You lack in comprehension, heavily! Zimmerman wasn't even charged for over a month. Had the police charged Zimmerman like they shouldn't, nobody outside the state of Florida would've even heard of Zimmerman or, Trayvon Martin. I don't care what the circumstances, if a blackman shoots &, kills anyone, he will be charged &, face a trial. The cases are identical if not for that 1 gigantic difference!

Even though Obama promised to "eliminate waste, fraud and abuse 'line by line' in the budget" in 2008.
Sounded good to get elected, I suppose.
But actual cuts might be perceived as losing votes.
Go ahead Carol, keep lying. Why would we expect anything else from you? The President cut $716 billion in overpayments, waste and fraud from Medicare. Mendacious Mitt and Lyin' Ryan accused him of cutting benefits. He's also asked Congress for the authority to consolidate and streamline various agencies to eliminate duplication of effort. Has the GOP come through with that yet? No, there too busy trying to repeal Obamacare to be concerned with that. How come it's always entitlements that benefit the poor and the middle class that are on the Republican's chopping block? How about all those tax breaks and allowances that the oil companies get? How about eliminating tax breaks for companies that move their operations overseas?

Democrats, libtards, and yes even SOME blacks are the first to start screaming about race even if race has nothing to do with it.. You know it and I know it. All you have to do is read the Topix site for a few days and it becomes quite apparent. The left could not survive without dividing people into groups and subsets!

Obama Condemns Black Students to Failing Schools

The U.S. Justice Department is suing Louisiana in New Orleans federal court to block 2014-15 vouchers for students in public school systems that are under federal desegregation orders. The first year of private school vouchers "impeded the desegregation process," the federal government says.

Thirty-four school systems could be affected, including those of Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. John the Baptist and St. Tammany parishes. Under the lawsuit, the state would be barred from assigning students in those systems to private schools unless a federal judge agreed to it. A court hearing is tentatively set for Sept. 19.

The statewide voucher program, officially called the Louisiana Scholarship Program, lets low-income students in public schools graded C, D or F attend private schools at taxpayer expense. This year, 22 of the 34 systems under desegregation orders are sending some students to private schools on vouchers.

Last year, at least 570 students were affected; the program has expanded since then. The federal petition would require the state to analyze this year's vouchers to see how they affected school desegregation.

State Education Superintendent John White took issue with the suit's primary argument and its characterization of the program. Almost all the students using vouchers are black, he said. Given that framework, "it's a little ridiculous" to argue that students' departure to voucher schools makes their home school systems less white, he said. He also thought it ironic that rules set up to combat racism were being called on to keep black students in failing schools.

More than a third of Americans believe in aliens (and only 2% would try to attack if they bumped into one)

Nearly 80% believe the White House has covered up the existence of aliens

More than a third of people in the U.S. believe aliens exist - and more than 10 per cent of the population believes they have seen an alien ship in the sky.

The study from National Geographic Channel found that 80 million Americans - or 36 per cent - are certain alien spaceship exist, and of those who believe, 79 per cent are convinced the White House has kept information about other lifeforms a secret.

If an alien knocked on the door, 22 per cent would try to befriend the alien, 15 per cent would run away, 13 per cent would lock their doors, and, reassuringly, only 2 per cent would try to inflict bodily harm.

Furthermore, 55 per cent believe there are real-life Men in Black-style agents who threaten people who spot UFOs.

Brad Dancer, senior vice president of research and digital media for National Geographic, said:'We wanted the pulse on people's opinions.

'We wanted to get a sense of how Americans view UFOs, what people believe and how mainstream pop culture may or may not be playing into their opinions on it.'

In total, 17 per cent of Americans had no belief in UFOs, 36 per cent think they do, and 48 per cent are not sure.

Turning to aliens vs politics, almost 65 per cent think Barack Obama would so a better job at an alien invasion over his opponent Mitt Romney.

On a slightly less realistic note, 21 per cent would call the Hulk, 12 per cent would call Batman, and eight per cent would call Spider-Man.

The survey was commissioned for an upcoming National Geographic Channel series, Chasing UFO

Martin Luther Kingís Dream Still Lives
In an interview with Allison Samuels, Bernice King talks about her fatherís legacy, civil rights today and the Trayvon Martin case
Letís talk about Trayvon Martin. How do you think your father would have handed the aftermath of the unarmed teenagerís death?
Obviously a childís death upsets me and the idea that so much had to be done just to get an arrest really does make the point that this country and African-Americans have to be fully aware of whatís going on around us. We have to know and understand the laws and how they pertain to us and fight those that donít support our rights. Itís also important to understand that my father would have reached out to both the Martin family and to [shooter George] Zimmerman in a situation like this. He would have extended his hand to both to begin the healing because we have to heal in order to move forward. Daddy fought for both justice and peace so he would have cared about both families and worked with both families to bring them to a better place in a very tragic situation.
George Zimmerman was found not guilty which outraged a great number of people. How do you feel?
I understood the reason behind peopleís anger since I thought evidence was there to show that Zimmerman was responsible for this young manís death. Manslaughter certainly seemed very reasonable. But with my law background Iím not sure the prosecution did all it needed to do make the case and I donít understand why. There were many issues from that night that werenít addressed and many statements about young black men that werenít rebutted by the prosecution. That was bothersome, as was the District Attorneyís upbeat demeanor after the verdict. I thought it was totally inappropriate and made you wonder if there wasnít some kind of arrangement in the end. Iíve never seen a DA so upbeat after losing such a high profile case.
