You don't know who the rebels are, FOX hasn't told you. The CIA and by proxy the administration knows who the fck they are. John McCain got his azz tricked though__didn't he?
So you completely trust the CIA and the Intel now but not when they were absolutely convinced Saddam had WMDs?

The thing is, I gave the Intel a pass when it came to Saddam's WMDs because everyone including the UN knew he not only had them but used them numerous times.

He just had time to move them to Syria.

But you couldn't demonize Bush enough for "lying" in spite of the Intel and the world knowing about Saddam's WMDs, could you?

Be honest.

I have news, we can grow more food & we expanded our corn production to meet the increased requirements for ethanol.
Food spikes have much more to do with fraughts & other farm related issues than ethanol.
A CBO report done in 2009 said that of the 5.1% increase in food prices, only .5 to .8 percentage points were because of ethanol.
If we did not use ethanol, then our use of oil for transportation would go up by 10% increasing the demand for oil & raising the cost of fuel. We would be exporting tens of billions of dollars instead of spending that money here in the US.
The way to cheaper oil is to use less. But you right whiners refuse to conserve. All you fricken morons do is scream " Drill, Baby Drill" being too GD stupid to know the supply of oil is limited.
You b*tch about Syria & the Middle East as you fund the tyrants with your thirst for oil.
Those older well in the Middle East are producing oil at a cost at the head of under $3 a Barrel. Oil is over $100 a barrel. I think they can afford to spend an extra 1% a year for food.

The hand writing on the wall is for all to read. From 1848 with 50 countries revolting against the dictatorial, hierology, oligarchies, etc. etc. Voice of the suppressed has risen and sustained through the years. Slowly gaining ground, progressing to the demise of inequality and those that support austerity policies.
Political change resulted whether the demonstrations by the suppressed actually lost their cause goals. Remaining in their wake currents that had politics drifting to the causes of the suppressed demands.
1848 all 50 countries in voicing their discontent were silenced by military might of their sovereignties. In the wake of that military or political suppression through the years the voices of those silenced haunted the sovereignties who then made subtle changes that recognized officially what was voiced by their constituents.
Prague Spring of 1968 was silenced. In its wake in less than 30 years exposed the failure of the Russian oligarchy. Its inability to compete on the Liberal International Free Trade Markets of the world. And the “Walls” came a tumbling down.
Recently we have had the Flower children voicing their disapproval of inequality in the 60’s. They were silenced. In their wake voices rose to challenge the financial inequality of the 1%. Both of these causes reverberated through out the world in various countries.
Arab Spring; Syria, Libya, Egypt or Tunisia, where seldom a voice was allowed to rise, has now voices of all fractions within themselves openly communicating their preferences‘.
Autocratic sovereignties of these nations kept them in uneducated, overly populated and poverty. As it has been for nations seeking the liberty of democracy, blood of the martyrs for liberty will once again nourish the soils for democracy. Years in its growth and formation. Steadily growing to the light of the Liberal Free Trade Markets rewarding illuminations of unity and peace.

See? Liberals are brain dead hypocrites.
The subprime mortgage crisis led to the collapse of the United States housing bubble. Falling housing-related assets contributed to a global financial crisis, even as oil and food prices soared. The crisis led to the failure or collapse of many of the United States' largest financial institutions: Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Lehman Brothers, Citi Bank and AIG, as well as a crisis in the automobile industry. The government responded with an unprecedented $700 billion bank bailout and $787 billion fiscal stimulus package. The National Bureau of Economic Research declared the end of this recession over a year after the end date.

There would have been no need to launch an invasion into Syria-Iraq was stabilizing under GW Bush. On Monday, erstwhile Fox News personality Glenn Beck announced that he has become anti-war because war is too “progressive.” RingWingWatch.org reported that Beck said he is against the possibility of a war in Syria because it would be all about oil, and that in the end, Pres. Barack Obama is the same as former Vice Pres. Dick Cheney.

That would be the weapons and facilities that Assad denied having just last week.
Oh My!
He denied 'using' them--not having them. Are the rebels going to have to turn their stock piles over also--because they confirmed they have chemical weapons and that they have used them.

"Syrian rebels in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta have admitted to Associated Press correspondent Dale Gavlak that they were responsible for last week’s chemical weapons incident which western powers have blamed on Bashar Al-Assad’s forces, revealing that the casualties were the result of an accident caused by rebels mishandling chemical weapons provided to them by Saudi Arabia."

I have some sad news for you. Trip from here to farm with the old gas 3/4 of a tank. Same trip, same truck, same tune up takes a tank and a half. That's 14 gallons. 14 x $3.25 (cost today)=$45.50 more to travel the same distance. Throw in the fact that everything that has corn in it has doubled and it proves you are wrong. Completely.

Janet Napolitano's experience dealing with terror threats while secretary of Homeland Security may come in handy at her new gig as president of the University of California system, where liberal students have already presented her with a list of wacky demands.

A letter endorsed by nearly a dozen student groups includes the phrase:“We demand that you implement the following across the UC system.” Those demands include making the system a “sanctuary” for illegal immigrants, barring the use of system funds or resources going to help Immigration and Customs Enforcement (which Napolitano oversaw in her previous job), impose mandatory sensitivity training on campus police and prohibit police from interfering with student demonstrations.

“As people of color, queer, undocumented, womyn (sic), and allies within the UC system, our work is to ensure that the UC is inclusive to our communities ..."

“As people of color, queer, undocumented, womyn (sic), and allies within the UC system, our work is to ensure that the UC is inclusive to our communities and that the UC system lives up to its mission ‘to serve as a center of higher learning,’” reads the letter, which was initially published on DreamActivist.org Sunday.

It goes on to cite Napolitano’s “specific experience in managing militaristic entities” as reasons why they are “uneasy” about her taking over the system. Napolitano, who oversaw the deportation of 1.6 million illegal aliens during the first term of President Obama, last month became the first woman appointed to head the sprawling system.

The letter was signed or endorsed by dozens of UC student activist groups, including Black Student Unions, Students for Justice in Palestine, American Indian Student Associations, Queer Alliances, Migrants Rights Awareness, Students Empowering Dreams and Students Informing Now.

The groups called on Napolitano, who takes her new office this month, to make the 10-campus, 234,000-student system provide illegal immigrants with special IDs that would allow them to work for the schools. The demand for annual mandatory training for campus police is aimed at teaching them “the rights of undocumented communities to prevent harassment and criminalization.”

The student groups also demanded that Napolitano develop courses on “undocumented/immigrant experiences; and hire staff that specializes in undocumented student affairs.”

In the letter, the coalition of student groups demands a meeting with Napolitano on Wednesday and pledges to “do our best to cooperate with you in setting this up so all parties can have a productive conversation.”

We are talking about war costs boosting the deficit. Only Bush offered no finding for his wars & just added the cost to the debt.
"In 1950 and 1951 Congress increased taxes by close to 4% of GDP to pay for the Korean War, even though the high World War II tax rates were still largely in effect. In 1968, a 10% surtax was imposed to pay for the Vietnam War, which raised revenue by about 1% of GDP. "

Let's talk about war costs boosting the deficit.

http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/

This has been shown to you before, but for some reason, you continue to lie.

The maximum deficit during the war the Arabs started while the Republicans had control of all the purse strings of the government was about 0.5 (that's zero point five) trillion dollars. The Republicans turned over to the Democrats all the purse strings of government in January, 2007, a declining deficit of 0.16 (that's zero point one six) trillion dollars DURING A WAR. The projection for the next year was a balance budget DURING A WAR. The total debt was 8.5 trillion dollars, having been increased from 5 trillion dollars at the beginning of the war the Arabs started. The Democrats increased the annual deficit ONE THOUSAND PERCENT and doubled the debt.
Today, the Democrats' version of government requires borrowing 1.3 trillion dollars every year just for the day-to-day existence of their government. And, THERE IS NO PLAN IN EXISTENCE TO END THIS.
An idiot can tell you this government will collapse.

So, since it's obvious the Democrats will collapse our government, what is the Democrats' plan for government after this government collapses?

Well, if you’re one of those out there who has thus far failed to see the dominance of Vladimir Putin in the Putin/Obama relationship … the light surely must be shining now.

In the last 24 hours our Dear Ruler has managed to show not only America, but the rest of the world, just how weak he is on the world stage.

A bit of a recap here to show you what kind of a bind Obama was in:

• Obama goes off-teleprompter (always a dangerous thing) and comes up with this “red line” gaff. He is then on the record as saying that Assad will be dealt with harshly if he dares to use chemical weapons.

• Assad uses (or at least Obama and Kerry say he used) chemical weapons against his own people.

• Obama realizes how badly he screwed up with his “red line” comment. His credibility, whatever is left of it, is on the line.

• Obama seeks help from Great Britain. For the first time since 1792 the British Parliament refuses to go along with a request from the Prime Minister to use force. Obama is in this on his own.

• Obama needs someone to stand with him on this, so he tells the nation he will seek an approval vote for the Congress. It soon becomes clear the congress is not going along. The Senate…maybe…but not the house. Obama is feeling even more lonely and exposed.

• Obama calls in the campaign team, Plouffe et al.
It’s not policy he’s looking for, it’s words. They tell him to tell the world that the red line isn’t really his. Fail.

• Virtually all polls taken of the American people show strong opposition to Obama’s planned attack on Syria.

Obama is not a leader, he is a fraud.
