What are you going to do when Obama graciously accepts the defeat in Congress of the resolution and stands down as the leader of a military action against Syria? Call him a patriot? A true leader? I doubt it....
Why should anyone call Obama a patriot?
He can obviously lead. Just look at the mindless minions supporting him while he plans to use the US Armed Forces as dupes to help Al Qaeda take over Syria.

The Muslim Brotherhood has ordered Obama to help Al Qaeda and start a war with Syria. Obama doesn't answer to Congress. Obama answers to the Muslim Brotherhood.
And, somehow, you dupes put someone like that in the White House.
We will pay dearly for being duped so thoroughly.

In the military, the reference used to command a servicemember to obey was "lawful order". No member of the military is obligated to obey an unlawful order, regardless of the rank issuing it.

I wonder what will happen when Congress votes down Obama's war with Syria, and Obama obeys his Muslim Brotherhood masters and orders the US Armed Forces to start a war with Syria.

How Secret Deals Under Reagan Secured
Saddam An Arsenal Of WMD

It was just before Christmas 1983 that Donald Rumsfeld, then US presidential envoy to Iraq, slipped quietly into Baghdad to come face to face with the man who would become one of America's greatest enemies within two decades.

The trip by the current US defence secretary, to pledge US support for Saddam Hussein, marked one of the lowest points of the entire Reagan presidency, and symbolically represents the real legacy of the "Great Communicator". For Reagan was a president who allowed the US to secretly arm the Iraqi dictator with weapons of mass destruction (WMD), supported Iraq's military expansion, turned a blind eye to Saddam using chemical weapons against Iran and thereby set in train the events that would lead to George W Bush's disastrous decision to invade the country in 2002.

While America was selling WMD to Iraq, Reagan was also telling Saddam to increase his brutal campaign against the Iranian fundamentalist regime, even while Iraqi poison gas was falling on Persian battlefields. The Reagan presidency made America complicit in Saddam's war crimes.

Yeah, that worked real well during the Vietnam War. It didn't make a difference to Democrat President Johnson.

Not saying what you posted is true, but it's his "lone wolf leader" mentality that's concerning.
Didn't Obama say during a trip in Colorado last year “And where Congress is not willing to act, we’re going to go ahead and do it ourselves.”
And didn't he circumvent Congress to grant 1.5 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in spite of Congress restricting and even halting military aid to Egypt until and “unless the State Department certifies that Egypt is making progress on basic freedoms and human rights”?
It seems the Egyptian military has the documents proving Obama is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
And, yes, he intends to act as if Congress and the Constitution don't exist.
With that, our credibility in the world, what little we had left, just went to zero.
Obama will order the US Armed Forces to start a war with Syria. I'm not sure what will happen next. I can see a number of possibilities, one being the military seizing Obama. That would be disastrous. But, there is nothing Obama has brought upon us that isn't disastrous. Some disastrous actions are less devastating than others.

And, you are "cwayzeeee"
An interesting take by David Frum, a contributing editor at Newsweek and CNN contributor.

"Nobody remembers now, but after Mubarak's fall there was much debate whether the Muslim Brotherhood should be allowed to participate in Egypt's new political system. West Germany banned neo-Nazi parties after 1945; the post-1989 Czech Republic forbade former communist officials to hold government jobs - and both democracies are stronger for it. In the end, the Muslim Brotherhood escaped the ban by promising not to run a candidate for president, a promise it promptly broke.

"Through it all, the Obama administration pressed for engagement, inclusion and acceptance, provided only that the Muslim Brotherhood complied with the rules of the political system. It did - and here we are.

"That's the argument to have."

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/09...

Obama has always waffled over certain radical Islamists. He always seemed to think he could influence a certain segment and they wouldn't disappoint him.

That's just naivety on his part.
