As long as the black community refuses to address the high percentage of fatherless homes that result in a gross lack of supervision and negligence to put the importance of an education first, there will never be an end to young black men joining gangs and resorting to drugs and crime or young black women having children out of wedlock to be eligible for more welfare.<quoted text>"CHICAGO -- Chicago police say the city has seen a significant drop in the number of homicides and shootings during the first six months of 2013.
The department said Monday that there have been 184 homicides this year, 29 percent fewer than the 260 homicides during the same period in 2012.
The number is the lowest for the time period since 1965, police say. Chicago saw 500 homicides total in 2012."
As long as black youths are stuck in the worst schools in the country and parents are denied a school choice, it's not going to change. At least democrats will keep getting their votes - the "victimized".
Is that what you consider caring about the black community?
Isn't it past time black leaders spoke up and sent a better message?
Isn't it past time democrats supported a voucher system and brought back incentives to manufacturers and more jobs?
For what possible reason would they continue to refuse to do both?
