Below is what I posted. According to your numbers the debt has increased 60% during Obama's tenure. What a coincidence! Your other numbers aren't measuring the same thing mine are.

Actually the debt is up 60% over the $9.3 trillion Bush left.
Percentagewise that's still nothing compared to Reagan/HW Bush's quadrupling the debt and W. Bush's doubling of it.
There's still time though, its not likely but the possibility exists that he could tie W. Bush with an $18.6 trillion debt when he leaves office.
Its currently over $15 trillion.

O'bama runs around telling Americans that Benghazi is a phony scandal and yet: Prosecutors have filed the first charges in the Benghazi terror attack on the U.S. diplomatic post against militia leader Ahmed Khattalah.
Nearly a year after the death of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens was killed, CNN is reporting that a indictment under seal has been filed against Khattalah.

I won't let a lyin' sack like you whine about Democratic spending while ignoring Republican spending.
What don't you get?
Deficit spending is deficit spending it doesn't matter which party is doing it because they both do it equally.
No objection here, both parties have discovered the art of buying votes with taxpayer money.

The Socialist/Democrats, however, have elevated it to an art form. The payoff of 800 billion to state gubbermint union retirement funds a few years ago was a master stroke. Bailing out the UAW was nice too.

I take it from your post that you don't think buying votes is a good idea. Good. So this means you are against Obamacare, rampant food stamp spending, etc.?

What are you going to do about it? Stop voting for the S/D's? It's a choice between excessive spending (GOP) and absurdly excessive spending (S/D).

Congressman Ted Yoho and the Trivialization of Racism

Ted Yoho thinks a tanning tax is racist. Never mind that the tax applies to anyone who enters a tanning salon, regardless of race. Never mind that the tax, like a cigarette tax, is a user tax imposed upon a specific behavior that assumes unnecessary health risks. Never mind that the tax would fund a health care system that could in return be used to pay for the very skin cancer treatments tanning salon patrons might require later in life, as a result of their choice to expose themselves to excess radiation. To Ted Yoho, the tax is racist because Congressman Yoho believes in white victimhood, and in his mind it is so unfair that the tanning bed tax might disproportionately burden people who look like him. Boo hoo.

It would be easy to dismiss Yoho’s comments as simply the product of his manifest and monumental stupidity, but unfortunately his claims of being oppressed by “Obama’s racism” is an all too familiar chorus from today’s Republican right-wing. By trivializing racism, and by reversing the role of victim and oppressor, the Republicans are engaged in an active campaign to undermine efforts to address real racism in this country and to perpetuate the racial inequality that continues to exist. If they can reduce our conceptualization of racism to petty injustices perpetrated against people of privilege, they can by extension attempt to discredit all claims of racism by trivializing the very definition of the term.

What Republicans would like us to overlook is that real racism is institutionalized and its effects are far more pervasive and damaging than a mere inconvenience like paying a tanning tax. Institutionalized racism affects housing practices, income levels, labor market discrimination, incarceration rates, educational opportunities and health care accessibility, all of which, taken together are not matters of convenience but can literally be matters of life and death.

....In nearly every aspect of life, institutional racism creates structural barriers that have a negative impact on the life chances of people of color. This reality is apparently unrecognized by Congressman Yoho, who instead casts Obama as a racist because of a tax on tanning beds. With such a tone deaf understanding of racism, it is no wonder that the GOP is having a hard time attracting minority voters. The fact that Republican voices in Congress are railing against “racism against whites” because of a small tax on tanning beds instead of addressing the very real problem of systemic structural racism that affects people of color daily, is symptomatic of the problems inherent within a political party that has become so insular and so white that they simply cannot comprehend what real racism looks like.

and now because i'm pointing out that conservatives have a problem with racism i'll be called a racist.

so be it. for as long as i have reason to point out right wing racism i'll just have to to be a racist. at least i have something in common with you wingnuts.

the other backlash will be a some uber-racist posting stories about black crime.

you do know that if every crime story that concerned a white person started with 'White Person Commits....' we'd be reading 6 times more of those then we would the other. there's a very good reason all you racist wingnuts need to talk about per capita.

Sorry, Republicans, but another one of your tough talking anti-Obama heroes has bitten the dust.

Brewer’s office alerted the local media yesterday that she was going to be meeting Obama at the airport in order to hit him up for some disaster relief funds.

As The New York Daily News put it,“President Obama returned to the Wild West on Tuesday and this time around, he got a warm welcome from Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.” It’s looks like Jan Brewer has got herself a new best friend.

Gov. Brewer needs Obama to declare the Yarnell Hill fire a federal disaster. If the president declares the fire a federal disaster, then the Brewer can get her hands on federal disaster relief funds.

Here is the way this works for red state Republicans. Obama is evil and ruining the country. Their states are doing well because they’ve stuck to conservative values and done it all on their own. However, once something goes wrong in their state and they need federal money, all of the sudden, Barack isn’t such a bad guy.

Republicans talk tough and issue harshly worded statements, but the hypocrisy revealed by their own behavior is difficult to miss. A less compassionate president might hold a grudge and tell Brewer to pull herself up by her own bootstraps, but that’s not Obama.

Jan Brewer is another in a long line of Republican hypocrites who hate “big government” and this president until they need something.

I am conflicted because I don’t agree with President Obama that Ft Hood, the bloodiest massacre ever on an American military base by a self-confessed jihadist's is a simple matter of workplace violence.

I mean its true that Americans obsessed over the OJ Simpson, Casey Anthony & Jodi Arias trials. Gun-control lobbyists turned Newtown, Aurora and Tucson into national awareness-raising, fundraising & legislation-promoting campaigns. But where are the celebrity lobbyists and high-profile advocates for the victims of bloodthirsty Muslim vigilante Nidal Hasan? The White House, which downplayed the terrorist mass murder as "workplace violence," exacerbated national apathy for his evil acts. Our soldiers deserve better.

14 victims fell & died in cold blood at the deployment center. But the death toll was actually 14 unless like me you don’t agree that an unborn person can be a victim. I just call it another form of late-term abortion even though at a hearing in 2010 (analogous to a civilian grand jury hearing), a survivor testified that the pregnant woman cried out, "My baby! My baby!" In his opening statement, Hasan acting as his own lawyer apologized to his fellow jihadists for not destroying more innocent life.

The victims were all unarmed. Soldiers inside the deployment center were & are forbidden from carrying either issued or personal on base. When Hasan commenced his shooting spree by shouting, "Allahu Akbar," several brave men & women in uniform used chairs, tables & their own bodies to try to stop him. But it wasn't until a courageous, armed civilian police officer arrived on the scene with her 9mm Beretta that Hasan's rampage was interrupted. Gun-control zealots led by the Brady Campaign exploited Ft Hood to argue for even tighter gun restrictions. But it was a 1993 CLINTON administration gun-control directive banning most military personnel from carrying their arms for personal protection that facilitated this massacre.

So what’s the difference?(To quote Hillary, my wife’s BFF) that Hasan's military colleagues were more concerned with being accused of discrimination than with ridding our military of this known, deranged Islamic radical. In ‘07, 2 yrs before he carried out his homicidal plan, Hasan laid out his murderous means, motives & Koranic inspiration for all to see in a PPoint slide presentation to fellow Army doctors titled: "The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the US Military." Hasan warned: "It's getting harder & harder for Muslims in the service to morally justify being in a military that seems constantly engaged against fellow Muslims." And "We love death more then you love life!" & he carried an official calling card with the designation "SoA (SWT)" for "Soldier of Allah" and "Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala" (Islamic for "Glory to Him, the Exalted").

Hasan told his superiors he was not alone among Muslim soldiers who believed they "should not serve in any capacity that renders them at risk to hurting/killing believers unjustly." He reminded the Army of the fatal 2003 fragging attack on American soldiers in Kuwait by Sgt. Hasan Akbar who was sentenced to death but remains alive while his case drags on in appeal.

A Joint Terrorism Task Force had been monitoring Hasan's communications with jihad spiritual leader Anwar al-Awlaki all along but the military was not notified. Even without that military officers expressed concerns privately that Hasan might leak classified information to terror groups if he were deployed & that he was capable of committing a fragging.

Yet they were prepared to deploy him anyway & did nothing to remove him from his job. One email from an Army investigator before the massacre fretted: "Had we launched an investigation of Hasan we'd have been crucified." Instead, 13 soldiers & 1 unborn child were slaughtered & paid with their lives for our country's reckless political correctness also known as a Liberal’s Policy for Paradise.
