Got a problem with that?
The solution is simple. Enforce exsiting laws. Nobody believes Democrats will enforce any new law in their districts when they don't even enforce existing laws.
This gun control initiative is intended only to disarm what the Democrats see as "white America".
So now, the no government guy Dumbwaiter is calling police to stop & frisk people on the street? Or did you just want to stop those carrying guns? How do they know the gun was "stolen" ? Many black market guns are not stolen but straw purchased. Are you pushing a national data base of gun ownership?

Egypt Demolishes 805 Tunnels to Smuggle to Gaza

The Egyptian army targeted on Sunday a number of tunnels on the Rafah border in the Sinai Peninsula which were used to smuggle fuel to Gaza.

Army sources said that 80 percent of all tunnels have been demolished, amounting to about 805 tunnels.

The sources added that bulldozers were used to remove several machines dedicated to pumping fuel into the Gaza Strip through the tunnels.

They noted that the army’s efforts to demolish all smuggling tunnels are ongoing.

SUCK IT UP OBAMA SMOKERS wrote:
Smokers could face sticker shock when shopping for individual or small-group health insurance in the new state health marketplaces scheduled to open this fall, due to a controversial clause in the Affordable Care Act, or ACA, that allows insurers to penalize smokers by continuing to charge higher rates to tobacco users.
President Barack Obama's landmark health insurance reform legislation ends decades of advantageous underwriting practices by barring insurers from, among other things, limiting lifetime benefits and denying coverage due to pre-existing conditions.
But the law widely known as Obamacare also aims to discourage tobacco use, the nation's largest preventable health hazard, which kills some 443,000 Americans each year at an annual cost to the nation of $193 billion in medical care and lost productivity, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
How do you combat tobacco use without discriminating against smokers? The ACA attempts this balancing act by allowing insurers to continue their practice of charging tobacco users a so-called "smoker surcharge" but limiting it to 50 percent above the rates they charge nontobacco users, beginning in 2014.http://finance.yahoo.com/ news/obamacare-penalty-kicks-s mokers-ash-100000795.html
Will overeaters have to pay a surcharge? How about heavy drinkers or alcoholics? Drug users and addicts? Junk food addicts?

These bad choices are preventable and costly health care hazards.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is among the most widespread and costly health problems facing our nation today and can be prevented through a healthy diet, limiting saturated fats, exercise, limiting alcohol and, of course, not smoking.

But controlling our personal decisions and punishing our bad habits has to happen gradually. Boozers are probably next.

Be prepared for "no drinking allowed" and "drinking free area".

Ironically, marijuana smokers will be toking their brains out everywhere we go in more states than just Colorado and Washington eventually and will still get cheaper insurance.

Basically, nonsmokers can drink like a fish, eat like a pig and use drugs until their heart's content and not pay more for insurance coverage.

So eat up...down the hatch...pass the joint and snort another line.

Syria is suspected of having one of the most advanced chemical warfare (CW) capabilities in the Middle East. The country's initial CW capability was provided by Egypt prior to the October 1973 war against Israel. Since then, Syria appears to have acquired an indigenous capability to develop and produce chemical weapons agents, including mustard gas and sarin, and possibly also VX nerve agent. Chemical weapons agents have allegedly been produced since the 1980s at facilities located near the Hama, Homs, and Al-Safira villages in the Aleppo region. However, Syria remains dependent on foreign sources for some dual-use equipment, and for the precursor chemicals critical to CW agent production. In recent years, Iran has been identified as a supplier of technical assistance and facilities for developing and producing CW-related precursors.

For those who claim DemoKKKrats don't want to confiscate firearms:
A pair of Democratic lawmakers are proposing steep new taxes on handguns and ammunition, and tying the revenues to programs aimed at preventing gun violence.
Called the “Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act," the bill sponsored by William Pascrell, D-N.J., and Danny Davis, D-Ill., would nearly double the current 11 percent tax on handguns, while raising the levy on bullets and cartridges from 11 percent to 50 percent.
"This bill represents a major investment in the protection of our children and our communities, and reflects the long-term societal costs of gun and ammunition purchases in our country,” Pascrell said.
The lawmakers say the bill would generate $600 million per year, which would be used to fund law-enforcement and gun violence prevention.
Critics predicted defeat for the measure.
“What the anti-gun interests can’t ban, they want to tax it out of existence,” Alan Gottlieb, chairman for the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, told FoxNews.com .“It’s nothing more than confiscatory taxation.
“I doubt this bill will pass, but we will lobby against it if need be,” he added.“This is simply another shot against gun owners in this country.”
The bill would exempt all federal, state and local agencies, including police departments, from paying the tax.
The bill would also increase the transfer tax on all weapons (except antique guns) covered under the National Firearms Act (which excludes most common guns) from $200 to $500 and index to inflation and increase the transfer tax for any other weapon from $5 to $100.
The amendment will be voted upon when the House returns for the new session in the fall.
Davis, who represents a portion of Chicago which has been ravaged by gun violence in recent years, said money raised from the new taxes will go to good use.
"This legislation is a pro-active approach to reducing gun violence by using proven preventive programs which have been starved for funds until now," Davis said. "As part of a comprehensive, multidimensional strategy to reduce gun violence, this legislation closes major loopholes in tax law and lays out an equitable, long term, sustainable strategy to provide the requisite resources.”
Davis pointed proudly to the great successes in preventing gun violence in Chicago as an example of how the money would be spent.
Sounds like it's about taxing to help cover the costs of all the bloodshed and to assist law enforcement, nothing about confiscating firearms.

Besides -'Critics predicted defeat for the measure.'

You want overwhelming evidence?

The fact of Syrian use of chemical weapons should call the conventional wisdom about Iraq into question. The two countries were linked by their ruling Baathist parties and, as neighbors, engaged in trade, both legal and illegal, before the war. In 2006, Georges Sada, a former general of Saddam’s air force, detailed in his book,“Saddam’s Secrets,” how Saddam had secretly moved much of his WMD material to Syria before the U.S.-led invasion under the cover of providing relief to Syrian earthquake victims. Sada’s claim was supported by other sources as well. In 2004, a Syrian defector, Nizar Nayouf claimed that Iraqi WMDs had been hidden at three sites in Syria. Nayouf’s story appeared in the Dutch paper Der Telegraaf and is summarized on WorldThreats.com . Satellite reconnaissance photos from 2010 published in Israel’s Haaretz show Syrian military facilities in the same areas that Nayouf fingered. The same sites were identified in the 2004 book “End Game” by General Thomas McInerney and Paul Vallely as well as another former Iraqi general, Ali Ibrahim al-Tikriti.

This evidence should at least be taken into serious consideration.

So try not to be so stubborn. Or gullible. Whichever.
