Do you ever listen to yourself?
Let's review some history....

There is a request for surge troops.
Obama takes office and begins his dither period, during which he orders all combat against Al Qaeda and the Taliban in the mountains to cease, and all US forces to retreat to the population centers.
Then Obama states: "The Taliban will be part of the future government of Afghanistan."
Then Obama gives the Taliban (and Al Qaeda because they are one in the same) "safe passage" throughout Afghanistan.

When Obama took office, the Taliban and Al Qaeda were confined to the caves in the mountainous tribal region between Afghanistan and Pakistan.(Pull out your Patriot's Guide to the War Map and look where you put your pins to mark locations of combat and compare the locations of your pins before and after Obama took office, idiot.)
Today the Taliban and Al Qaeda are bombing every village throughout Afghanistan.
... and the Afghans are sometimes convinced we're on the side of the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Obama is surrendering the United States to the Arab muslim jihad.

... which brings us to another question you idiots ran away from:

Why do we need to talk to the Taliban? If Obama wants to get out of Afghanistan, just pack up and leave. We can be completely out of Afghanistan in less than a month.
... unless the real intent is to sabotage the Karzai government and turn the country back over to the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Hey moron, How about the deficit when Bush stole the election and took over, along with a record surplus and about zero wars when Bush took over, how about all the men and women sacrificed by his incompetence? Tell us how his love for big corporation and deregulation Wall Street helped ruin the economy, then tell us that none of that played a role in the mess Obama inherited, tell us just how much the Republican controlled Congress has fought tooth and nail against any and everything that would help the recovery. Why any rational person would want the likes of Bush-and murdering snarley Cheney back in power is beyond stupid. Why is it that every recession and depression has followed an eight year reign of Republican lack of leadership? Dumbazz.
SURPLUS. OMG-it has been months since an idiot used that one. But it always sneaks in there in the liberal mind. ROTFLMAO.

Please inform the class how much the surplus was-and how much the debt was-just for grins and giggles. You can do it.

I agree, although I would like to see Zimmerman get a worse sentence. How many of us would not at some point confront someone that was obviously following you? Even if a fight starts does that give the other one the right to kill you, especially since he was the initiater? I personally can't see how any juror can find Zimmerman innocent since he was the stalker and his actions alone caused the death of a young man that was minding his own business. Pretty obvious to impartial people.

Do you mean the election when the Democrats were busted stealing votes in the recount?("Blizzard of chad"??? Is that the election you're talking about?)

Do you mean the surplus caused by the Republican Congress that Clinton had to be dragged kicking and screaming to?

Do you mean the "zero wars" when Al Qaeda was bombing us as if they were on a schedule?

Do you mean Bush ended those "zero wars" by arranging for Al Qaeda to kill 3000 Americans?

Do you mean the economic collapse caused by the Democrats' Marxist subprime housing mortgage underwriting program that the Republicans gave to the Democrats in exchange for the Democrats supporting the war in Iraq that collapsed our economy after two years of oversight by Democrats Dodd and Frank?

Do you listen to yourself... when your ear doesn't have male genetalia in it?

An ABC News/Washington Post poll finds that 51 percent disapprove of the decision, with 15 percent undecided. Republicans are about equally divided on the decision, with large margins of independents and Democrats disapproving of it.

Interestingly all of those 33%ers post on this thread.
There is no data as to how many democrats were over-sampled...can you find that information-it is not attached to the poll.

Is anyone else's electric bills getting higher?

We moved to a townhouse last November and it takes more energy than a one-story condo to keep it cool in the summertime, I'm sure.

But I try to keep the temperature set as high as possible and still keep it cool enough and light candles at night instead of turn on lamps, and our electric bills this summer are much higher than they were last summer.

Is anyone else seeing an increase in their electric bills who haven't moved?

Gallup: Fox News The Top Source Of Televised News

A study released Monday by Gallup found that television is the leading source of news for most Americans and that, among specific sources of televised news, Fox News tops all competitors.

http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/g...

it's like saying: they have the best ratings!

then the spoiler.....Eight percent identified Fox News as their top source, while seven percent gave the nod to CNN....

8%? take note FOXbots.... you're in the lead and no one really cares.

<quoted text>Wow, this one could be the most absurd post of the day. Comparing milk prices? LOL!
If anything the price of milk will go up because the Republicans won't pass the Farm bill -
Dairy farmers expressed frustration this week with Congress' failure to pass a farm bill, saying the uncertainty made it hard to do business and some could go under without changes to the federal milk program.
Farmers also worried that if a current nine-month extension of the 2008 farm bill expires with no action, a 64-year-old law will kick in, sending milk prices spiraling. While that might provide short-term profits, they say, it'd hurt them in the long run because no one wants to buy milk at $6 a gallon.
The U.S. House voted down a farm bill June 20, about a week after the Senate approved a different version. It was the second year in a row that the House failed to pass the every-five-years bill that sets funding for agriculture and food programs. Last year, it didn't even vote, prompting the passage in January of a slimmed-down extension of the 2008 law largely to avoid milk prices sharply increasing.
http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/farmers-wa...
Why do Republicans hate farmers?
Yes, comparing the prices of milk to estimate inflation. I know it seems absurd to you that inflation be fixed to the actual price a consumer pays.

How much were you paying for milk the day before Obama took office?
How much are you paying for milk today?

Do the arithmetic and tell us what the real inflation numbers are.

Besides, just take the welfare out of the farm bill and it will zoom through... unless the Democrats insist there be welfare in the bill.

Ok, dufus. Let's go over this again....
It's 9/12.
You're the president.
What do you do?
Your answer was:
"Do the exact same thing in the exact same place against the exact same enemy as the Soviets, and somehow you expect a different result?"
Is this correct? You would do the exact same thing in the exact same place against the exact same enemy as the Soviets, and you're stupid enough to think you'd have a different experience than the Soviets, right?
Or, was your answer one of the other options, like "do something differently."
If you would have done simething different than what the Soviets did, what would that have been?
