Former President George W. Bush praises President Obama on counterterrorism and immigration reform
'I think the President got into the Oval Office and realized the dangers to the United States, and he's acted in a way that he thinks is necessary to protect the country,' Bush said of his successor during a taped interview that aired Sunday on ABC’s 'This Week.'

Touching wiping tears away BIRDS OF A FEATHER Bush say Obama is doing everything I did and continues the Same policies

Man, you do watch way too many Hollywood movies.
So, where are you going to launch the SEAL Team from? San Diego?
How are you going to recover the SEAL Team? Get Pakistan to do it for you?(You do remember that Pakistan was hiding bin Laden, right?)
What happens when the SEAL Team lands right in the middle of the whole goddam Taliban/Al Qaeda army?... and they don't have Bruce Willis and Steven Segal and Sylvester Stalone with them because they were in the chopper that had to turn around because of technical problems.... you really don't have a clue about things like this, do you?
You know, you may have a point. Can you imagine what would have happened to us if John Wayne had been born Japanese and not an American? Eye-chi-wahwah. That would have been a terrible thing.
You have no idea about what is coming out of your mouth now.
No, you can't just launch a SEAL Team from half way around the world and expect to see any of them alive again. There is a lot that goes into a successful mission, LIKE HAVING A SECURED BASE NEAR THE TARGET TO RECOVER THEM, IDIOT. That means we would have to have a secure base in either Afghanistan or Pakistan, both countries that had a government that hid bin Laden. So, we're going to have to invade some country to do what you think we should have done.
Now, we're back to the question again:
You would do the exact same thing in the exact same place against the exact same enemy as the Soviets, and you're stupid enough to think we'd have a different experience, right?
Or, you'd do something differently.
How about an answer that doesn't require a Hollywood movie script.
Oh lord, here we go, another conspiracy theory.

Sometimes you give me no choice but to think you're just joking.

If everyone knew what Hitler was up to, do you honestly think he would have been exalted by the Germans as their "great leader"?

Why would his own SS men try and assassinate him when they finally figured it out?

They were loyal up until that point too.

So you must be joking.

And that explains how Al Qaeda attacked us in Benghazi and is fighting in Syria, plus they're with the Taliban and using Obama's "safe passage" to bomb every village in Afghanistan today when before Obama surrendered they were confined to caves in the hinterlands.

McCain seems wrong on Egypt and Syria
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) reiterated his call Sunday for the United States to suspend foreign aid to Egypt, even as several other senators declined to take that position.
“Reluctantly, I believe that we have to suspend aid until such time as there is a new constitution and a free and fair election,” McCain said on CBS’s “Face The Nation.”
The Egyptian military ousted Mohamed Morsi from the presidency last week, and a dispute about the country’s leadership is ongoing. The Obama administration has said it is not aligned with any particular group and has avoided calling the ouster of Morsi a coup.
McCain was on the same side with the O'bama on Syria--yes I believe it wrong. Funding more Mo Bro hoodies that O'bama wants in power-as far as Egypt goes we are to quit funding them according to U.S. law-O'bama is on the wrong side for both.

Just 33 percent of Americans approve of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn a key part of the Voting Rights Act, a cornerstone of the civil rights movement aimed at preventing racial discrimination at the ballot box.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll finds that 51 percent disapprove of the decision, with 15 percent undecided. Republicans are about equally divided on the decision, with large margins of independents and Democrats disapproving of it.

Interestingly all of those 33%ers post on this thread.

Jessica Lynch POW joined the US Army for that purpose as did many others in her transportation company. They never dreamed they'd be sent off to war. Same with ER's and NG's many of whom wound up serving multiple tours in Iraq as well as Afghanistan___some were in their late forties/early fifties when deployed.

Jessica, got her college degree, teaches school and is considered a hero in West Virginia___a hero on par with Herschel "Woody" Williams.

Good for her.

Look at the Dumbest Generation entering the job force here in America. They can't even count change. Seems to me the Greatest Generation, while a small fraction of money was spent on education, certainly they were more educated than the Dumbest Generation (aka Generation Zero) with millions thrown at them. Certainly you realize that the bric countries that are up and coming have a 100 times better work ethic than these Iphone educated punks of today in America. GDumbs don't have to think-they let the media tell what to think. At best, the Dumbest Generation might be remembered as useful idiots. At worst, it could be remembered as the generation that lost the great American heritage, forever.

Well, Homer, if you spent, say, an hour doing a little research, you'd find that Rahm Emmanuel actually did send a dead fish to one of his opponents in Chicago. And you would find that Tony Rezko was sent to prison for real estate criminality of which Obama was a client. And you would find that Bill Ayres is an unrepentant domestic terrorists who would have killed innocent people had not three of his own got blown up instead. And you would find that Valerie Jarrett is a notorious slumlord in Chicago.
You would also find that Van Jones claimed to be an avowed communist and was forced to resign as an Obama advisor after it was exposed and Anita Dunn praised the philosophy of Mao Tse-Tung before having to resign too.
It's also very easy to find that Obama won unopposed twice in the Illinois Senate and also in the U.S. Senate because of scandals that emerged about his opponents of which Axelrod was allegedly the mastermind.
Don't you read anything besides the dailykos.com ?
Several of us have posted very credible sources surrounding these people over the years. You didn't even click on one of them to confirm or deny it?
You clicked the denial key instead, didn't you?
Help me help you, Homer. I'm trying as hard as I can.
Until one of them takes us to war based on lies, ya got nothing.

The US has far too many waitresses who have worthless college degrees and huge student debt. The nasty secret is that these people will never get good jobs, not even after Obama leaves and the economy improves. Business will hire new graduates instead.
