Thanks teabaggers! Hillary will be the next President!
The Republicans won back the House, and the Senate only has a slim Democratic majority. It's time to implement the Constitutional checks and balances of power as is our system of government.

No law belongs to one party. Compromise is absolutely necessary when any law affects all Americans on both sides.

Your party will not talk, not negotiate, not compromise one inch or one iota. They are, instead, playing power games and manipulating the system and the country in the process.

It's not about them. It's about all of us. They are determined to make it about them. It's why we're where we are now.

France, England, and Canada have free healthcare. The United States is just now catching up. You get a tax credit for signing up for Obamacare. Republicans are scared the American people will embrace it with open arms.
There are long waiting lists in France, England and Canada to see a doctor and receive care.

Sometimes the wait is so long, it's too late.

Welcome to ObamaCare in the Dumb and Dumber United States of America.

It took more effort and manpower to put rails around the entire WWII monument area, wrap yellow tape around the rails and put down sandbags with 7 guards to keep veterans and citizens from seeing this open-aired monument that's open 24/7 right off a public sidewalk and that anyone can visit any time of the day or night.

It's an absurd and childish political tantrum and makes Obama and Reid look stupid.

Wide awake. Too much going on all at once. The Obama administration has lost its ability to govern and the nation is in total chaos because of it. And we're still in waiting mode on the appraisal. That's stressful enough. And I'm probably talking to myself this late on top of it.

Trivial actions that hurt the most people are typical of low-class trash like Obama...particularly closing National Parks that are rarely used by his voters...

there is no chaos...nobody cares about the shutdown...

As for your appraisal, it's to your benefit to find out whether or not the house is worth what you're paying, so don't stress.

Thought I was the last man standing tonight. Was just about to go stare at the TV.

But thanks.

We can only hope this system and the Constitution will withstand the attempted power grab by Obama and Reid. It really is a showdown between checks and balances versus a one-party monopoly.

You have to admire Republicans for proving we haven't become the latter yet.

But it's really getting late. Goodnight Galt.

The more hysterical Obama and Reid get, the more respect Republicans get for taking a "grown up" stand. ObamaCare is the chaos I was referring to. And the dumb and dumber among us who voted for it.

You're right about the appraisal. The comps were sent today. Should know tomorrow. Life-changing decisions are just a bit stressful.

We'll have more to discuss tomorrow about Obama and the hysterics, pretty sure.

You sure live in an alternative universe, to even approach believing this is good for Republicans is laughable to say the least.
We will see how much RESPECT the republicans get in the mid terms, a dying demographic and each year their support numbers drop. Two elections on and they will never be seen again in your lifetime. Try and find anyone under 30 who shares your ideas, not even in the middle of the bible belt. It's a lost cause!

We can't afford to fund Obamacare, it will ruin the economy.
So, let's shut down the government to stop it....and ruin the economy!

" But there has never been in a single Congress -- or, more precisely, in a single House of the Congress -- a more lethal combination of political ambition, political stupidity, and political vainglory than exists in this one, which has arranged to shut down the federal government because it disapproves of a law passed by a previous Congress, signed by the president, and upheld by the Supreme Court, a law that does nothing more than extend the possibility of health insurance to the millions of Americans who do not presently have it, a law based on a proposal from a conservative think-tank and taken out on the test track in Massachusetts by a Republican governor who also happens to have been the party's 2012 nominee for president of the United States. That is why the government of the United States is, in large measure, closed this morning."

Republicans in Congress - "We have elected an ungovernable collection of snake-handlers, Bible-bangers, ignorami, bagmen and outright frauds, a collection so ungovernable that it insists the nation be ungovernable, too. We have elected people to govern us who do not believe in government."

What is now considered full time? 32 or 30. I don't remember. 32 I think. If they are dropping them from 32 to 29 then that is full time to part time.

""S. 2204 (112th): Repeal Big Oil Tax Subsidies Act"
Now how could they write a Bill to repeal something that doesn't exist??
Of course, the Repugnants shot the bill down. They get most of their money from oil companies.
"TITLE II--REPEAL OF OIL AND GAS SUBSIDIES
Subtitle A--Close Big Oil Tax Loopholes
Here's the Bill, nitwit. Have one of your dead relatives read it to you.
