The secret to killing a republican is to do make them do it to themselves. You don't even need to touch them, you just gotta spread peanut butter on their ass and turn a half dozen other squirrels loose.

Really? Or will it be a repeat of 2012...the clown circus primary season.
The Republicans took back the House in 2012. Just missed taking back the Senate by 6 or 7 seats. Don't forget.

Romney's Mormonism was his Achilles heel, I believe. That, and the fact he let several golden opportunities slip through his hands in the last two debates. A major hurricane weeks before the election that put Obama in the spotlight for an entire week and Romney on the back burner didn't help either.

But Romney would have been a great president.

But you're still distorting the facts. The person responsible for the bill being watered down beyond recognition was Democratic Senate Majority Leader, Lyndon Baines Johnson.
Again, according to your source:
"The Democratic Senate Majority Leader, Lyndon Baines Johnson from Texas, realized that the bill and its journey through Congress could tear apart his party whose southern bloc was anti-civil rights and northern members were more pro-civil rights. Southern senators occupied chairs of numerous important committees due to their long seniority. Johnson sent the bill to the judiciary committee led by Senator James Eastland from Mississippi who proceeded to change and alter the bill almost beyond recognition. Johnson sought recognition from civil rights advocates for passing the bill while also receiving recognition from the mostly southern anti-civil rights Democrats for reducing it so much as to kill it."

Just like a Democrat. Johnson was a weasel like the others who followed him in his party. Lie...cheat...steal...whatever .
Rubio will have difficulty getting the nomination when the base of the GOP wants to deport him.

You're lying again baby.
The three whistleblowers who testified about Benghazi were State Department officials.

Gregory N. Hicks, a foreign service officer and former Deputy Chief of Mission/Chargé d’Affairs in Libya.

Former Marine Mark I. Thompson, acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism for the State Department.

Eric Nordstrom, Diplomatic Security Officer and former Regional Security Officer in Libya.

Their testimonies were pretty compelling. Did you not see any of the coverage?

Here's LBJ's speech to Congress urging them to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1965( less than a year after earlier versions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 were 'watered down' enough to get passed) LBJ doesn't sound 'reluctant' at all! "I will send to Congress a law designed to eliminate illegal barriers to the right to vote….
To those who seek to avoid action by their National Government in their home communities—who want to and who seek to maintain purely local control over elections—the answer is simple. Open your polling places to all your people. Allow men and women to register and vote whatever the color of their skin. Extend the rights of citizenship to every citizen of this land. There is no constitutional issue here. The command of the Constitution is plain. There is no moral issue. It is wrong—deadly wrong—to deny any of your fellow Americans the right to vote in this country. There is no issue of States rights or National rights. There is only the struggle for human rights."

When did Bush ever warn congress of anything?
He was pro Fannie all the way. The Ownership Society.
Once again, you prove that you're a partisan moron.
New York Times
2003

The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago.

Under the plan, disclosed at a Congressional hearing today, a new agency would be created within the Treasury Department to assume supervision of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored companies that are the two largest players in the mortgage lending industry.

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/09/11/business/ne...

Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee, had this to say: "These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."

Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed. "I don't see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing," Mr. Watt said.

...That's just one of many attempts by Bush to stop the impending disaster.

Republicans needed to win only a handful of Senate seats to take control of the upper chamber.

The Democrats secured 52 seats in the Senate, Republicans 44.

That's 8. Excuse me.

And just whose fault is that lamebrain? How many times has the President proposed legislation that would actually put people back to work only to have it shot down by the Republicans? And just what legislation has the GOP put forth to help the economy? no, they've had 40 useless votes to repeal Obamacare at $1.5 million a pop for a total of 60 million wasted taxpayer dollars. And what do they propose to replace it? Nothing we'd just go back to the good old days where big insurance could pick and choose who they cover, weasel out of actually paying for medical expenses and even dropping subscribers who had the audacity of actually getting sick.
I see you're still pushing your damned fairy tale that Fannie and Freddie were to blame for the collapse of the housing market when it was in fact unregulated mortgage brokers who made those risky loans and bundled them up and sold them as equally unregulated mortgage backed securities.
You're an idiot Carol.
Lord Obama keeps proposing the same thing he threw $800 BILLION in taxpayer money at years ago: more bridges, more roads, and more kickbacks to his buddies and donors in solar and wind power.

An idiot thinks he can get a different result from doing the same thing. We're still at over 7.5% unemployment (going on FIVE YEARS!), the GDP growth is a anemic 2.6% after many quarters in the 1-2% range. But you think we should do what the Lord says: more bridges and roads. What does that make you?

As for Fannie and Freddie, she was right again. Mortgage bankers had a sweet deal going. The federal gubbermint guaranteed mortgages regardless of the quality of the borrower. In fact, Dodd and Frank were buying votes from unreliable and irresponsible people (core Socialist/Democrat voters), so the bankers just took advantage of an opportunity. If you saw a $100 bill on the sidewalk would you pick it up?

As for health care, how about this: you socialists can fund your own gubbermint-run system. You sign up for Obamacare, you get taxed to support it. Those of us that would rather buy our own DON'T get taxed for it. You can't use our private hospitals, we can't use your gubbermint-run hospitals. How about that?

Of course you wouldn't like it. As with every other liberal scheme, it's simply to transfer money from people that earn it (conservatives) to pathetic, lazy losers (liberals). A gubbermint run system would fall apart even faster if there weren't the Evil Rich to tax to support it.
