Republicans on Obama care:

OMG OMG OMG Subsidizing policies OMG OMG subsidies are Welfare!!!""" OMG OMG Exchanges won't work!!! OMG OMG.

Republicans now want to defund Obamacare & replace it.

"Under the proposal endorsed by the 175-member Republican Study Committee, Americans who purchase coverage through state-run exchanges can claim a $7,500 deduction against their income and payroll taxes, regardless of the cost of the insurance. Families could deduct $20,000."

1) State run exchanges - ummmmm where did that come from?

2) Income tax & PAYROLL Tax deductions. Isn't this like subsidizing the purchase of insurance?

3) Convolution incorporated here. A family of 4 with two parents working & yet does not make enough to currently pay income tax gets NOTHING. What good is a deduction if you are not currently paying taxes?

4) Are we now reducing funding of SS & Medicare? WTF is this payroll tax deduction?

Republicans pissed & moaned about this crap & now find lots of Obamacare they like.

Republicans officially go off the deep end. Wasting all this time & money in Congress fighting a bill they ultimate;y like while doping nothing to help us recover.

Republicans are dumber than sh&*t.

They also discussed upping the funding of the High Risk Pool but decided they did not want Obamacare to look good.

So, you are running from your comment.

A poster said debt starting increasing in the 80's.

You accused him of wanting to let the Russians win the cold war.

So, Flack, did or did that not imply that you thought the debt was OK because we were fighting the cold war?

Just asking for some clarity here.

TELL the class Sonic what O'bama's deficit of GDP is projected to be.
The (Russian) government now projects growth at little over 3 percent over the coming years, down from previous projections of 4.3-4.5 percent.
CRAP: what is the O'bama growth? If only we had 3 percent growth.
What was Russia's growth since O'bama has been in office? and what was O'bama's growth?
Go ahead Sonic tell the class... since you so smart.
Next year, the federal budget deficit is projected at 0.5 percent of gross domestic product, up from a 0.2 percent forecast in the previous budget plan.

In 2015, Russia foresees a deficit of 1 percent of GDP, having previously projected no deficit. The deficit is projected to narrow to 0.6 percent of GDP in 2016.

Although small by the standards of debt-burdened western governments, Russia's rising borrowing needs will deal a blow to much-touted ambitions to lower the budget's worrying dependence on volatile energy prices.

The non-oil deficit, which measures the underlying fiscal stance by stripping out oil and gas taxes, will barely decline over the next two years. In 2015 it will amount to 9.6 percent of GDP - up from a previous projection of 8.4 percent, and only fractionally below 10.3 percent in 2013.

A modest fall to 8.4 percent is projected in 2016 - still almost double its level before the 2008-9 financial crisis.

"It's important to reduce the non-oil-and-gas deficit... as this will ensure more stability in budget revenue," said Alexei Devyatov, chief economist at Uralsib.

"So far Russia was pretty lucky because oil prices were quite high, but this may not last long. That's the problem."

http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/09/18/rus...

and it's hard to grow when you're digging out of the deficit hole the last guy left you. you know, when Obama did what Bush wouldn't and put the Bush wars on the books. but nonetheless....

Well libtard the debt increased a hell of a lot more fighting WWII. Guess you just would have let Hitler and Tojo take over the world so you could have a balannced budget and no debt. Fight a war, cold or hot, is the function of the federal government. Giving people money or things is not. That is a local or state function. If you libtards weren't so hell bent on the federal government running your lives for you we could come up with real solutions. Most don't involve the federal government.

Since they're printing money like it's toilet paper, why not shell out a minimum wage of $30 an hour, whether you work or not? That and "free" health care would insure prosperity and good health for generations to come. Right?

A group of House conservatives introduced legislation Wednesday that members say will replace ObamaCare and its “unworkable” taxes and mandates with a plan that expands tax breaks for Americans who buy their own insurance.

Under the proposal endorsed by the 175-member Republican Study Committee, Americans who purchase coverage through state-run exchanges can claim a $7,500 deduction against their income and payroll taxes, regardless of the cost of the insurance. Families could deduct $20,000.

Seems they're the ones with a vested interest in rewriting that part of history.
