Signing the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act to boost nutritional and health standards for school lunches.
Signing Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which expanded existing hate crime protections to include crimes based on a victimís sexual orientation, gender, or disability, in addition to race, color, religion, or national origin.
Signing the Childrenís Health Insurance Authorization Act, which allows the Childrenís Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to cover health care for 4 million more children, paid for by a tax increase on tobacco products.
