Try transferring community college credits to an Ivy League school.

Cornell's private schools won't accept credit from their own state-supported schools unless the tuition difference is paid.

V. C. Summer Unit 2 is the first new nuclear plant in the US to start construction in 30 years and is barely underway. Galt has been to the site many times.

Vogtle 3 also started limited construction this year.

Summer 3 and Vogtle 4 have not started construction.

Watts Bar 2 has been under construction for more than 30 years and is not a "new" unit.

A start is better than nothing, but other plants (Seabrook and Shoreham) have been constructed and never allowed to operate. Time will tell.

Okay, please note *the source*- it sometimes eludes you.

(CNBC) Get ready for the Internal Revenue Service to play a dominant role in health care. When Obamacare takes full effect next year, the agency will enforce most of the laws involved in the reformóeven deciding who gets included in the health-care mandate.

"It's also going to help manage who might get health care," said Paul Hamburger, a partner and employee benefits lawyer at Proskauer.

Michele Bachmann says the IRS is "going to be in charge of our health care"

Dan Kotman, a spokesman for Bachmann, explained her comment by saying that "the Supreme Court ruled that Obamacare only meets the constitutionality standard as a tax, and the entity in the United States that enforces tax policy is the IRS. If you donít comply with Obamacareís individual mandate, you will be answering to the IRS. That is clearly the context sheís talking within because she had just said,ĎThe IRS, Greta, is the chief enforcer of Obamacare.í"

But several health policy experts agreed thatís not the same as the IRS being "in charge of our health care."

William McBride, an economist with the business-backed Tax Foundation, said the IRS has been tasked with "a tremendous amount" and that the agency is in "uncharted territory," but he added that he doubts the IRS "will effectively control much of anything related to health care."

Other health policy specialists were even more blunt. "Not accurate," said Gail Wilensky, who headed Medicare and Medicaid under President George H.W. Bush and who is now a health policy consultant. Itís a "ludicrous statement," said Jonathan Oberlander, professor of social medicine and health policy and management at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Our ruling

Bachmann said the IRS is "going to be in charge of our health care." The IRS does play a number of key roles under the health care law, but itís wrong to say it would "be in charge" of any Americanís health care. The IRS wonít oversee interactions between doctors and patients, nor will it play any more of a role than confirming that exchange purchasers qualify for subsidies. Even within the government, HHS plays a much bigger role. We rate Bachmannís claim False.

If you'd been paying attention ACA is supposed to bring down cost, that was its purpose. I don't think it will though overall, premiums may be lower.
Where you're screwed up is ACA doesn't change the fact that providers will still be private, and for the most part, for-profit providers. If you have the money you can get anything done you want with no waiting. Canada recently re-opened its private sector.
You just want the government to pay all your bills.
Pretty sure you're in for a big surprise - which Pelosi is probably getting hoarse saying by now.

An Egyptian official said that the army rigged the presidential elections in June 2012, fearing widespread riots should the Muslim Brotherhoodís candidate, Mohamed Morsi, lose the race.
According to the source, who asked to remain anonymous, Ahmed Shafik, the former air force commander and former president Hosni Mubarakís last prime minister, actually won the race by a narrow margin. But the army generals ó wanting to ensure that law and order would be upheld following the elections ó feared that if Morsi was defeated, the Muslim Brotherhood would refuse to recognize the results and would end up conducting themselves just as they are now.
The official results, 51.73 percent for Morsi and 48.27% for Shafik, were almost the exact reversal of what actually happened at the polls. After the results were published, we barely heard any calls for protest or opposition among the secular-liberals, while on the religious side ó loyal either to the Muslim Brotherhood or the Salafi parties ó voters were happy with their achievement.
Considering that the election that Obama and McCain are using as their default argument was of dubious legality and was only achieved through another populist-military coup against Mubarak, they were just tampering with a highly tampered election.
*The irony then would be that the election that O'bama is using as the basis for Morsiís legitimacy was no more legitimate than his removal from power. And thatís typical for the region. The former obviously dismantles Obama's case to uphold the results of the election and possibly return Morsi to power. That is dead on arrival, but if it can be proved that O'bama made such an agreement with Morsi and the Moslem Brotherhood (not Egypt), this would be something bigger than Benghazi.
