You have to be certified with a two-year college program or through an accredited online or correspondence school.
It takes another two years on the job to hone that skill. To work from home with a reputable transcription company, you have to have at least two years experience in a clinic or hospital and pass a fairly stringent test.
Maybe you're implying medical transcriptionists are outsourced by transcription companies outside the USA?
What exactly are you implying if not insulting the profession?
