"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ... Full Story

your post explain why you are confused and you were one of those too that kept saying that there was a right to Social Security and the Federal Government could reduce or eliminate Social Security when it is stated clearly on the Social Security Website that there is no rights to Social Security and the Federal Government can reduce or eliminate Social Security at any time and it was the Pseudo Liberals that wrote the Social Security Act of 1935 and was confirmed by the Psuedo Liberals on the SCOTUS in 1960 the is no rights to Social Security and is why the Conservative were against the Pseudo Liberals Social Security SCAM when they enacted it in 1935.

Maybe that would help some of them stop their addictions to the No intelligence required social media sites...and to start teaching again!
Far too many public schools in the cities are nothing but circuses. Teachers are like animal trainers who get eaten alive or cower under their desks paralyzed by the system and administrators who are the circus masters.

I kid you not.

In this article, you'll explore capitalism: its roots, principles and effects, benefits and shortcomings. We'll find out how capitalism compares to the alternative method of doing business. Incidentally, the United States doesn't actually practice capitalism. No one does these days.

In pure capitalism, things like child labor laws, Social Security, anti-discriminatory hiring practices and a minimum wage have no place. Capitalism rejects all government intervention in economic matters.

Why are we closing down embassies after 5 years of Obama?

Obama was supposed to fix our standing in the world with his apology tour.

Where'd all that Hope & Change go to?

I'm still waiting for you to show me where CRA was removed and banks are not longer 'required' to make your so called bad loans.
For some reason, you can't answer when this happened
I wonder why?
Capitalism UNCHECKED was responsible for the mortgage crisis.

Congress was responsible for overseeing Fannie and Freddie once the bad mortgage loans became a grave concern as far back as 2004 when a Republican Congressional hearing tried to rein it in.

But far too many Democrats were on their payroll to want to change anything.

Republicans can take some of the blame for loosening government oversight and regulations but Democrats take the prize.

And that's just the facts...son.

We should have at least a 3% growth rate to even break even with the number of jobless.
Let's wait and see if it drops back down to 0.1% again before breaking out the champagne. Tay?
So let's put the blame where it belongs Carol, the obstructionist do nothing Republicans that control the House. They took 40 useless not going anywhere votes to repeal Obamacare costing taxpayers $1.5 million a pop for a total of 60 million wasted taxpayer dollars. How many cops could we put on the street, how many firefighters could be hired and how many teachers could be kept in classrooms with that money? How many workers would be hired if that money was invested infrastructure projects?

A growing rift within republican party is widening into a chasm! From the depths will their come rebirth or desolation?
Chasm widens. Will this give birth to the Progressive Grand Old Party?
Senator Ted Cruz {R Tea Party} from Texas has launched his desires for the 2016 presidenticy as has Marco Rubio {R Tea Party} of Florida.
Cruz has revealed as he says “ A dirty little secret, republicans {traditionalist} would like very much to cast a symbolic vote against raising the debt ceiling and nonetheless to allow our democrat friends on the left side of the aisle to raise the debt ceiling.”
Mike Lee {R Tea Party} and Ted Cruz prefer the hostage/ransom method to block any progress of the Congress. John McCain {R Traditional} disagrees as this will inflame the scenario of an up and down vote by the democrats. Who will then expand that to all Key issues.
Democrats begin to set the stage. Complaining of how the republicans are blocking or delaying confirmation of top White House nominees. Including Federal Judges. Accusing a small group are abusing their powers to block actions for our Congress to proceed with the governing of our Nation.
The Chasm Widens…

And we thought that Tea Party Republicans could not get any crazier. They have expanded the war on women to include the American worker. "More than three-quarters of the Senate Republican caucus signed onto legislation introduced Wednesday by Sens. Tom Coburn (R-OK) and Rand Paul (R-KY) that could render it virtually impossible for Congress to enact any legislation intended to improve working conditions or otherwise regulate the workplace. Had their bill been in effect during the Twentieth Century, for example, there would likely be no nationwide minimum wage, no national ban on workplace discrimination, no national labor law and no overtime in most industries."
