MLK: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."<quoted text>
I don’t want us to lose sight that things are getting better. Each successive generation seems to be making progress in changing attitudes when it comes to race. I doesn’t mean that we’re in a post racial society. It doesn’t mean that racism is eliminated," he said. "But you know, when I talk to Malia and Sasha and I listen to their friends and I see them interact, they’re better than we are." B. Obama 7/19/2013
And I hope to HECK, they leave those kids BE-and teach them about the MUCH more Importnant stuff in life-like those of GOOD character--because YES, they ARE smarter than a LOT of adults who would rather people see "differences in mere surface attributes" rather than to look DEEPER, at the people living underneath them!!!
You know what Homer-the folks I grew up around never paid attention to shallow VANITIES like that either really--we ACCEPTED our differences in race, creeds and cultures, Never basing anything on such SHALLOW NON qualifiers in forming opinions, and we always did just fine!
So stick that in between your fingers up your nose!
(Hostess cupcakes BACK on the selves -NO devil dogs in sight yet! Mmmm.. Welcome back to the store shelves Hostess cupcakes!! HAHA Homer!)
Blacks have completely ignored this and choose to follow instead the Poverty Pimps, Affirmative Action, Set-Asides and the Magic Negro.
You can't fix stupid.
The best we can do is to try reasoning with it.
The trying goes on....
