Congress should not be in session for more than 60 days each year.

Members should go home and get a real job the other ten months.

There will be a different US Senate in 2015.

Most economists would disagree with you in that minimum wage hikes fuel inflation which quickly wipes out the last hike fueling demands for another hike thus perpetuating the inflationary spiral.
In 2009 we were told that $6.55/hr was not a living wage and that it had to be raised so it was raised (federal) to $7.25. Now I've heard the very same people say that $7.25/hr is not a living wage and it must be raised to $12/hr. In a couple of years or less the same people will tell us that $12/hr is not a living wage and they'll be absolutely correct because of the inflation caused by raising it to $12/hr in the first place. Meanwhile, what that does to non-minimum wage earners is erode our own income and the value of our property which disincentivises the economy.
Your analysis, although absolutely correct, classifies you as a greedy pig unwilling to share with others and unwilling to bust your ass without monetary incentive.

Shame on you.

Those burger flippers deserve just as much money as you nuclear nerds.

Horseshit.
CEO wages and benefits are a negligible fraction of the cost of production in a major corporation.
McDonald's annual revenue is $27.56 billion.
The CEO of McDonald's earns $8.75 million, or 0.03% of total revenue.
If the CEO of McDonald's received no salary, each of the company's 1,800,000 employees could receive an extra $4.86 per year, or 0.2 cents per hour.
And without management, the employees would have no jobs.
Unlike the government, businesses require competent leaders.

Turns out there's a Navy Seal who's been breaking into houses here about, not that big a surprise when you think about it. I followed him these last two nights and, sure enough he's a criminal. Know what I did? I nailed him to a fence and then cut his dick and balls off and stuck them into his mouth, he resisted but that as pointless. So i nailed him to a fence in the alley. He resisted this. So much for Navy Seals. Let you come to me. Come to me hero. Come to me... Like all american heroes they are cowards. I kill cowards. I kill americans.
Well well well, babbling to yourself as usual here.

Here's what I think REALLY happened:

You saw a cute fudge-packer sashaying down the sidewalk in front of your skidrow apartment. You followed him into an alley, negotiated briefly, paid him, and then tossed his salad.

The primary opposition to free trade is from labor unions.
Free trade is a large part of why Detroit is in such bad shape.

Unions have made it possible for working folk to get fair wages, benefits and good working conditions. They speak for those that would be oppressed by their employers. Ask a police officer or fireman.

Republicans want Islamists released
Two U.S. senators urged Egypt’s military-backed government to release detained members of the Muslim Brotherhood before starting negotiations with the group, warning of worsening relations “if Egypt is not moving to democracy.”
But Egypt’s interim presidency denounced “foreign pressure” in a sign of its growing impatience with international mediations.
Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham spoke after meeting with top military and civilian leaders in Cairo as part of a flurry of international efforts to resolve a standoff between the government and supporters of the ousted president, Mohammed Morsi.

Actually the debt is up 60% over the $9.3 trillion Bush left.
Percentagewise that's still nothing compared to Reagan/HW Bush's quadrupling the debt and W. Bush's doubling of it.
There's still time though, its not likely but the possibility exists that he could tie W. Bush with an $18.6 trillion debt when he leaves office.
Its currently over $15 trillion.
Currently $16.7 trillion.

She will be there even if in a wheelchair, but she won't need a sympathy vote she will win in a landslide. Mainly because the Republicans are a party in self destruct mode.

So was the cops that was dispatched to the SF bank robbers, armed with Ak-47s &, laced head to feet in Kevlar overpaid? Or those that died on 9/11, in Boston &, every other shootout across the states, assassination attempt or, bomb plot. Many of which were spoiled &, saved thousands of lives. Life is invaluable &, they risk their on a daily. No different than the armed services in some cities across America. I will say, the war on terror was a jooks, which created Task Force departments across the country, all was /is unnecessary. Trillions of taxpayer's dollars wasted pretending to combat 1 of America's biggest money makers. millions of lives lost &, countless prison time, knowing full well, they never wanted to stop the drug epidemic. There's a big damned difference between being adversarial and being out and out obstructive dimwit. Let's consider this quote "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Considering that the House Republicans have put forth this useless legislation that has zero chance of going anywhere we can come to the conclusion that they're totally off the wall crazy.
How is Obamacare Communistic moron? People still get their coverage from private sector companies and still go to private sector hospitals and see private sector health providers. It's less radical than a proposal made by Richard Nixon and almost identical to one put forth by Bob Dole. An almost identical system was signed into law by Mitt Romney as Governor of Massachusetts. Hell, the whole thing including the individual mandate, insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion were built on a blueprint drawn by the Heritage Foundation.
As for getting a job, I've spent the better part of half a century in the work force starting with my first job in high school. I've earned my retirement. So GFY.
