Republican Led Texas Is a National Role Model For All The Wrong Reasons
It is natural for citizens to have affinity for their home country whether they are patriotic or not, but it is often curious why they take pride in a nation that treats its least fortunate citizens with contempt a. For a glimpse into the deplorable conditions in this country if Republicans were in charge there is a prime example that should serve as a warning that no matter how dreadful America is as a nation, it is nothing near as bad as Texas. It is true that Texas is a large state and its prideful and devoted residents are wont to warn the rest of the nation “not to mess with Texas” and claim it is number one, but the areas the state leads the nation in are as embarrassing as those that put it at the bottom of some very pathetic categories. However, the sad state of affairs in Texas are prime examples of Republicans’ intent for America that they doubtless would be proud of regardless the damaging effects on the people.
There are a significant number of Texans who yearn to secede from the Union and form their own republic, and there is likely an equal number of Americans willing to let the state leave and become the banana republic state Republicans are attempting to create. A banana republic typically has stratified social classes, including a large impoverished working class and a ruling plutocracy that comprises the elites of business and politics who control and exploit their citizens’ social and economic plight. It makes sense that Texas Republicans are proud of their handiwork because they do rank at or near the top of several categories near and dear to conservatives, and possibly they are just as pleased at their ranking at or near the bottom of an equal number of areas endemic to conservative policies.
Texans are prone to boast the superiority of their education system because they do have the nation’s second highest public school enrollment, but they also have the lowest percent of their population (25 and older) with a high school diploma coming in at 50th in the nation. In this one area Texas Republicans are the model national Republicans are aching to follow because Texas’ low graduation rate reflects their paltry investment (49) in education spending and their children’s futures. Republicans in Congress have made slashing education spending a key component of their austerity policy and doubtless their goal is following Texas Republicans’ lead to produce a quarter of the population without a basic high school education. It is not cruel enough for Republicans to keep Texans uneducated, so they are going out of their way to keep their residents sick as well.
....If Americans want a vision of a libertarian paradise Republicans are desperate to create, there are several Republican-controlled states that serve as a warning that the conservative vision for America is a nation of poor, uneducated, sick, and poverty-ridden citizens struggling to survive. Texas is a prime example because they encapsulate every devastating policy national Republicans are desperate to enact. There is less and less to be proud of in America based on the way it treats its least fortunate citizens, but as horrendous as the nation is as a whole, it pales in comparison to the cold-bloodedness and cruelty Texas Republicans are inflicting on its own residents. It is obvious that when they say “don’t mess with Texas,” Republicans mean do not upset the stellar model of inhumanity congressional Republicans intend following to create a nation as bad off as the state of Texas.
The last remaining hurdle to Texas secession is they haven't figured out how to fit "Republico de Tejas" onto the license plates.

Victim Disarmament Zone: Apartment Management Firm Prohibits Residents From Owning Firearms and Weapons

Imagine you’ve been living in your home or apartment for several years. You’re an avid hunter, sports shooter, or simply someone who wants to protect their family should an individual with criminal intent coming breaking down your door. You own a handgun, rifle, crossbow, or other self defense weapon.

All of a sudden you receive a memo from your management company or Homeowners Association advising you of a policy change that you can no longer own a weapon if you live on the property. As an American you’d likely be surprised at such a note in your mailbox, especially considering that the fundamental law of the land gives you the right to own a firearm or weapon for self defense.

But this is exactly what happened to tenants of the Oakwood apartment complex in Castle Rock, Colorado .

Yes thee was moron, it was called the Make Work Pay tax credit which was a 6.2% tax credit given to working middle class Americans. Was it meant to be permanent? No, but neither were the Bush tax cuts.
You're an idiot Galt.
Everyone in Illinois got screwed, you know O'bama's home state? When O'bama gave the 6.2 so called tax credit the liberal governor at the very same time raised the income tax 66% and no it was not meant to permanent but it is going to be now. So now only did they not get a tax cut they took a huge hit. No wonder Illinois is the worst state in the country. O'bama cut his teeth on the corruption of Illinois and screwing the tax payer.

Well, he is. The Magic Negro can't get rational American adults convinced to fall for Obamacare so he's going into grade schools and high schools using OUR money to promote his boondoggle amongst young minds of mush.

This tactic is as old as the hills. Stalin used it. Hitler used it, Castro, Mao and just about every marxist/socialist promoter on the planet has used it and now the Azzhole-In-Chief is doing it.

You're an elite from the government and labor unions?

Just kidding. I agree that congress and the president should be included in Obamacare. It would be the best healthcare in history.

Are you saying that union members are exempt because they already have their own insurance? Most working people fall into that category both in the private sector and public employees.

That demonstrates the far degree of unfitness as not being with the reality aspects of these new times as what should be doing in the rules and appropriateness when Obama says he has 'no patience' for Russia's anti-gay stance

It is a world of diversities.
It is ridiculous to say to Russia to do whatever related to LGBT in the Sochi Olympics.

NO conference of G-8, G-20 would make sense to deal with issues of gay marriage, abortion, etc., TO SAY that every country must be alike on these issues because the planet is the policy of diversities.

Just US having gay marriage by even shuffling out willing of coalition in Iraq, does not mean it has to say to Russia to do the same.

Each country has its own policy regarding gay marriage and other matters, which might mean such countries' attempt to tell Russia to do so could be a violation.

People have different ideology, value, beliefs, cultures and so on worldwide, that no people have to agree but people can endorse AS WELL AS THEY LIKE IT.

REGARDING SOCHI OLYMPICS, no One can use gay stands to get mixed up on calling , as if is to make the whole world wanting other countries' policies to have gay marriage with no eligibility of votes.

When that says it is failure to do so to make gay issue as not applicable, the diversities in regard to this world aspects are the ways of global people's rights to not have gay marriage for example, in order to ramify the right direction for all people on the planet.

HOWEVER, SOCHI OLYMPICS should TREAT ALL PEOPLE AS EQUAL, regardless if they are gay or not, during Olympic competition period. No one is required to tell him/her as being gay. Yet if one is disclosed being gay, he/she would be treated as equal, and won't be subject to fines and penalties, for there is not to be the voicing to Russia that should be doing what about gays, because it is just a sports game competition and none of others' business.

The only arena if they want to do is to take it to G-20, or G-8 meetings, and go from there, which may also or may not be rejected. Still, nobody gets his/her own way in a world of policy of diversities, even they come up with willing of the coalition, or make issues on gay stands in any meeting as that is really too odd. As was wrongful and war crime resulted, committed by Bush as the world says, they can't do any more willing of the coalition again, what else is so confused to Obama?

It has to remind people that it is the focus of sports games competition, while it is definitely not the destination of gay camp or resort.
Stable and rational people must understand this --do not make ridiculous and illogical gambits of useless view to stand in the way of the International Olympic spirits in the Sochi Olympics for all the needs of global public.

That says much of the coming-up with the wrong business of some confused people like Obama.

That's equivocating, the payroll tax cut was a direct cut for the middle class and it was a reduction in rates in that a lower percentage was deducted.
Temporary payroll tax cuts mean slightly higher spending for those who live paycheck-to-paycheck, but do not change the psychology of the real earners.
