Obama is stronger now than ever. A good leader is not arrogant. He must be capable of changing his direction when circumstances change and Obama has proven he is a true leader. He will look like a miracle worker if the Putin plan works. If it fails, he will be praised for leaving no stone unturned toward a peaceful resolution.
This has been one of the most humiliating episodes in presidential history.

now that it looks like we won't be attacking Syria how long do you think it will be before the right wing media starts asking why we didn't attack Syria?

Don't you think if the CRA was the problem that you f*cking idiots could find another article instead of posting this one over & over.
It just proves that there is yet another right whiner trying to push blame away from those at fault. Those who had been running each & very department ofd the federal government for at least 6 years. Congressional Committees basically run by Republicans for 12 years.
So, do you call yourself Richard III because you;re a third generational dick?
These people are too ignorant to recognize that the author of the article, DiLorenzo, is a libertarian who is recognized as an ignoramus and has spoken out and defends the right of the secession of the "Confederate States of America".

Political scientists Michael M. Uhlmann and Thomas L. Krannawitter wrote that "DiLorenzo displayed new heights of ignorance about the most basic problems of constitutional government, as well as the basic history of America." I believe that statement could be applied to most Republicans as well.

No its called FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

The true test of Freedom of Speech is not when you allow those with whom you agree with to speak, but when you allow those who hate and abhor their message that same freedom.

I know its a difficult concept for you to understand, and I doubt you will.

Of course Obama is reluctant to take military action. God forbid that we would have a president who authorizes military action without hesitation.

Syria crisis: Obama leans to diplomacy on chemical weapons impasse

Barack Obama has used a televised address to lay the path for a possible diplomatic resolution to the impasse over Syria, pledging to work directly with Russia to force the Assad regime to give up its chemical weapons but insisting military strikes remain a possibility.

The US president said that although he had suspended a congressional vote to authorise force against Syria, he had ordered the military to "maintain their current posture to keep the pressure on Assad and to be in a position to respond if diplomacy fails".

Tell me why should we be involved with the internal politics of foreign countries?

If you knew anything about our history, you would know that our first government under the Articles of Confederation didn't work out and there were growing pains. Try researching Shay's Rebellion. Democracy takes blood sweat and tears. For countries that have bad autocratic rulers for decades, it usually doesn't work out on the first go.

does it really matter, If they don't say President Obama personally knew of the impending attack, personally ordered Chris Stevens there, personally ordered the insurgents to attack and personally ordered the military to stand down you won't believe it anyway.

The reich wingnut McCain is already claiming that Obama "should have acted, as other presidents have" by going it alone and a.ttacking Syria without UN or Congressional approval. Strange bunch

Absolutely, but these Neanderthals on here don't get it. But, they will once they realize that all of their efforts to sabotage Obamacare will not work and eventually any kinks will be ironed out and all will be well in the country.
As far as Democracy; it's a hard sell to those countries, look at Russia.

Marble mouthed O'bama in his 16-minute address, was at odds with himself. He spent the first 12 minutes arguing for the merits of striking Syria and then delivered the news that he was putting military action on hold. WTH. O'bama is a clown. You didn't see the same speech I did, did you?

OF course, that is why they would not issue a permit to the 2 million AMERICAN Patriots who wanted to ride their motorcycles in the same Washington, DC. WELL--the AMERICAN Patriots are riding through muzzieville anyway.

So in other words you stated that the O'bama administration, by not allowing a permit, for Patriots is failing the test. Got it!
