This whole healthcare thing is not to give people free healthcare. It's to make healthcare affordable! Do you understand that? Congress knows that, and they too would have to help people to afford healthcare, and they know that too. What they want is that Obama care doesn't have his name stamped on it. They want to take the reins from out under the president so they can later take credit for giving it back to the people; only it won't be called "Obama care" anymore. Republicans want a Republican to win the next election so it's crucial for them to bash Obama and make him look as bad as they can. Also, how despicable of Congress to get paid thousands of dollars each week while more then 80,000 government workers will not have a paycheck. They go on national TV boasting they'll give there's to charity and/or that the government workers will be reciprocated for their lost paychecks. Yeah right. All the Republicans are proving to me is how greedy and self serving they really are. They care nothing for the average working Americans and obviously even less for the poor and working poor. Politicians receive some of the best healthcare in the world, while they would blindly and gladly deny anyone else having it. Again, I'm talking about affordable healthcare, not freebies to the masses, but there will always be a segment of our society that cannot afford it and it has been that way since insurance first existed. Greed, indifference and power, are always at the center of these arguments and disagreements and it can hurt so many.

It's time to let them own it. They're relishing the shutdown far too much. And the next two elections are the only hope we have for the future. Let Obamacare decide both.
It will have to get real bad for this nonsense to end. Better to bite the bullet and get it over with and focus on the debt ceiling coming up soon. A fight they can easily win if the Democrats are put on the defensive again about Obamacare with no one to blame anymore.

"This whole healthcare thing is not to give people free healthcare. It's to make healthcare affordable!"

Affordable for whom? Not me, my costs have gone up, my deductibles have gone up, and my copays have gone up. For many people, their jobs have been reduced from full-time to part-time, resulting in their health care benefits being cut. Of course, those who are unemployed will have their premiums paid by the government-just like they are now, and those that are illegal will use and abuse the system and not pay a dime.

"Congress knows that, and they too would have to help people to afford healthcare, and they know that too."

Are they going to play by the same rules that everyone else has to play by? Or are they getting exceptions that should be given to those that truly need financial help?

The rest of your post is a bunch of BS and isn't worth addressing.

Time to paint ourselves as the Indians of 1773 and run down to the voting booths this 2014 and cast out the Tea. Out unto the waters of political oblivion. Republicans of sound mind and integrity will help us in that endeavor.
Senator Susan Collins {R Traditionalist} of Main,“finds it baffling that it’s a small minority of our caucus, that is holding up going to conference, when our party for years, has argued that we need to have a budget. Without a House conference we can’t possibly complete action on it.”
Senator Marco Rubio {R Tea Party} of Florida argues that we should continue to support the ideology that ONE Senator can have the power to hold the USA Hostage and Ransom it off to what that Senator desires.
Democrats counter with the need of raising the debt ceiling to cover the cost of the Congresses’ expenditures. Republicans inability to produce a bill for a budget, mandates this process of hand to mouth budgeting scenarios. Ideologies of the Tea Party pirates lurking in the shadows .“Our Way Or The Highway reverberating through our Congressional Sacred Hallways.

OH MY GOD!!!

It will be worst than the sequester!!!

The sequester was the end of the world, said the Liberals!!!

The government shutdown is the end of the galaxy!!!

Just as Democrats predicted after the sequester, "there will be people begging for food in the streets"!!!

I see them begging alright, for drugs no for food stamps, LOL !!!

Who employs Congress? Who decides their pay & benefits?

So why haven't Republicans put up a bill canceling their health insurance funding?

If Congress reeving health benefits is so evil, why haven't Republicans done it already - years ago.

Low monthly premiums give the illusion of saving money.
1) Full-time workers are being reduced to part-time workers.
2) Because they are part-time, they loose their medical insurance
3) They are being forced to buy insurance
4) They are paying higher copays and deductibles
There are a lot of people who are going to unpleasantly surprised when the sh!t hits the fan.
If they already have medical insurance, why would they decide now to change to PT workers? Why wouldn't they have done it already.

If the policies in the exchanges are not as good a deal as they have now, they don't need to change.

You wish to be on the winning side so bad, lying just became a part of you, as is your parties primary platform. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but, the sun will still come out tomorrow &, the sky is still blue. Those are facts, indisputable, undeniable, just facts. Just like Barack Hussein Obama is still the president of the United States of America &, he's black, sorry!
When you dupes acknowledge the obvious conclusion that Frank Marshal Davis is Obama's biological father. Look at the photos. It's obvious.
In case you're completely ignorant, the communist movement is, and has always been world-wide. They plan for the future. They plan to be here fighting to eliminate capitalism 50 years from now, and farther into the future. They have intentions that span as much time as it takes to eliminate capitalism from the Earth.
The original people who walked across the land bridge connecting Asia and North America 20,000 years ago discovered America.
Jesus was a jew. It has been speculated he could have had a Roman father. I don't know of anyone on Earth so ignorant to have speculated Jesus was black. But, that's Jesus the human. Jesus the ideology has no race. You need to at least make an effort to stop thinking in terms of race.
You show obvious signs of what psychiatrists call "projection". It is you who wishes to be on the winning side so bad, lying just becomes part of you. You do not even have a concept of any other motivation. The truth is, I want only to be on the just side, win or lose. You gobble up every lie just because you think winning is more important than being honest, truthful, and just.
To prove this point, should we go over the recent US history of the previous century and identify the system of lies the Democrats invented and successfully duped the entire country with? How about you explain why we get a constant stream of obvious lies from the White House since Obama took office. Then, explain to us why you mindlessly regurgitate them.
Why did Obama lie for two weeks covering up the Al Qaeda attack on the US in Benghazi?
Why is Obama lying right now about the total debt?
Why does Obama lie about being at Columbia?
Why does Obama lie about being born in Hawaii?
Why does the White House put an obviously fraudulent "birth certificate" on the website? Why don't they just submit that document as evidence and be done with the issue?

Why do you constantly regurgitate the obvious lies from Obama and the Democrats?
