The problem is Greece was that the wealthy were not paying any taxes; there was no property taxes paid; billionaires were buying buildings and paying nothing. Now, they have a mess and the poor people have to suffer because of greed and tax evasion by the rich.
What a liar & ignoramus.

Why is Greece in trouble?

Greece was living beyond its means even before it joined the euro. After it adopted the single currency, public spending soared.

Public sector wages, for example, rose 50% between 1999 and 2007 - far faster than in most other eurozone countries. The government also ran up big debts paying for the 2004 Athens Olympics.

And while money flowed out of the government's coffers, its income was hit by widespread tax evasion. So, after years of overspending, its budget deficit - the difference between spending and income - spiralled out of control.

Moreover, much of the borrowing was concealed, as successive Greek governments sought to meet the 3%-of-GDP cap on borrowing that is required of members of the euro.

When the global financial downturn hit - and Greece's hidden borrowings came to light - the country was ill-prepared to cope.

Supporting Obama? Bush only pays around $225,000 a year in federal income taxes. Heck, that is not even enough to pay for one of Obama's many vacations. Barely covers Michelle's twerking lessons.

From 2012:

Obamaís 262 Drone Strikes in Pakistan

A map of all the reported attacksófive times as many under Obama as under Bush.

Obama has ratcheted up his predecessorís tactic of deploying unmanned aircraft into Pakistan and Yemen to kill supposed terrorists (even U.S. citizens).

Since Obama took office, media outlets have reported more than 300 drone strikes in Pakistan targeting al-Qaeda or the Taliban, outnumbering the Bush administrationís drone strikes five to one.

Wow.
Are they more worthless than a pretend oilfield engineer whose salary is subsidized by the federal government?
We have an economy, that according to you right whiners, can't exist without worthless people to work at minimum wage?
If anyone working hard is making minimum wage, they just started working hard the other day, or maybe just this morning.
Anyone who works hard as a way of life will not be in the position you describe. They are in that position because they made the choices that caused them to be worth only minimum wage, if that.

Anyone who is still making minimum wage after two years in the work force is worthless.
I suggest firing anyone who has not progressed above minimum wage after two years. Perhaps they are just in the wrong place. If that is the case, then they needed to change jobs. Sometimes that's the only change that needs to be made.
If you don't like making minimum wage, make the choices that makes you worth more than minimum wage.

Liberals caught lying again:

"Can you rely on the weather forecast? Maybe not, at least when it comes to global warming predictions over short time periods.

Thatís the upshot of a new study in the journal Nature Climate Change that compared 117 climate predictions made in the 1990's to the actual amount of warming. Out of 117 predictions, the studyís author told FoxNews.com , three were roughly accurate and 114 overestimated the amount of warming. On average, the predictions forecasted two times more global warming than actually occurred."

<quoted text>Look at what Obama says that he wants in Syria--he wants Assad's chemical weapons stockpile either destroyed by a U S missile strike or by a negotiation led by Russia and France to have Assad's chemical weapons delivered to international control for eventual destruction. That outcome wouldn't be aiding al Qaeda in Syria , but keep Assad's weapons of mass destruction from ever falling into their hands . It would be quite a diplomatic accomplishment if Obama and Putin could pull it off and create new momentum to move towards the international Geneva I agreement at ending the Syrian civil war.
Further,it was never the Obama policy to remove Assad from power--that's what the neocons led by John McCain, James Inhofe, and Lindsey Graham were hoping to convince the President to do. So,'D B Writer, you're so ready to get the U S military heavily involved in another Middle East war before we've even finished getting out of the two previous two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? Weakening Assad's military command & control and army would be playing right into the hands of the most powerful, best organized rebel groups fighting Assad that also happen to be the craziest, most extremist groups in Syria . The diplomat route to work with Russia and Iran who share our own fear and anxiety over the spread of chemical weapons appears to be the more rational solution and best option for success right now with the least number of bad outcomes .
What "international control", dumbass?

We're in only one war in the Arab world, the war they started with us on 9/11(2001)... well, that was true until Obama joined the war in Libya, which turned half the country over to Al Qaeda.

The recent developments concerning Syria are disastrous to Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. The only way to turn that around is for Obama to sabotage the chemical weapons proposal.

Now, what "international control", dumbass? Putin won't accept any terrorists in that group, and Obama will insist on terrorists being in that group.

Like I said, Obama has to sabotage the chemical weapons proposal to satisfy Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

A "Putin-like move"

WMD conjecture in the aftermath of the 2003 invasion of Iraq

Quote:
Former Iraqi general Georges Sada claimed that in late 2002, "Saddam had ordered all of his stockpiles to be moved to Syria". He appeared on Fox News' Hannity & Colmes in January 2006 to discuss his book, Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied and Survived Saddam Hussein. Anticipating the arrival of weapon inspectors on November 1, Sada said Saddam took advantage of the June 4 Zeyzoun Dam disaster in Syria by forming an "air bridge", loading them onto cargo aircraft and flying them out of the country.

WASHINGTON (AP)- The gulf between the richest 1% and the rest of America is the widest it's been since the Roaring '20s.

The very wealthiest Americans earned more than 19% of the country's household income last year - their biggest share since 1928, the year before the stock market crash. And the top 10% captured a record 48.2% of total earnings last year.
