It's common sense - something which progressive liberals are trying desperately to kill off once and for all.

In the eyes of progressives, it's necessary to use military force for humanitarian reasons when it involves WMDs killing a few hundred innocents in Syria but it's called war crimes when it involves WMDs killing 5000 innocents in Iraq.

That makes perfect sense to a progressive liberal like yourself, doesn't it?

You progressive liberals put your own selves between that same old rock and a hard place when you couldn't scream loud enough, "Bush lied!!" and "Bush is a war criminal!!" for saving Iraqis from Saddam's crimes against humanity but expect everyone and the rest of the world to pat Obama on the back when his only concern is saving face.

Seriously?

Even Democrats are divided over this decision. Rightly so.

Sadam depleted Iraq's oil? Really. At the time of the invasion, Iraq was a top 5 in oil reserves & still is.
Do you know anything real?
You do know that Sadam used the poison gas in 1988 not after he invaded Kuwait, right?
I have some further news, it was Desert Storm that dealt with Sadam's invasion. Not Bush Jr's Iraq war.
The US did not invade Libya.
You have so much incorrect in your post. Are you really this GD dumb?
Bush went to war on suspected WMDs & this supposed nuclear program. You defend that.
We know Assad has WMDs & he just used them. According to you in regards to Iraq war justification, we should be invading Syria.
I thought I told you sit down the dunce corner and sthu when you have no clue what you're whawahwahwhining about- yesterday "Dihmfk".

Now do it-and read this while you're there.

The Kuwait Business

Tensions between Iraq and Kuwait began to increase already in 1989, when the regime in Baghdad issued a number of statements towards Western powers, its Arab neighbours, and Israel. Most of Iraqi threats were targeting Kuwait.

Iraqis have had at least five reasons for their behaviour towards the smaller neighbour: Iraq could not repay about $80 billion that had been borrowed to finance the war with Iran. While, arguably, this war was in Kuwaiti and Saudi interests, Kuwait decided to not forgive Iraqs $65 billion debt, thus providing economic and emotional justification for an Iraqi attack. Kuwaitis were incredibly rich and have had huge investments abroad: access to this wealth could resolve Iraqs financial problems. The third reason was alleged Kuwaiti oil drilling in the Rumaylah oilfield, which lay in disputed border territory, and the fourth was Kuwaiti overproduction of oil. Gulf revenues were depressed as a result of an oil glut on the spot market in the late 1980s, forcing Iraq to threaten with the use of force as retribution for Kuwaiti overproduction and underpricing....

Now...

Do you better under stand the actual CONCEPT of rogue (saddam) FAILED STATE HOODS(and the result of HIS OWN DICtatorship)?

Once you get even a HINT of an idea of such-maybe we'll show you some "affects" of such. A perfect example of is now: LIBYA...with Syria looming on the horizen.

But now however, should we have to step foot where we really shouldn't be AGAIN (Libya-FAILED FOREIGN POLICY) at this point...I hope to the almighty blue skies, that some of OUR NSA types, have plenty of intel on just exactly where and what al qeada et al, in all their frothing, may have access too.
And that THEY may experience that of what THEY DUMPED on the U.S. some 12 years ago now.

Dirtbag, anarchial, stone age thug terrorists.

And, no, we didn't do anything after the massacre of 5000 Kurds using biological weapons. Neither did the UN or the rest of the world much to our humanitarianism disgrace.

But the world changed after 9/11, and we are still the #1 enemy of the enemy.

Bush made it perfectly clear that anyone who supported the enemy was our enemy.

Hillary Clinton made it perfectly clear Saddam supported our enemy.

In Syria, our enemies are killing each other off. How is it possible then any liberal can justify our intervention in Syria and not in Iraq?

That was in 2010. Anything more recent? Since the loophole was found in the ACA that allowed Obama to exempt them this past month?
Last Tuesday, legislation was introduced to reinstate the requirement that Congress go back on the ObamaCare exchanges, but I can't find any confirmation this has happened.
So if you can provide a recent source, it'd be helpful.
For one thing Carol, no legislation of any kind was introduced because Congress wasn't even in session.
Not only are you a damned liar but a spectacularly inept one as well. Congress always was in compliance with the affordable care act nitwit. The law requires large employers, and the federal government is a doubt a very large employer, to provide health insurance for their employees. Congress was doing exactly that through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan. As a matter of fact the insurance exchanges set up under the ACA were patterned after the FEHBP menu offered to all federal employees. Chuck Grassley decided to try to throw a wrench into the works by introducing legislation that would force members of Congress and their staff to purchase insurance from an exchange. The Democrats said "sure, why not?" So starting in 2014 members of Congress and their staff, including my son, will purchase coverage through an exchange. The Federal government will however continue to contribute to the cost of the insurance.
So Carol your statement that there was some kind of "loop hole" that exempted Congress from provisions of the ACA is just another one of your lies. Congress was never exempt, they were always in compliance.
Give up the lying Carol, you're just no good at it.

It's not even about really that. That's just ANOTHER excuse to dragggggggggg the U.S. in where it doesn't belong.

Only THIS time, maybe the PTB will see it all for what it is, and if the insistances keep up that we intervene- then I hope we lob the heck out of whatever we can into oblivion-and LEAVE....as in..

Absolutely NO NATION rebuilding.

Maybe THEN Hezbollah, Hamas, al qeada etc will learn how to act like CIVILIZED people, rather than lob and bomb barbaric THUGS.

The 3500 to 5000 (best estimate) Kurds died in 1989 during the Reagan era by weapons or at the least the chemical ingredients provided by the USA.

The world did not learn of the Halabja attacks in real time__most American's had no clue about Halabja until Bush began pushing for war against Iraq.

Why would you even bother posting that shameful nonsense???
