Bush started the fire by invading Iraq and turning it into shiite run place, beholden to Iran. Remember when he said they had WMD's, including chemical weapons? But later admitted he was wrong. But justified it by claiming Saddam was a bad man because he gassed the Kurds, with Reagan's help. That was 20 years earlier.
Now you say we should ignore Syria's use of chemical weapons? Assad isn't a bad man? He uses chemical weapons on his own people and we should ignore it?
I'm afraid we can't. Even sane Republiclowns in Congress agree. Assad has become too dangerous to leave in place. I hope a cruise missile goes right up his ass.
WRONG.

Saddam started the fire when he depleted his own nation into failed statehood-then invaded Kuwait in a bully attack because HE was "beholden" to Kuwait for STEALINg that which was not of his own countries, which then required allied national aid from other countries to drive Saddam back over into his own cess pool mess of failed statehood and chemical use on 5000 Kurds turned into whey--- which then perpetuated further instigation of the already ingrained hatred in bin_laden et al...which then led to the 9/11 attacks, much to Ahmajinadog of Irans glee as well--which then lead to JUSTIFIABLE reasons for U.S.presence in mid east regions (UNLIKE Libya) with actual plans in place on time lines etc....

UNTIL...enter current opotus and his "Arab Spring" promotional program of anarchy, destruction and aiding and abetting failed statehood (kind of like the THUG mentalcases of the Occupy Anyone elses Anything gutter streeter anarchists) of allowing for further infiltrations of terrorist orgs through out the region.

And now an even more PROMINENT point being-
It's NOT even known for sure-WHO implemented chemical weaponary, but many are leaning towards it being the terrorist insurgents!!!

Not NO-but HELL NO-- we have NO business adding ANY missiles to the MESS of Syria.

NONE.

There's absolutely NO JUSTIFIABLE reason to ADD more DAMAGE to a population of SOMe (but not all ) innocent people already SUFFERING.

NONE WHATSOEVER.

The Syria situation is U.N. realms-NOT your Messiah Obumblers-- and INTERPOL should be handling the extradition of Assad. NOT-NOT-NOT ANY other country.

IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH...and let someone who wants to work for the UNITED STATES do the JOB of POTUS.

Carol , none of these articles has anything to say on whether Iraq had an active WMD program prior to our invasion but only that they existed in the past. In fact you seem to have missed this little gem;
"Bush later said that the biggest regret of his presidency was "the intelligence failure" in Iraq,[17] while the Senate Intelligence Committee found in 2008 that his administration "misrepresented the intelligence and the threat from Iraq".[18] A key CIA informant in Iraq admitted that he lied about his allegations, "then watched in shock as it was used to justify the war".[19]

If we get involved in any way, we should kill Al Qaeda. They are still at war with the United States and will kill you only because you are an American.
Obama is ok with that. In fact, Obama is helping Al Qaeda acquire chemical weapons so they can kill a lot of other Americans when they kill you.
Or, you can tell us why Al Qaeda wants to kill me, and you, for some reason, believe they don't want to kill you.

US Neocon Hawks Take Flight Over Syria

Architects and key backers of 2003 invasion of Iraq have some advice for the president as he presses for US attack on new Middle East country

In an echo of the tactics they used to promote U.S. intervention in the Balkans, Iraq and Libya, a familiar clutch of neo-conservatives published a letter Tuesday urging President Barack Obama to go far beyond limited military strikes against Syria in retaliation for its government’s alleged use last week of chemical weapons that reportedly killed hundreds of people.

Signed by 66 former government officials and “foreign policy experts”– almost all of them strongly pro-Israel neo-conservatives – the letter, which was released by the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI), called for Washington “and other willing nations [to] consider direct military strikes against the pillars of the Assad regime” as part of more ambitious strategy to support “moderate” Syrian rebels and dissuade Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

https://www.commondreams.org/headline/2013/08...

so not attacking Syria will make Iran think it can keep developing nuclear weapons??

you traitorous dupe! and you must be anti-Semitic!

Obamas Presidency We are reproducing herewith from Archives.org for the record the controversial Daily Mail article pertaining to a US sponsored intelligence operation to launch a chemical weapons attack on Syria and blame it on President Bashar al-Assad.

From the outset, the underlying objective was to provide a justification, on “humanitarian grounds”, for a military intervention directed against Syria.

The original article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-22702...

has been removed from the archives of the Daily Mail. It is nonetheless available at

http://web.archive.org/web/20130130091742/htt...

This January 2013 Daily Mail report as well as other important texts on the recent chemical weapon attack are of crucial importance.

The countless deaths of innocent civilian resulting from a false flag chemical weapons attack are being used to justify a so-called humanitarian intervention.

The Pentagon has moved warships to the Eastern Mediterranean.

The US and its allies are intent upon launching an all out war on Syria which could potentially evolve towards a regional war extending from the Eastern Mediterranean to Central Asia.

It is of crucial importance that the Truth prevail.

This US sponsored false flag chemical weapons attack is a criminal act in defiance of international law.

President obama Listen Americans Strongly Oppose U.S. Intervention In Syria
Americans strongly oppose U.S. intervention in Syria’s civil war and believe Washington should stay out of the conflict even if reports that Syria’s government used deadly chemicals to attack civilians are confirmed….

About 60 percent of Americans surveyed said the United States should not intervene in Syria’s civil war, while just 9 percent thought President Barack Obama should act.

***

[Only] 25 percent of Americans would support U.S. intervention if Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces used chemicals to attack civilians, while 46 percent would oppose it.

***

The polls suggest that so far, the growing crisis in Syria, and the emotionally wrenching pictures from an alleged chemical attack in a Damascus suburb this week, may actually be hardening many Americans’ resolve not to get involved in another conflict in the Middle East.

The results – and Reuters/Ipsos polling on the use-of-chemicals question since early June – suggest that if Obama decides to undertake military action against Assad’s regime, he will do so in the face of steady opposition from an American public wary after more than a decade of war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

***

In this week’s Reuters/Ipsos survey of 1,448 people, just 27 percent said they supported his decision to send arms to some Syrian rebels; 47 percent were opposed.

***

The most popular option among Americans: not intervening in Syria at all. That option is backed by 37 percent of Americans, according to the poll.

In other words, Americans might finally be souring on the whole idea of “humanitarian war”.

Given the substantial doubt among experts regarding the claims that the Syrian government used chemical weapons on its own people, and the desire of the American people to stay out of another war even if Syria did use such weapons, the U.S. government’s saber rattling appears to be further alienating a population already skeptical due to the NSA spying scandal and Iraq war.

Just one example:
Before President Barack Obama departed for Israel earlier this year, he took time to consult with Mohamed Magid.
White House officials have praised Magid's organization, ISNA, as a pillar of the American-Muslim community.
We know from the Muslim Brotherhood's own documents that ISNA is a Muslim Brotherhood front -- they say that explicitly in one of their 1991 secret memos. Internal Muslim Brotherhood documents, captured by the FBI, name ISNA as one of 29 American-Muslim organizations with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
They said their work in America is “a kind of grand jihad, in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within.”
Obama is a key player in this “grand jihad”.
ISNA began in 1982 in Plainfield, Ind. A founding member, Sami al Arian, was convicted in a U.S. federal court of conspiring to support the terror group, Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Adurahman Alamoudi also worked closely with ISNA for years. He's currently serving a federal prison sentence for funding al Qaeda.
ISNA's founders were even given a tour of the White House in March 2013.
In short, Obama is part of the jihad, and is working toward the destruction of the evil United States.
Perhaps that explains why Iraq devolved into chaos and the Taliban are once again a threat in Afghanistan, and Al Qaeda went from hiding in caves to taking over countries since Obama was made president.
Your Beckian links make me laugh.

And O'bama is saying it is the chatter chatter chatter---intercepted phones calls---which by the way Al Qaeda came out and said there was no such conversations before the closing of U.S. Embassies. Funny Al Qaeda usually wants to take all the glory of credit they can against the USA.
And BTW why would O'bama go after Snowden? O'bama is the biggest leaker in the World. Sure let's tell everyone we are attacking and exactly how we are going to do it--he is trying to get support from anyone...any where....it isn't happening.

This will be the day when we bring into full realization the American dream - a dream yet unfulfilled. A dream of equality of opportunity, of privilege and property widely distributed; a dream of a land where men will not take necessities from the many to give luxuries to the few; a dream of a land where men will not argue that the color of a man's skin determines the content of his character; a dream of a nation where all our gifts and resources are held not for ourselves alone, but as instruments of service for the rest of humanity; the dream of a country where every man will respect the dignity and worth of the human personality.

The head of the Center for Neighborhood Enterprises, blamed black leaders for ignoring the real problems facing blacks in America.

“Everybody has come in front of them on the bus — gays, immigrants, women, environmentalists,” said Woodson.“You never hear any talk about the conditions confronting poor blacks and poor people in general.”

Woodson criticized black leaders for mourning Trayvon Martin but not Chris Lane, the Australian man who was killed in Oklahoma by 3 teenagers, 2 of whom were black.

“If Dr. King were alive today, he would not be just talking about justice for Trayvon Martin,” said Woodson, who is black.”He would also give a prayer for this 18-year-old man, this little baby, who was shot in the face by two black kids.

From Washington Post:

“We should pray for the families of these people just as we do the family of Trayvon Martin. We should not wait for a white face before we get outraged. Evil is evil, whether it wears a white face or not.”

Recognizing that strong reaction to his words, Woodson didn’t back down.

“I’m sorry to be the skunk at the garden party, but I think if Dr. King were alive today, he would step on some of these sacred issues,” Woodson said.

At the end of his remarks, Woodson was greeted with a standing ovation.

Can a Black Man have free choice under Obama free speech or will the Klan try to Lynch him for his thoughts can he be as MLK once Dreamed or will they take away a Black mans freedom

Beginning in 2018, a 40 percent excise tax will be imposed on the value of health insurance benefits exceeding a certain threshold. The thresholds are $10,200 for individual coverage and $27,500 for family coverage (indexed to inflation). The thresholds increase for individuals in high-risk professions and for employers that have a disproportionately older population.

We have a problem.

"U.S. intelligence officials were able to confirm that chemical weapons were used in Syria last week in part because they intercepted panicked phone calls in which a Syrian defense official demanded an explanation for the attack from an official in a chemical weapons unit, according to a new report.
Foreign Policy reported Wednesday that U.S. intelligence overheard the phone calls, which helped drive the Obama administration to the unequivocal declaration this week that chemical weapons were deployed."

Has the government lied to you about foreign events recently?
Obviously, yes.
Why would anyone think, since it's obvious Obama will lie to you, the government is telling the truth now?

The problem is, the government doesn't have any credibility now. None.

The other problem is, the White House is on the side of Al Qaeda and wants to help them take over a country and acquire the chemical weapons facilities and stores there.

So what if two enemies of the United States are killing each other. If Germany went to war with Japan, would we choose a side? Or, would we just sit back and watch them kill each other?

Any involvement in Syria is a no-win situation for the US. It doesn't matter who wins. The government of Syria will remain an enemy of the United States. The only difference will be, if Al Qaeda wins, they will have chemical weapons at their disposal in their terrorist attacks here.

Black Is Back Coalition Magnifies Grassroots Forces

The betrayals and predations of the Black Misleadership Class can be overcome by out-organizing them.“Our objective is to replace that misleadership, not just to complain about it,” said Omali Yeshitela, chairman of the Black Is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations. Black is Back seeks to “provide the ability for all of these” grassroots organizations “to come together and to magnify their presence many times over,” said Yeshitela. The coalition recently held its national conference in Harlem.

Obama and the New Jim Crow

The Obama administration seems to believe it is immune from effective Black criticism.“It’s sad to see us pimped like that,”.“All of our suffering is rendered invisible because they know we will be highly protective of them.” The administration has “that kind of power, that kind of bully pulpit, but they can’t say a mumbling word about the New Jim Crow – and they’ve been in office for five years. That’s disgusting!” Dr. West spoke on the latest edition of Black Agenda TV.
