At least Bush wasn’t viewed as a Wuss—“they” hated him, but so what. At least he didn’t promised to be “flexible” and then bend over and grab his ankles.<quoted text>
just look at what happened when the owner of a baseball team took over.
Written in June 2013 before Obama bungled Syria and really became Putin’s bitch (no wonder he flipped on gay marriage):
Wussy Diplomacy at Work
When Obama sought the Presidency he promised a new approach to foreign policy. Under Bush and “cowboy diplomacy”(a/k/a Balls) our relations were at an all-time low as depicted by Obama and the left. He would use his charm and reason to win foreign nations to our side and cause. He would even accomplish this remarkable feat with our adversaries.
Step one… an apology tour of the Middle East to gain their respect…
It definitely worked with our leftist allies. His initial speech in Berlin in 2008 attracted a crowd of over 100,000. He was adored by socialist Europe for the simple fact that he wasn’t Bush. He even won a Nobel Peace Prize for that “accomplishment”.
This month (June 2013) Obama returned to Berlin, and attracted a crowd of… less than 5000. The message from Europe is clear “The Thrill is Gone”.
Europe has finally learned that when it comes to the man behind the curtain; it’s all just SMOKE & MIRRORS.
These theatrics may have assured one of the WORST Presidents in American history a second term but the price the U.S. will continue to pay for this social/racial expunging will take decades to unravel.
“Since his first day in office, President Barack Obama’s foreign policy has rested on outreach: resetting ties with Russia, building a partnership with China and offering a fresh start with antagonistic leaders from Iran to Venezuela. But the global travels on Monday of NSA turncoat Edward Snowden highlight the limits of that approach. Leaders Obama has wooed – and met recently – were willing to snub the American president.”— Reuters
