A precedent was established by the SCOTUS, one that says the government can force us to purchase a product. In law, precedent is everything. Why? Because it then becomes PRACTICE.
Why, after the democrats have gone this far, stop at health insurance? Does anyone think the government, no matter which side is in power, will stop with health insurance? Ask yourselves this - has the gov't ever once, having expanded its authority, not expanded upon that authority?
So, what's next, life insurance? Solar panels for your home? Electric cars?
You folks who wanted the Supreme Court to side with Obama have no idea as to the can of worms you've opened and dumped down an already slippery slope.
