Hours before the government is scheduled to run out of money and shut down, a poll released Monday morning found that more Americans will blame congressional Republicans than President Barack Obama for such a scenario.
According to the latest CNN/ORC International poll, a plurality of 46 percent said they would blame Republicans on Capitol Hill for a government shutdown while 36 percent said they would hold Obama responsible. Thirteen percent said they would blame both sides.
As some Republicans in Congress have pushed hard to defund the Affordable Care Act, the risk of a government shutdown has risen sharply. House Republicans passed a spending measure on Sunday that delays the health care law for one year.
A CNN/ORC poll released earlier this month also found that congressional Republicans would bear more of the fallout from a government shutdown than Obama.
more reality that will garner no reply. has even one republican addressed the fact that most Americans will blame them for the shutdown? oh wait, i'm wrong, someone has....

Employers are now distributing information about Obamacare and the "exhanges".
The document states employer converage is considered "affordable" if the cost of "single" coverage is not more than 9.5% of annual household income.
What a frikkin joke!
Obamacare is a joke!

I checked the calculation for a young adult making 40K per year and Obama/Democrats expect them to pay one quarter of their net income and be forced onto Obamacare.
This is a colossal joke!!!!!

The middle class gets screwed by Democrats yet again!

And yet the candidate who promised to repeal this "very unpopular" law was defeated and the one who actually enacted it won. Go figure! Also Republicans who were opposed to the ACA lost seats in both houses of congress.

Of course you're not going to argue the point because you have no argument.
You're an idiot!

The Disarray, Dysfunction, and Legislative Blundering of the Congressional GOP
To state the obvious, Republicans are facing a collective action problem. Successive rounds of budget brinkmanship are redounding to the benefit of a small number of Republican lawmakers, who are building their profile and fundraising on the strength of their theatrics. At the same time, successive rounds of budget brinkmanship risk undermining the political prospects of Republican candidates in competitive districts, and they might undermine the GOP brand more broadly.

Republicans afraid of Blue Cross co pay cards?
That wicked OBAMACARE!
Provided by BLUE CROSS.
That's a great outfit.
According to Republicans:
Blue Cross is communist?
Try to take away 50 million co pay cards with nothing to replace them?
Republicans: no plan!
Just crybaby fits.
OBAMACARE! IT'S EVERYWHERE! TOMORROW!

More proof that we're closer to reaching that society shown in the movie, Idiocracy. The low informed voting public is tipping towards more takers than givers.
The candidate who promised to repeal the next huge government boondoggle also predicted that Russia would do exactly what it just did to "The One."

GOP Activists vs.Donorists: Pick Your Poison
....the push to defund, or merely delay the implementation of Obamacare is maybe the most moronic and counterproductive gambit yet devised by the fire-breathing right flank of the congressional GOP.
Heres the bad-to-worse takeaway: the K-Street Republicans may be about the cynical business of lining the pockets of their bespoke suits. But the true believers are no more capable of leading the party out of the political wilderness in which it found itself last November.

The clueless will be initiated by fire when they are dumped into an exchange after employers keep cutting healthcare as a benefit.
The National Journal not generally known as part of the vast right-wing conspiracy found that, even after accounting for subsidies, most Americans will pay more in premiums for ObamaCare plans than they do for their employee plans today.
And out-of-pocket costs deductibles, copayments, co-insurance are all likely to be higher for exchange-based plans.
A study by Avalere Health found that ObamaCares affordable bronze plans had an average deductible of $5,150, more than four times higher than the average deductible in employer-sponsored coverage this year.
By one estimate, all the ADDED COSTS for the average family of four over the next eight years add up to an extra $7,450 due to ObamaCare.
There will be FEWER CHOICES:
Those shopping on the exchange are apt to find relatively few plans to choose from, since several large insurers have declined to participate. In New York, for example, Aetna, the nations No. 3 insurer, has withdrawn from the state-run exchange.
And the insurance plan you buy may not include your current doctor.(didn't "The One" make a speech promising if you like your doctor, you can keep him or her?") As The New York Times reports, many insurers are trying to control costs by cutting down the number of hospitals and doctors in their networks.
Thats what the Obama administration euphemistically calls some early problems. For example, that the software that determines how much people actually have to pay for the insurance cant actually calculate the price. Oops.
No wonder the same unions that pushed for Obammycare are now upset and Nancy Pelosi who didn't read it but passed it won't ever have to use it.

President Barack Obama famously promised,If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan. He later got even more specific.
If you are among the hundreds of millions of Americans who already have health insurance through your job, or Medicare, or Medicaid, or the VA, nothing in this plan will require you or your employer to change the coverage or the doctor you have, Obama said.
But as Obamacares rollout approaches, we have learned this is not true. Here are the ten states where consumers may like their health care plans, but they wont be able to keep them.
1) California: 58,000 will lose their plans under Obamacare. The first bomb dropped in California with a mass exodus from the most populated states Obamacare exchange. Aetna, the countrys largest insurer, left first in July and was closely followed by UnitedHealth. Anthem Blue Cross pulled out of Californias Obamacare exchange for small businesses as well.
Fifty-four percent of Californians expect to lose their coverage, according to an August pol
