You were warned!!!!

Lexington, Kentucky (CNN)-- Obamacare is expected to increase patient demand for medical services. Combine that with a worsening shortage of doctors, and next year you may have to wait a little longer to get a doctor's appointment. And the crowded emergency room may become even more so.

There are approximately 48 million uninsured people in the United States. When the mandatory insurance rules of Obamacare kick in next year, and a couple dozen states expand who is eligible for Medicaid, you can bet more people are going to want to use their health benefits.

In fact, so many people were anxious to get access to health insurance -- many for the first time -- when the insurance marketplaces opened Tuesday, more than a dozen of the websites experienced technical glitches.

Dr. Ryan A. Stanton is worried that this coming flood of newly insured patients may crash the U.S. health care system as well. Stanton works at the emergency room at the busy Georgetown Community Hospital right outside of Lexington, Kentucky.

While he sees trauma cases often, a good number of the patients he sees aren't actually emergencies. They're the uninsured who can't afford to pay for a regular doctor's visit -- so they use the emergency room instead.

"We now see people without health insurance coming in for their regular checkup here," Stanton said. "We can't turn anyone away like a doctor's office could.... I worry though with (Obamacare) this will significantly increase patient volume."

The Medicaid welfare program expansion would be paid for by the federal government for a temporary period of time, after which the state would be 100 percent responsible for covering 100 percent of the expansion, right?
So, that money was going to be lost, anyway.

WWII Veterans Group: Park Service 'Bent Over Backwards' For Us

Jeff Miller, the co-founder of the Honor Flight Network, applauded the National Park Service on Wednesday for accomodating veterans hoping to visit the World War II Memorial, which had been closed as a result of the government shutdown.

“The Park Service they have been so compassionate, they have done everything they could,” Miller said, as quoted by the Washington Post. He added that the service “bent over backwards” to ensure that veterans were not dealt any additional inconveniences.

On Tuesday, veterans affiliated with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Honor Flight removed barriers at the Washington, D.C. memorial with the assistance of serveral congressmen. More veterans groups descended upon the memorial on Wednesday before the National Park Service announced that the veterans would be granted access to the open-air site.

Tea party lawmakers like Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX) joined the veterans at the memorial on Wednesday, something that Miller suggested was unnecessary.

“We don’t need representatives, senators anybody here,” Miller told the Post. "We will be allowed to move the gate if there’s no one here and our veterans [can] go in.”

Republicans have tried to score political points off the ordeal. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said Tuesday that the government had deployed "goons" to deny veterans access, while Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) issued a statement Wednesday blaming the Obama administration for the closure.

and we all know Obama personally made sure the Park Service got it right.

"I've been trying to figure this out," says one House Republican of the current standoff over funding the government. "It seems to me that Boehner could do whatever he wants with Democrats on the floor and still get about 180 or 190 of us. So why doesn't he do that?"

The lawmaker was referring to the fact that a large majority of the House's 232 Republicans, plus a large majority of its 200 Democrats, would likely support a "clean" continuing resolution to fund the government but not defund, delay, or limit Obamacare. If House Speaker John Boehner were to bring such a bill to the floor, it would probably pass with a majority of Republican as well as Democratic votes. But Boehner doesn't do it.

If the Speaker did, he would raise the ire of the group of House GOP conservatives most committed to continuing the defund battle. There are various estimates of how many there are in that group -- probably about 30 core members, but perhaps 30, or even as many as 50, others who are sympathetic to the core position. Even so, a high estimate is about 80, meaning that even in the worst case scenario for a clean continuing resolution, Boehner would still have around 150 Republican votes to end the impasse. Given Democratic support, that would be more than enough.

But he doesn't do it. "I think the issue is, he's scared that those 30 people could somehow force a speaker's election," says the House Republican. "I don't know exactly, but clearly he thinks his speakership is a stake if he screws them."

“Conservative” Bush Spends More than “Liberal” Presidents Clinton, Carter
The Bush administration’s newly released budget projections reveal an anticipated budget deficit of $450 billion for the current fiscal year, up another $151 billion since February. Supporters and critics of the administration are tripping over themselves to blame the deficit on tax cuts, the war, and a slow economy. But the fact is we have mounting deficits because George W. Bush is the most gratuitous big spender to occupy the White House since Jimmy Carter. One could say that he has become the “Mother of All Big Spenders.”
The new estimates show that, under Bush, total outlays will have risen $408 billion in just three years to $2.272 trillion: an enormous increase in federal spending of 22 percent. Administration officials privately admit that spending is too high. Yet they argue that deficits are appropriate in times of war and recession. So, is it true that the war on terrorism has resulted in an increase in defense spending? Yes. And, is it also true that a slow economy has meant a decreased stream of tax revenues to pay for government? Yes again.
But the real truth is that national defense is far from being responsible for all of the spending increases. According to the new numbers, defense spending will have risen by about 34 percent since Bush came into office. But, at the same time, non-defense discretionary spending will have skyrocketed by almost 28 percent. Government agencies that Republicans were calling to be abolished less than 10 years ago, such as education and labor, have enjoyed jaw-dropping spending increases under Bush of 70 percent and 65 percent respectively.
Now, most rational people would cut back on their spending if they knew their income was going to be reduced in the near future. Any smart company would look to cut costs should the business climate take a turn for the worse. But the administration has been free spending into the face of a recessionary economy from day one without making any serious attempt to reduce costs.

Where does Obama's $6 trillion fit in with his wasteful stimulus that did nothing to help the economy and Obamacare which came before jobs and the economy and constricting jobs and the economy after it was passed?

Did Carter or Clinton have a 9/11 to contend with? Or two wars to contend with and supported by Democrats?

You really need to get some perspective ASAP.

I've been saying since the very first day ObamaKare was put on the Congress agenda that the increase in demand for health care benefits would cause the entire health care system to degrade for everyone.
Now, 4 years later, it looks like CNN has figured out what should have been obvious from day one and the very first descriptions of ObamaKare:

Demand could crash health care system
CNN- Obamacare is expected to increase patient demand for medical services. Combine that with a worsening shortage of doctors, and next year you may have to wait a little longer to get a doctor's appointment.

The entirety of ObamaKare was accurately categorized as a Marxist program that would degrade the entire health care system in the United States when it was originally proposed.
Now, it's actually degrading health care, causing the economy to stagnate, and taking health insurance away from people who had it before ObamaKare, and finally the obvious predictions from 4 years ago are being acknowledged.

There are lots of laws that say what he can & can not do, what we have to do or face the consequences.
Unless we pass a law that says hospitals medical people can refuse to treat those who cannot pay in advance, then we need a mandate. If we want to eliminate pre-existying conditions, we need a mandate.
Until then, get insurance or pay the fine. Mooching off the system should not be an option.
Its not a new concept. Deal with it.
