History lesson for today...
"On Monday, August 6, 1945, the nuclear weapon Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima by the crew of the American B-29 bomber Enola Gay, directly killing an estimated 80,000 people. By the end of the year, injury and radiation brought total casualties to 90,000-140,000. Approximately 69% of the city's buildings were completely destroyed, and 6.6% severely damaged."

<quoted text>"At a time when the Republican Party’s image is at a historic low, 62% of the public says the GOP is out of touch with the American people, 56% think it is not open to change and 52% say the party is too extreme."
This is their problem from top to bottom. The t-p especially is trying to sell Americans a bill of goods that don't exist, doesn't benefit them, or only benefits a few.
They're still very much viewed as obstructionist to this day, and it doesn't appear they want to change or make any effort to change that perception anytime soon.
From your link also: The GOP also gets high marks from independents and Democrats for having strong principles. Fully 62% of independents say the Republican Party has strong principles, the most positive measure for any party trait tested. Even about half of Democrats (52%) say the Republican Party has strong principles.

Your link was a poll from February--a lot has changed since then squatter.

I posted it to emphasize Wells Fargo's hand in sending money to Mexico. They still participate in undermining the U.S economy with a nod from Obama and even got a bailout that they didn't really need.

Liberals insist on teaching us...

Geography...
"◾One in 10 students in 8th grade could identify the reason early Great Plains settlers built sod houses.

◾Among 12th graders, 59 percent understood that developing countries’ exports are often limited to agricultural products and raw materials rather than manufactured or high-technology products.

◾Only 4 percent of 8th graders could give two reasons that a graph showed rising urban population and shrinking rural population in the United States over time."

Liberals want all the illegals they can get across the border...

"The National Geographic–Roper 2002 Global Geographic Literacy Survey polled more than 3,000 18- to 24-year-olds in Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Sweden and the United States.

Sweden scored highest; Mexico, lowest. The U.S. was next to last."
