You dance divinely, Simone, and you recognize the humor in this no doubt. L'enfer, c'est les autres, except in your case.

Shyly intellectual you may be, prudishness is a mere cloak to be cast aside at the appropriate moment. But passionate, passionate is what you were born to be and it will curl your toes permanently if you resist it too long.

This doesn't happen very often but here goes. I'm retracting what I said about Obama being responsible for the unraveling in Iraq.

After doing a lot of research, I learned the Iraqis welcomed a small force to stay behind but not without conditions. Iraqi leaders adamantly refused to give U.S. troops immunity from prosecution in Iraqi courts still angry over incidents such as Abu Ghraib and Iraqi civilians killed in Anbar - and wanted American troops subject to Iraqi law.

The issue of legal protection for the Americans was the deal-breaker.

Unless I find this is inaccurate, I was wrong. Dead wrong. But only about this.

There you go.

Oh, is that so? An intelligent person might grasp that if they could be wrong about one fundamental point they might be wrong about some others...

This explains why Liberals want more government...

they don't trust Republicans...so they put in their crooks...

"We document that, in a cross section of countries, government regulation is strongly negatively correlated with measures of trust. In a simple model explaining this correlation, distrust creates public demand for regulation, whereas regulation in turn discourages formation of trust, leading to multiple equilibria. A key implication of the model is that individuals in low-trust countries want more government intervention even though they know the government is corrupt. We test this and other implications of the model using country- and individual-level data on trust and beliefs about the role of government, as well as on changes in beliefs during the transition from socialism"

I'm not sure we have the will to fight our enemies.

There are atrocities in any war - sometimes even by the good guys - but Americans stood behind the greater cause and were united to win victories over Germany and Japan. Now it seems like Americans either no longer have the will or would rather blame ourselves before standing together against a common enemy even to protect ourselves.

We will not be immune to the repercussions if the Middle East is left to its own devices and the rest of the world sits idly by. Our enemies are becoming even more emboldened.

And I don't think enough Americans realize that or even care.

It's still the way Obama went about announcing our early withdrawal without so much as an explanation.

Just to be the hero in the eyes of his liberal followers.

Everything he does and says makes himself out as a hero. Not a leader.

Oh, carol! what about pissing on the dead, killing a million innocents? When does your vision of right and wrong begin to waver? Who are "our enemies?" Are you sure? you can't just lash out and hope you hit the right people, dear.

The enemy, carol, is business, commerce. Siemens, Bayer, AG these are the forces of evil no matter how much you adore aspirin. They make money off your ignorance, then as now.

Sorry, I left out one. There is one other enemy: testosterone. Without this magic ingredient there would be no conflict, dear. It is the inestimable desire of men to compete with one another for women which brings allllllll the human misery in the world. And you, Schatze, are out in the street waving your flag for your team to win.

Obama’s former political director famously said “never let a crisis go to waste” and once again Barack Obama is trying to manufacture a crisis to get more gun control.
In the wake of the Zimmerman self-defense trial, President Obama announced a new push to end “gun violence”

( code words for disarming the law-abiding.)

And just days ago, United State Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois announced he was preparing to hold Senate hearings on Stand Your Ground Laws all over the country.

These state-level laws simply state that law-abiding citizens can legally defend themselves against criminal attack without having to think twice about retreating._________
(FLAT ROCK, Mich.) The family of slain U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry is outraged over President Obama’s recent remarks that his administration has been plagued by “phony scandals”. The remarks were made by the President on Wednesday as part of an economic speech at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Earlier in the week, White House press secretary Jay Carney also mentioned the issue of “phony scandals”. During the speech, the President went on to say that the GOP’s focus on scandals “needs to stop”.

Brian Terry was on duty when he lost his life while defending the U.S. border from members of a suspected drug cartel “rip-crew” in December of 2010 near Rio Rico, AZ. Weapons found at the murder scene were traced to the failed gun trafficking investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Dozens of people in Mexico have been killed or wounded by weapons linked to Operation Fast and Furious, including a police chief in Mexico.

Josephine Terry, Brian’s mother, said,“These deaths are real. My son’s death was real. I am outraged that President Obama is talking about phony scandals when he knows all too well that my son was a victim of Operation Fast and Furious that was authorized by members of his Justice Department and a U.S. Attorney that he appointed. Operation Fast and Furious was all too real for me and my family, and it directly contributed to my son’s murder.”

There IS no "EVIL" carol, there are just the guys who want to take your profits, your markets, ultimately your women. Want to know what "business" book remains at the top of the executive reading list after hundreds of years? "The Art of War." Now what could "war" have to do with "business" I wonder? Want to put an end to war? Kill the merchants of death.
