<quoted text>Define your grief. What 'negative direction' are you talking about? I find it a positive direction to bring our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan and show grave caution before getting us involved too deeply in any other Middle East conflicts like in Syria's civil war and Egypt's political turmoil from its transition from a highly -centralized military dictatorship to a parliamentary-type democratic government.
Permanent economic near-recession in the US coupled with widespread Islamic terrorism is a negative direction.

You're only fooling yourself if you think there have been notable strides in strengthening the economy and job growth in the past four years. Obamacare is weighing it down.
Look at any one of these graphs from the Treasury Department and make that argument.

Here, let me help you out with that reading comprehension difficulty you're having. The headline from your link:

"Despite the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and a series of shocks in it aftermath, the economy has gradually strengthened since mid-2009, though more work remains."

Ok, now let's learn what a "quagmire" is:

Definition of QUAGMIRE

1
: soft miry land that shakes or yields under the foot
2
: a difficult, precarious, or entrapping position : predicament

I didn't say it was all roses, there's still too much government interference IMO and when QEIII stops we will see another correction though it won't be on nearly the scale of the last collapse. The upside is that if interest rates are allowed to rise the incentive to lend will return which will fuel the recovery in a healthy way (provided lenders learned their lesson).

Last week, Federal court ordered the NRC to complete its licensing review for Yucca Mountain.
As usual, your partisanship obscures reality, in '09-'10 Obama put up $30 billion in loan guarantees for new construction.
How many new plants are actually under construction?

$30 billion is inadequate.

Meanwhile, the government effectively caused the closing of San Onofre by refusing to allow the plant to operate at reduced power.

Was Obama rodeo mask just a case of clowning around?
Question: If a black person wears a George W. Bush mask, is he racist? The next logical question answers the first: What if the clown wears a Bush mask at an event attended primarily by blacks and invites the crowd to cheer for the bulls?
This unlikely event would feel offensive for the same reasons the recent clown event did. The Missouri rodeo audience was mostly white and the masked man in the ring was depicting a black man. This changes everything we think about humor, about clowns and about good old-fashioned fun.
Just as N-jokes are no longer funny to almost anyone, placing a black man in the arena like an unarmed gladiator isn’t amusing. As much as we aspire to racial harmony, we have centuries of history to overcome, including the mob-inspired lynching of black men, and this is what so many saw in the clown skit. Memory conquers humor.
....I am the last person who would suggest that irreverence be censored or punished — or that clowns be sensitized. The excessively reverent are far scarier to me than those who would die laughing. Political satire is, in fact, a public service inasmuch as it channels aggression that otherwise might find bloody expression.
But a civil society should find reprehensible even mock violence against a president, especially one who belongs to a minority that was once targeted for state-sanctioned violence.

The republicans care about the only system that will work, successful capitalism, hard work, initiative, self reliance, 2 parent families, education, less crime, real secure borders, things the dems abhor. Obamacare is another massive, wasteful failure in the making.
The proof?
Why it's everywhere, exemptions for hundreds of groups , many unions turning against it, congressional staffers being subsidized by the taxpayers, etc.
Open your eyes, Ostrich.
Where is that plan? Show me what Republicans did to stop the spiraling costs of health insurance & healthcare, to make sure everyone had access?

Border is more secure today that under Bush.

Republicans only believe in hard wrk if it includes less pay & fewer benefits.

Exemptions were given to allow more time. Some were under long term contracts.

When Congressmen & their staff utilize the exchanges, they will be covered by the federal government at the same rate they are now. Its called a benefit for working.

Got anymore baloney?

Not going to happen anytime soon. Speech recognition in medical transcription is the norm now but it's far from perfected. In fact, it requires more work, time and focus to correct.
Technology will have to learn how to decipher foreign accents and the many nuances in each physicians' style of dictating. It still requires transcriptionists' experience and knowledge to transcribe.
Tech is moving way faster than you think. Why not have people with strong accents transcribe in their native dialect then translate the document into whichever language you want. It'll be here soon if it isn't already.

You have no answer as to why people that preach less gov't, are the ones milking it dry but, your ignorance won't allow you to reevaluate your thought process!
The three blackest states are Mississippi (37%), Louisiana (32%), and Georgia (30.5%).

By contrast, California is only 6.2% black.

Not necessary. If a Democrat has a concern he contacts his representative via phone or email. Republicans have the exclusive right to beat their chests and whine/rant in public.
Your representative will rarely, if ever, talk to you on the phone or read your email. But he will hear your message at a town hall meeting.

Bullshit. Representatives, either directly or via their staff, are KEENLY aware of feedback from their constituents delivered through email or phone calls. This gives them a much better handle on their base then a loud mouth chest beater at a town hall meeting. Republicans are killing their party by letting the tail wag the dog.

as was pointed out earlier.... a black man in a Bush mask in front a crowd of black people who are cheering on the bull wouldn't be racist?

but everyone knows that anyone in a Bush mask is just going for laughs.

Okay, & that may explain those states but what about the other states Utah, the Dakota's, Washington, Oregon etc... predominately white & all fall in the category of receiving more than they put in. You shot your own theory down trying to name states &, bolstered mine! Just admit your wrongs instead of wallowing in your own shit.

Show me Davey Boie where Republicans or Demorats for that matter have any say legally or otherwise on what is charged for a service in private industry? The border is still as pourous as it was under President Bush, nothing has changed. The Demorats need voters, and little or no enforcement benefits them.

Hillary would have done a better job.
She knew another version of her own health care reform but with a different name which was rejected by both democrats and republicans shouldn't have come before jobs and the economy as a priority after the bottom fell out.
She wouldn't have dragged corrupt Chicago politicians to D.C. who went about not letting a good crisis go to waste for personal and political gain.
Hillary at least knew the score and would have led the country in our best interests instead of hers.
