COME ALONG LILY FROM BOCA Ticket To War: No Moron Left Behind
You’re just a click away on your remote. Get the popcorn. It’s a blast. This one has MORAL STATURE! They used chemical weapons, so they will pay.

If your brother-in-law is over at the house as you watch the missile strike and he says,“You know, there’s no good proof Assad used poison gas,” poke him in the eye with a sizzling hot dog on a stick and yell,“USA! USA! USA!”
so they will pay.

Don’t miss Chris Matthews. He’s tingling all over.“The president did the right thing and he upheld the Constitution. Only a living god could figure out how to pull that off.”

Welcome to the Syrian theater. All the players are assembled. Which one will intervene and turn a two-day blitz into a global conflagration?

We realize you don’t have whatever it takes to actually enlist in the Armed Forces and do six insane tours in Afghanistan building A-frames and wondering when one of those villagers will shoot you in the head. No problem. You can experience a very good simulacrum in your own mind. The anticipation. The adrenaline flow. The sweaty palms. Then the limbic thrust of revenge.

And as a bonus? No court martial when it turns out you killed an Afghan who was just reaching in his coat pocket for a screwdriver to attach his new front door!

The Syrian run-up is almost as good as the first missile launch. Click to Wolf Blitzer as he recalls his coverage of Gulf War One, when he made his bones purely on the basis of his name.

Catch the living cadaver, Scott Pelley, as he flashes back on his work at the Davidian siege at Waco.

Count down to the first explosion with the eternal newsboy riding his bike and flipping papers on front porches, Brian Williams.

Feel the undertone of sodden grief with Dianne Sawyer (weeps for everybody/all the time) as she does war as only a former America’s Junior Miss can.

And then, boom! You’re there. The attack is on! The sky over Damascus lights up! What unknown newsman, standing on a rooftop, narrating the unfolding scene, will emerge from the carnage with name recognition and a sudden career bump that makes his colleagues want to murder him in his sleep.

It’s the news! Tune in!

America is united again. Feel it. What took us so long to find each other once more? Post your experience on Facebook. Share your ecstasy with faux friends. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance against a hip-hop track and hope it goes viral.

Finally, all the goody-two-shoes questions about who used chemical weapons and which side we’re backing in Syria and who is al Qaeda and the CIA sending weapons and killers from Libya to Syria are gone. Erased. This is the show! This is what counts! Pretext? Invented provocation? False flag? Don’t bother me, I’m eating war!

If only we still had the Rat Pack around. Frank, Dean, Sammy, Lawford, and Joey Bishop. They could do a Sarin Night at the Desert Inn and wow the crowd with their support for the guys who launch the Tomahawks.

President Obama’s liberal activist base is adamantly opposed to military strikes in Syria, according to a new survey the Progressive Change Campaign Committee released Wednesday.

PCCC says more than 57,000 of its activists weighed in, and 73 percent of them opposed the U.S. taking action in Syria. Just 18 percent supported strikes, and just 14 percent said the U.S. should go ahead unilaterally if it can’t find any allies.

Indeed, a majority of the activists don’t believe Mr. Obama and Secretary of State John F. Kerry are being honest when they lay out their justifications for taking military action.

Four out of five activists also said they believe U.S. action will lead to deeper involvement in the civil war.

PCCC detailed the findings, which came from a three-day survey of its activists, in a memo to congressional Democrats.

“In the last 72 hours, we surveyed PCCC members across the nation – in every state and congressional district. We’ve received over 57,000 responses so far, and a clear result: Your progressive base stands firmly against bombing Syria,” said Adam Green and Stephanie Taylor, co-founders of PCCC.

TO THE LOUSE FROM BOCA lily Wartime Propaganda and America’s First Amendment,Good minds must not be closed on any topic, including narratives of Germany’s wartime internment camps. I do not pretend to know the answers. What I do know is that we, in this country, are blessed to have a First Amendment right to ask questions as well as to hear them, and to both hear and suggest answers. Anything less must considered unacceptable, including categorizing any topic as too sacrosanct to be discussed openly.

Auschwitz had a cinema, pool, brothel, post office, dental facilities, library, huge kitchen, university, sauna, camp money, hospital, maternity ward (3000 recorded live births without a single infant mortality while the camp was under German rule), orchestras, theater, soccer fields, etc. The Red Cross visited often and kept detailed records, some of which have been posted online. Why would the German National Socialist government have provided all of that?

Why fight disease by widespread anti-lice measures such as hair removal and cyanide gassing of clothing? Why are persons who ask these and other questions prosecuted at law? Responding to those who ask such questions by calling them names that are poorly defined is a ploy best used by propagandists and fascists. Why does violence so frequently take the place of rebuttal?

Must we believe every piece of propaganda fed to us on TV and in other controlled media? Raul Hilberg, the so-called establishment “expert” historian, testified on the record in the trial of Ernst Zundel that there is not a single autopsy report proving that even one person died of gas poisoning in the camps. Dying in a typhus epidemic does not equal deliberate murder

On Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz distilled the current debate over possible military action in Syria to its essential dilemma. While Syrian President Bashar Assad is certainly a ruthless dictator, the forces aligned against him are dominated by jihadis and elements of terrorist organizations. Cruz noted that Americans didn't enlist in the military to "serve as Al-Qaeda's Air Force."

“We certainly don’t have a dog in the fight,” Cruz said, calling it a civil war in Syria.“We should be focused on defending the United States of America. That’s why young men and women sign up to join the military, not to, as you know, serve as Al Qaeda’s air force.”

Cruz noted that of the nine major rebel groups, seven have ties to Al-Qaeda. Cruz's colleagues, Sens. McCain and Graham are pushing the Obama Administration to arm rebel forces with heavy weapons. It is unclear how the US would ensure that its weapons would go exclusively to the "right" rebel forces. Even if they were, it is likely that any post-Assad regime would be dominated by elements loyal to Al-Qaeda.

“I’ll give you one of the simplest principles of foreign policy that we ought to be following," Cruz said. "Don’t give weapons to people who hate you. Don’t give weapons to people who want to kill you."

David Cameron has publicly ruled out the prospect of British military action in Syria following days of speculation that MPs could be allowed to reconsider the case for intervention because of events in America.

The Prime Minister said that the UK “can’t be part and won’t be part” of any military strikes against Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Mr Cameron has come under pressure from senior Conservative to hold a second vote in the Commons on the issue after Barack Obama, the US President, delayed his response in Syria.

A number of ministers including Philip Hammond, the Defence Secretary, this week appeared to leave the door open to a second vote if the circumstances in Syria “change very significantly”.

Downing Street had for days only said that there were "absolutely no plans" to return to the Commons for another vote on Syria.

However, speaking during Prime Minister’s Questions, Mr Cameron excluded the possibility of Britain having any role in military action.

better.

In 2004, Nakhleh, a Palestinian-American Christian who was born in Nazareth, founded the CIA’s Political Islam Strategic Analysis Program, which quietly reached out to Islamists. By Nakhleh’s own account, he has visited more than 30 countries through the years and interviewed hundreds if not thousands of Islamists—moderates, radicals, sympathizers of the Taliban, and members of the Muslim Brotherhood. In his meetings with various Islamists, Nakhleh says he was most often asked why the United States supports regimes that repress Islamist parties.“The regimes were the top issue,” he says.

Some in the Bush administration agreed that the United States needed more contact with these groups. After the 2005 Egyptian elections, in which Brotherhood-affiliated candidates won 88 seats in the national assembly, the U.S. Embassy began to reach out to the new parliamentarians.“The Muslim Brotherhood was illegal in Egypt, but certain parliamentarians who were connected to the Muslim Brotherhood were, we felt, worth talking to,” says Elliott Abrams, who was a deputy national security adviser.

http://www.newrepublic.com/article/world/maga...

In the years after the September 11 attacks, the United States initially went after the Brotherhood, declaring many of its key members to be backers of terrorism. But by Bush’s second term, the US was losing two wars in the Muslim world and facing hostile Muslim minorities in Germany, France, and other European countries, where the Brotherhood had established an influential presence. The US quietly changed its position.

The Bush administration devised a strategy to establish close relations with Muslim groups in Europe that were ideologically close to the Brotherhood, figuring that it could be an interlocutor in dealing with more radical groups, such as the home-grown extremists in Paris, London and Hamburg. And, as in the 1950s, government officials wanted to project an image to the Muslim world that Washington was close to western-based Islamists. So starting in 2005, the State Department launched an effort to woo the Brotherhood. In 2006, for example, it organized a conference in Brussels between these European Muslim Brothers and American Muslims, such as the Islamic Society of North America, who are considered close to the Brotherhood. All of this was backed by CIA analyses, with one from 2006 saying the Brotherhood featured “impressive internal dynamism, organization, and media savvy.” Despite the concerns of western allies that supporting the Brotherhood in Europe was too risky, the CIA pushed for cooperation. As for the Obama administration, it carried over some of the people on the Bush team who had helped devise this strategy.

EVEN AMERICANS ARE TIRED OF AMERICAN POLITICIANS AND POLITICS The New Superpower of Global Public Opinion.

Is It Finally Coming of Age?

Social Media, Public Perceptions, and the Changing Mental Environment of War Politics.

The people of the world have reached a critical mass of intolerance towards the rogue terror states of the US, Britain, France, Israel and a few other accomplices. We have watched their relentless mass murder and exploitation of fellow humans in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. We have witnessed how this tiny group of state terrorists imposes on the vast majority of humanity their vile criminality and in the process then insult us with grotesque lies and justifications. We have seen how these rogue states have stolen land, poisoned people’s water, burnt their crops, dispossessed their homes, assassinated families with aerial drones and ground drones in the form of death squads. They have committed all these shocking crimes with lies and impunity to the point where now these state terrorists are operating in more than one country simultaneously in a permanent state of relentless war, pushing the very future of humanity to the brink.

The United States in particular is perceived as the “enemy of the world… pushing the very future of humanity to the brink.” The other side of this equation of popular disgust is that the most strategic and demanding challenge facing the all world’s citizens, including decent men and women inside the United States and Israel, is to reign in the lethal violence and pervasive lawlessness that presently characterizes the West’s orientation to the global community.

In order to secure a viable future for humanity and all life on Earth, the United States, Israel, and the NATO group of countries must somehow be made to adhere to the imperatives of international law and due process espoused so enthusiastically by US prosecutors in the opening phase of war crimes proceedings at Nuremberg in 1945.

Bashar al-Assad and his wife meeting the Queen. Assad and his entourage was feted by British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London in 2002.
In this era when social media on the Internet both facilitates and reflects a dawning political consciousness of worldwide proportions, the old tactics of mass propaganda for aggressive warfare seem to be fast becoming obsolete. As demonstrated by the the worldwide rejection of the Obama administration’s claims that the West needs to intervene militarily in Syria to prevent the Baathist regime of Bashar al-Assad from committing crimes against its own on people, there is massive public distrust being directed at the planet’s dominant military-industrial complex and the discredited media cartels that are serve it.

You act like he was playing Spades instead of paying attention to the important stuff. Like he did while the Navy Seals were getting ready to get bin Laden.

"The day members of SEAL Team Six stormed Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan and killed the terrorist mastermind, President Barack Obama at one point left the Situation Room to play cards, according to the president’s body man at the time.

It was not clear from Reggie Love's brief remarks last month at what point or for how long the president left the room during the day-long operation.

NBC News National Security analyst Michael Leiter, who was also in the room during the operation, said the president did leave at several points but was present during the raid itself.

Former White House aide Reggie Love recalls the day that Osama bin Laden was killed, saying President Barack Obama played numerous hands of cards with staff as a way to relieve stress before the raid on the al Qaeda leader.

In an interview with NBC News a year after the raid, Obama described the secretive assault as "the longest 40 minutes of my life."

Love recounted the day during a public affairs forum at UCLA of the story, telling the moderator,“most people were like down in the Situation Room, but he [the president] was like,‘I’m not, I can’t, I’m not going to be down there, I can’t watch this entire thing, just, so he, myself, Pete Souza, the White House photographer, Marvin, we played, we must have played 15 hands, 15 games of spades.”

Wow, this is really not recoverable. Obama has done a poor job in defining and selling this strike. The whole approach has been lazy, confused, arrogant and did little to instill confidence in the action.

Everyone, including Russia, knows that Syria needs torn away from Iran in order to control Iran. However, since the Afghanistan debacle Russia has gone to using covert actions. Something America use to do and with that foundation laid were able to look around and find many to support them when they asked "Who is behind us?"

Stabbing At Texas High School
A 16-year-old student is dead and three others injured after a stabbing in a Texas high school cafeteria Wednesday morning.Three people are in custody following the fight at Houston’s Spring High School around 7:10 a.m. said Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia at a press conference.

A second 16-year-old originally listed in critical condition at an area hospital has been reported by his pastor as improving. The two other students injured are said to have sustained minor injuries.

The single fatality has been identified by KPRC as Joshua Broussard who was a sophomore at the school.

Garcia described the fight breaking out over a “confrontation of some sort” that ultimately led into a physical fight that produced “sharp” weapons of some kind.

“We have not recovered those weapons so we are still conducting that aspect of the investigation,” he said while claiming that those currently in custody are the only persons of interest in the case.

A mother of a student who allegedly witnessed the stabbing recounted to KHOU of the terrifying phone call she received from her daughter telling her “they’re in here stabbing people.”

A few hours later a Hispanic adult man and a teen, suspected by local reports as being one of the first two teens, were seen being escorted back into the school in handcuffs.

It was not clear if the man and teenagers are the three suspects described by Garcia in the stabbing.

So they're restructuring their workforce to give workers 29 and a half hours so they don't have to provide them healthcare.
