What happens when people accustomed to "free" medical care are required to pay now that they have insurance?
Will welfare pay the deductibles and copays?
If you are on welfare you are likely covered by Medicaid & that will not change.

Galt is showing how uninformed he is.

Covered California has serious network problems...far too few doctors for the anticipated enrollment.

The ObamaKKKare exchanges are the insurance company Dollar Store plans.

Research has proven over and over again that there are only about 2% of recipients who abuse the system. That is a pittance. Heck, "4 million dollars over ten years" is laughable. One F-35 fighter jet costs $769 million. Reslugs should look to the military if they want to cut costs instead of trying to blame everything on the less fortunate.
Unlike medical care, national defense is authorized by the US Constitution.

Keeping adult children on your policy was never free. I have no copay now for check ups. There are no free abortions under the exchanges. With the Fluke tizzy fit you dipsticks had, insurance companies had offer to include contraception without copay at no extra cost - let me know if you figure out why.

The example given did not involve operation of a motor vehicle.

Given the severity of drunk driving laws, most attorneys advise refusing a blood test if you know you are over the limit, even if that means loss of your license.

You'd have to understand her(his?)personal history. Leospamdra's Father committed suicide by driving his truck purposely into a tree (in order to get away from him/her).

Understandable, right?

Will Reid/President shutdown the Government?
The question is really, "Will Boehner and GOP lawmakers shutdown the Government?"

The ridiculousness of their recent budget bill certainly seems to indicate that they are headed in that direction. The Republican sequester will remain in place and the Republicans will lose in their attempt to undercut the Affordable Care Act.

The taxpayers pick up the tab whether we have welfare deadbeats or ObamaKKKare. The only difference is that the bill will be much larger with ObamaKKKare.
Insurance companies are just middlemen, processing claims for a fee, and have no real interest in the services provided or the cost thereof. Many large corporations are self-insured.
However, the Affordable Care Act does have an interest in the services provided and the cost thereof. Refreshing for a change.
