly all Americans that the Obama administration is running a pernicious, punitive, selective “shutdown” that’s designed to hold the American people hostage until Obama gets his way. His “ransom demand” is total capitulation to his demands for endless spending, the total takeover of medicine by Obamacare, and the centralization of power in the hands of the few.

Image: Government shut down.

The Obama administration ran a similar gambit a few months back when it started releasing thousands of felony criminals from U.S. prisons, claiming it was forced to do so because of sequestration budget cuts.

Today, the Obama administration has barricaded World War II memorials, shut down access to private businesses, closed parts of the OCEAN, closed tourist viewing areas of famous landmarks and gone out of its way to attempt to inflict suffering and inconvenience upon the People of America. It has punitively blocked access to a private hotel and even kicked people off private lands as part of the government’s shutdown theater.

Democrat Voters Confused:“I Didn’t Realize I Would Be The One Who Was Going to Pay For It Personally”

Back in 2008, when then-candidate Obama promised Joe the Plumber and the rest of America that he intended to spread the wealth around, most democrat and liberal voters embraced the notion of wealth redistribution under the guise of equality. A universal health care plan, that would be free for all Americans, was the promise from the candidate of hope and change.

Image: Obama Supporters.

Tens of millions of Americans jumped on the bandwagon waving their flags, fainting at his appearances, and fawning over his every word.

None ever thought about where the money would come from for all this new found wealth he promised to bestow upon them.

But those who understand that socialism, communism and governance by the collective are failed experiments, warned where that money would come from. It would be taken by force from the toils of the middle class, and it’d impoverish them in the process.

Now the myrmidons who once vehemently supported the policies of President Barack Obama without question are coming to the realization that when Obama spoke about spreading the wealth he actually meant their wealth too!

Cindy Vinson is one such supporter. This month, like many Americans who have health insurance through their employer or private insurers, Vinson got an unwanted awakening to the reality of government sponsored wealth confiscation and redistribution:

Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.

Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law.

Vinson, of San Jose, will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual policy, while Waschura, of Portola Valley, will cough up almost $10,000 more for insurance for his family of four.

“I was laughing at Boehner — until the mail came today,” Waschura said, referring to House Speaker John Boehner, who is leading the Republican charge to defund Obamacare.

“I really don’t like the Republican tactics, but at least now I can understand why they are so pissed about this. When you take $10,000 out of my family’s pocket each year, that’s otherwise disposable income or retirement savings that will not be going into our local economy.”

Both Vinson and Waschura have adjusted gross incomes greater than four times the federal poverty level — the cutoff for a tax credit. And while both said they anticipated their rates would go up, they didn’t realize they would rise so much.

“Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said.“I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”

Prior the passage of Obamacare Congressional switchboards lit up with 99 out of 100 Americans urging their representatives to throw the legislation out.

They didn’t listen. They passed the bill without even reading it. In fact, they didn’t even make it public until a few hours before the vote and by then it was too late.

Group plans to arrest members of Congress on Friday

October 7, 2013

Twitter has suspended the account belonging to ‘Truckers for the Constitution’, a group that has received national media attention over its plan to roadblock traffic in DC and arrest members of Congress later this week.

Image: Wikimedia Commons.

Although the event, scheduled for Friday, has been public for around a week, it went viral this morning after being covered in a lengthy piece by U.S. News & World Report which was also linked on the Drudge Report.

“We are not going to ask for impeachment,” the group’s organizer Earl Conlon said.“We are coming whether they like it or not. We’re not asking for impeachment, we’re asking for the arrest of everyone in government who has violated their oath of office.”

The group has promised to allow emergency vehicles and anyone who expresses support to bypass the convoy, but says that it will set up a three lane roadblock if police attempt to interfere with the group’s demands. The organization promises to be peaceful and thinks it possible to achieve the arrest of one or two Congress members, a spectacle that will represent,“a shot across the bow that will ripple across all branches of government.”

The group’s main gripe is the Obama administration’s policy of using taxpayer dollars to fund Al-Qaeda-linked rebels in Syria.

Twitter reacted to the news by almost immediately terminating the group’s account.

Attempting to access the organization’s page brings up the following message:

The goals of the House of Repeals are to put the civility back into civilization, to return our country to the rule of law and to enforce the rights of the sovereign people of the United States; through the most stringent enforcement possible of the Bill of Rights.
To accomplish this our primary method will be bills or constitutional amendments of repeal, presented to the voters of the several states, starting with California, that will do four things:Â

Clarify the present law (the Constitution of the United States and/or the state in question) in such breadth and sweeping detail; in both plain English and Legalese; that not only may regular people understand it, but lawyers may understand it too.Â
Define the important words and ideas so that interpretation is unnecessary and misunderstanding is not possible.Â
Repeal the unconstitutional or immoral statutes and regulations that violate the Constitutions or the rights of sovereign individuals.Â
Punish the people guilty of violating the Constitutions of the United States and/or the state in question and the rights of sovereign individuals. This will be done by putting teeth into the repeal law or amendment that:Â
define voting; as a state legislator or a member of a lesser legislative body; for a bill that reinstates or replaces a repealed statute or regulation in whole or in part, in intent or effect, or commits a new act that violates the prohibitions on state action; as a felony with a heavy fine and prison term.Â
define signing such a bill with the intent to enforce it as though it were a law by any Governor or lesser executive officer (mayors, etc.) as a felony with a heavy fine and prison term..Â
define enforcement of the old statutes; or new ones for the same or similar purposes; as a felony with a heavy fine and prison term. This includes judges, police and other bureaucrats.Â

Unconstitutional statutes are not laws.

Kids on the hill.... who are currently acting like wanker wanna be marxists Dic-taters....

Lesson one: Learn what "CIVILITY" means so the nation can move from DYSFUNCTIONAL to at least having Some appearance of being somewhat Functional again.

We understand why this American idealogy might take some time to processing for the little commie- marxist megalomaniacs, so the nation waits patiently while they try and dislodge their egomaniacal heads from their own butts full o partisan crappola.

A U.S. debt default would cause stocks to crash, would cause bonds to crash, would cause interest rates to soar wildly out of control, would cause a massive credit crunch, and would cause a derivatives panic that would be absolutely unprecedented. And that would just be for starters. But don’t just take my word for it. These are the things that top financial experts all over the planet are saying will happen if there is an extended U.S. debt default.
Because they are so close together, the “government shutdown” and the “debt ceiling deadline” are being confused by many Americans.
As I wrote about the other day, the “partial government shutdown” that we are experiencing right now is pretty much a non-event. Yeah, some national parks are shut down and some federal workers will have their checks delayed, but it is not the end of the world. In fact, only about 17 percent of the federal government is actually shut down at the moment. This “shutdown” could continue for many more weeks and it would not affect the global economy too much.
On the other hand, if the debt ceiling deadline (approximately October 17th) passes without an agreement that would be extremely dangerous.
And if the U.S. government is eventually forced to start delaying interest payments on U.S. debt (which could potentially happen as soon as November), that would be absolutely catastrophic.
Once again, just don’t take my word for it. The following are 12 very ominous warnings about what a U.S. debt default would mean for the global economy…
#1 Gerald Epstein, a professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst:“If the US does default, that will make the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy look like a cakewalk”
#2 Tim Bitsberger, a former Treasury official under President George W. Bush:“If we miss an interest payment, that would blow Lehman out of the water”
#3 Peter Tchir, founder of New York-based TF Market Advisors:“Once the system starts to break down related to settlement and payments, then liquidity disappears, as we saw after Lehman”
#4 Bill Isaac, chairman of Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bancorp:“We can’t even imagine all the things that might happen, just like Henry Paulson couldn’t imagine all the bad things that might happen if he let Lehman go down”
#5 Jim Grant, founder of Grant’s Interest Rate Observer:“Financial markets are all confidence-based. If that confidence is shaken, you have disaster.”
#6 Richard Bove, VP of research at Rafferty Capital Markets:“If they seriously default on the debt, what we’re really talking about is a depression”
#7 Chinese vice finance minister Zhu Guangyao:“The U.S. is clearly aware of China’s concerns about the financial stalemate [in Washington] and China’s request for the US to ensure the safety of Chinese investments.”
#8 The U.S. Treasury Department:“A default would be unprecedented and has the potential to be catastrophic: credit markets could freeze, the value of the dollar could plummet, U.S. interest rates could skyrocket, the negative spillovers could reverberate around the world, and there might be a financial crisis and recession that could echo the events of 2008 or worse”
#9 Goldman Sachs:“We estimate that the fiscal pull-back would amount to 9pc of GDP. If this were allowed to occur, it could lead to a rapid downturn in economic activity if not reversed quickly”
#10 Simon Johnson, former chief economist for the IMF:“It would be insane to default, but it’s no longer a zero-percent probability”
#11 Warren Buffett about the potential of a debt default:“It should be like nuclear bombs, basically too horrible to use”
#12 Bloomberg:“Anyone who remembers the collapse of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. little more than five years ago knows what a global financial disaster is. A U.S. government default, just weeks away if Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling as it now threatens to do, will be an economic calamity like none the world has ever seen.”

A drop of oil in a bath tub full of water.

NEW ORLEANS (AP)— For weeks after BP's massive 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, people across the globe were captivated by a live video feed from underwater cameras that showed the company's blown-out well belching plumes of black crude into the water.

On Monday, more than three years later, clips from the spill cam were projected on a screen in a New Orleans courtroom while lawyers for BP and the federal government quarreled over how much oil gushed out of BP's Macondo well during the 87-day crisis. The images helped some of the scientists calculate how much oil polluted the Gulf.

Determining how much oil spilled is a multibillion-dollar question for U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier, who is presiding over the trial involving the deadly Deepwater Horizon rig explosion and the nation's worst offshore oil spill. The judge ultimately could decide how much more money BP owes for its role in the disaster.

Government experts estimate 4.2 million barrels, or 176 million gallons, spilled into the Gulf. BP has urged Barbier to use an estimate of 2.45 million barrels, or nearly 103 million gallons, in calculating any Clean Water Act penalties. Both sides agree that 810,000 barrels, or 34 million gallons, escaped the well but were captured before the crude could pollute the Gulf.

Under the Clean Water Act, a polluter can be forced to pay a maximum of either $1,100 or $4,300 per barrel of spilled oil. The higher maximum applies if the company is found grossly negligent, as the government argues BP should be. But penalties can be assessed at amounts lower than those caps.

Using the government's figures, a maximum penalty if the company is found grossly negligent could total $18 billion. Using the company's figures, that maximum penalty would be around $10.5 billion.

Megyn Kelly To Cruz:'What's It Like To Be The Most Hated Man In America?'

"All right, so now answer the question," Kelly said.

"Look, I think there have been more than a few Democrats who are throwing rocks my direction and to quote the Bard,'Methinks she doth protest too much,'" Cruz said.

"They are throwing every insult they can but the reality is most Americans don't care about politicians bickering," he continued. "They're looking for people to solve the problems. What we need to do right now is what the House of Represenatives are doing. The House of Representatives is passing bills to fund vital priorities of government and unfortunately President Obama and the Senate Democrats are refusing to negotiate. They're refusing to pass bills."

In fact, the Senate did pass a continuing resolution to fund the government but that bill did not undermine the Affordable Care Act, a sticking point for Cruz and other tea partiers. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) insists that the Senate bill could not pass the lower chamber, despite media reports to the contrary.

'We'll act like we're funding everything(so we can lie to the voters and tell them we're doing SOMETHING!) if you give us everything we want which we know you'll never do!'

sorry GOP, you lost the election. you get nothing. figure out how to win an election, quit your crying, and let the government get back to doing what it does just fine without any help from you.
