Donald Trump, Other Birthers Totally Peachy With Canadian Anchor Baby Ted Cruz To President US

You might think that after all the foofaraw and fuck-tussling over the birth certificate of Barack Hussein Obama, there’s no way in hell that the birther crowd would ever support a candidate who was indisputably born in a totally different country that is not the U.S.A., right?

Don’t be silly. Birthers are coming forward to say they just can’t get enough of Ted Cruz, who was born in Calgary, British Columbia Alberta, Canada [Doktor Zoom sucks at geography. This would worry him if "Canada" were a real country]— even though there are like three different countries named right there. But birthers are saying, nahh, man, it’s OK, because even though his father was a Cuban citizen, his mom was an American citizen, so it’s cool, he’s totes American. It’s a totally different case from that of the Kenyan Usurper, whose father was Kenyan and whose mother was an American citizen, because Ted Cruz never lived in Indonesia or ate a dog or something argle bargle beagle.

Honey bees are quickly disappearing from flowers and fields, succumbing to disease and colony collapse disorder. Now, scientists may have found part of the reason why these insects are dying; they've discovered that common agricultural chemicals, including fungicides,**could be** responsible for impairing bees' ability to fight off a potentially lethal parasite.

Honey bees are an important farm of the ecosystem, pollinating flowers that eventually fruit and produce seeds. Farmers regularly rent bees or keep bees of their own in order to help pollinate crops and produce higher yields. Over the years, though, these insects have begun to disappear. In fact, researchers found that beekeepers lost 31 percent of their colonies in late 2012 and early 2013. That's roughly double of what's considered to be acceptable in terms of losses, according to Wired.

In order to see what might be affecting these bees, researchers collected pollen from honey bee hives in fields that ranged from Delaware to Maine. They then analyzed the samples to find out which flowering plants were the bees' main pollen sources and what agricultural chemicals were being introduced into the pollen and, consequently, the honey. In addition, the scientists fed pesticide-laden pollen samples to healthy bees and then tested them for their ability to resist infection with Nosema ceranae. This parasite affects adult honey bees and has been linked to the lethal colony collapse disorder.

In the end, the researchers found that the pollen samples contained 9 different agricultural chemicals. These included fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and miticides. In addition, they discovered that sublethal levels of multiple agricultural chemicals were present in every sample; in fact, one contained as many as 21 different pesticides. The most prevalent of these were the fungicide chlorothalonil and the insecticide fluvalinate.

They didn't just find these chemicals present in the honey, though. The researchers found that bees fed pollen samples containing chlorothonatil were nearly three times more likely to be infected by the deadly parasite Nosema than bees that were not exposed to these chemicals. This is a huge finding in terms of determining exactly what may be harming these insects.

"We don't think of fungicides as having a negative effect on bees, because they're not designed to kill insects," said Dennis vanEngelsdorp, one of the researchers, in a news release. Federal regulations restrict the use of insecticides while bees are foraging, but that isn't the case with fungicides. "But there are no such regulations on fungicides, so you'll often see fungicide applications going on while bees are foraging on the crop. This finding suggests that we have to reconsider that policy."

Tonto will be frank here, marriage is an antiquated institution fraught with opportunities for frustration and boredom. Anyone who tells you otherwise has never met a willing man or woman better looking and happier to see them than you are. Date night and champagne notwithstanding, guys can only absorb so many Jennifer Anniston movies, trust me on this. At some point between 50 First Dates and Pride and Prejudice a thought is going to pop unbidden into his or her head and he or she will suddenly be remembering what it feels like to undress a person you just met and fell in love with and that's that for the wedding vows. To do or be otherwise is to deny your essential nature. Just watch your back.

Not just a gun. The three chimps were in a car (victim was walking), and they approached him from behind and shot him in the back in a cowardly surprise attack (as if 3 on 1 in a car with a gun against an unarmed pedestrian isnt enough of an advantage).
That's the chimp method, tried-and-true. The trigger gibbon WILL get the needle.....
I'm upset that you aren't trying to understand how traumatizing it is to do a drive-by shooting and you aren't trying to understand their childhoods. And meanwhile, we need more gun control at gun shows, because obviously these 3 hoodie wearers belong to the NRA and frequent gun shows. I'll bet they are even Tea Partiers.

So, people in Australia are saying to boycott America and turning their backs on America would help send a stern message about the need for tighter gun control.

"Tourists thinking of going to the USA should think twice,'' Mr. Fischer said.

"This is the bitter harvest and legacy of the policies of the NRA that even blocked background checks for people buying guns at gunshows.

"People should take this into account before going to the United States.

"I am deeply angry about this because of the callous attitude of the three teenagers (but) it's a sign of the proliferation of guns on the ground in the USA.

"There is a gun for almost every American.''

It comes as Duncan Police Chief Danny Ford said he had secured the confession of the 17-year-old who summoned investigators to his jail cell and claimed he and the younger boys were bored "so they decided to kill somebody".

"He said he was the driver of the car," Chief Ford said.

"They saw Christopher jog by the house they were at, they chose him to be the target, they got in the car, drove up behind him and shot him in the back.

"He said the 16-year-old fired the shot."

Now, I'll bet they were envious that the guy they shot wasn't ugly, could read cursive, knew the identity of his father, didn't wear a hoodie, was likely to be successful in life and his pants weren't falling down as he ran.

If Obama had a son, he'd look just like the shooters.

When is President Obama's televised speech on this murder?

You're the monkey's that refused to be a part of evolution. Kinda like the monkey's of today, if you believe in evolution of course. Why are there still monkey's if humans evolved from monkey's ? You have to tell me why some of your species never evolved!

A new report by the Pew Center on the States finds that more than 1.8 million dead people are currently registered to vote, and 24 million registrations are either invalid or inaccurate.

Supposedly, there's little evidence that this has led to widespread voter fraud but it has raised concerns that the system is vulnerable.

Ben Skupien, a registered voter who now lives in Northern Virginia, is pretty typical. He has moved repeatedly over the years and says he's probably registered to vote in about a half-dozen states.

http://www.npr.org/2012/02/14/146827471/study...

"Democrats and Republicans both agree that voter registration lists across the country are a mess."

Considering how well the government manages to oversee welfare fraud and is on top of overseeing veterans' benefits, I can't see a problem here with voter fraud.

Anyone see a problem?

Three African-American Thrill Killers Escape Death Penalty

Three teenage suspects accused of gunning down an Australian student in Oklahoma for the "fun of it," according to police, are expected to face first-degree murder charges in court today.

Christopher Lane, 22, who was visiting the U.S. on a baseball scholarship at East Central University, was jogging along a road in Duncan, Okla., after visiting his girlfriend on Friday when he was shot in the back, allegedly by the teens.

A woman tried CPR and paramedics arrived on scene, but Lane was pronounced dead an hour later.

"He went by a residence where these three boys were, they picked him as a target, they went out and got in a vehicle and followed him," Duncan Police Department Chief Danny Ford told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, according to AFP.

"[They] came up from behind and basically shot him in the back with a small caliber weapon, then sped away," Ford added.

Richard Rhodes, a builder who discovered Lane lying face down, said he was targeted with a .22 caliber revolver.

Police tracked the teens down using surveillance video from a business that is near the shooting scene, KOCO reports.

If the three teenagers arrested are charged with first-degree murder and convicted, they face a maximum sentence of life in prison. The teens, ages 15, 16 and 17, can be tried as adults, but they can't face the death penalty since they are under the age of 18, a spokesperson for District Attorney Jason Hicks told the Sydney Morning Herald.

The teens have not been identified by police and remain in custody at Stephens County Jail in Duncan. They are expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.

Police revealed Sunday that one of the teens confessed to the crime and said he did it for the “fun of it,” KOCO reports.

"The boy who has talked to us said,'We were bored and didn't have anything to do, so we decided to kill somebody,'" Ford told the Associated Press.

On one of the alleged killer's Facebook pages, investigators found the message: "Bang. Two drops in two hours," Sky News reports.

"I think they were on a killing spree. We would have had more bodies that night if we didn't get them,” Ford said in an interview with the Australian Associated Press.

Ford wouldn't say how many times Christopher Lane was shot. Autopsy results are pending.

The mother of the 16-year-old accused in the killing said her son and his two friends were part of a “wannabe gang,” but insisted that he is not a killer, KOCO reports.

The father of the 15-year-old also denied his son had a role in Lane’s death, but said the boy had run-ins with the law before, News.com .au reports.

Since you're obviously the slow student in the class, I'll post this again.

Now pay attention this time.

The average global temperature has gone down, not up, in recent years. The average global temperatures dropped since at least 2002. The temperature has decreased by 0.74°F (0.39°C) since January 24, 2006.

January 2008 capped a 12 month period of global temperature drops on all of the major well respected indicators. HadCRUT, RSS, UAH, and GISS global temperature sets all show sharp drops in the last year.

Did you not learn research skills in school either? Maybe that's the problem.

As far as your constant drip, drip, drip about something that doesn't even matter anymore or makes any difference whatsoever in the whole scheme of things, it only proves you dwell on the insignificant and it's all you've got.
