The mainstream media is heralding today's "fantastic" employment numbers as evidence that the U.S. economy is steadily recovering. But is that really true?

OF course:ē B29: A lighter-skinned black woman, possibly Hispanic, who lived in Chicago at the time of Trayvonís death. The woman, who works at a nursing home, told lawyers that she prefers reality shows to news and worried about her eight children.

The vote for the resolution using military force in Afghanistan was almost unanimous. The resolution using military force in Iraq was supported by Democrats by a 110 vote.

If no Democrats had voted for either you'd have a point.

But you have no point.

It was bound to happen. Too much land, too many people coming to the New World, not enough Indians.
The killing, enslavement and taking of land began with the arrival of the Europeans but peaked when it became federal policy under President Andrew Jackson, Democrat.
In one of the saddest episodes of our brief history, Cherokee men, women and children were taken from their land, herded into makeshift forts with minimal facilities and food and then forced to march a thousand miles, eventually being allowed to move in small groups separately through the wilderness to forage for food the rest of the way to Oklahoma.
About 4000 Cherokee died as a result of the removal. The route they traveled and the journey itself became known as "The Trail of Tears".
Although Native American Indians were often misunderstood and lied to by presidents before this event, it was a Democrat president, Andrew Jackson's, treatment of native Indians that was most atrocious...kemosabe.
Something present day democrats don't like to be reminded of. The history of their own party - like in the south.
The GOP doesn't have blatant organized anti-Indian, anti-black racism on public record or in the national archives.

The Indians turned in their weapons and the government took care of them? All good Indians and sheep believe their handler's propaganda. It's how and why the Indians have stayed on the reservation.

The DNA of the demokratic party is inbred with 100+ years of hate and racism.

More than half of Democratic Senators voted for the use of military force in Iraq. Without them, the Iraq War would have never been sanctioned.

As someone else put it:

The War in Iraq was only approved because of a majority Democrat vote in the Senate. The Democrats then turned around and called it "Bush's war". It's intellectual dishonesty.

Thomas Jefferson's attitude toward the Indians was not always consistent. He went out of his way to describe the Indian people of North America as a noble race who were the innocent victims of history...but it was during Jefferson's presidency that the basic decisions were made that required the deportation of massive segments of the Indian population to land west of the Mississippi.

Jefferson instructed Lewis and Clark to offer friendship, trade, education and even offer vaccination for smallpox to the Indians. He explained the nation's policy "is to live in perpetual peace with the Indians, to cultivate their affectionate attachment from them, by everything just and liberal which we can do for them within the bounds of reason."

But Jefferson was also concerned about the land falling to the French or the British and the Indians, unfortunately, presented a potential threat to that happening.

The plight of the Native American Indians was a very sad one.

The Trail of Tears was nothing but inhumane.

You wouldn't be saying that a strictly partisan Democrat vote for a monstrosity piece of legislation which the majority of the people were against and not one Republican supported which we now know was a huge mistake ISN'T "fcked up"?

And you wouldn't be saying that the abuses of power by this administration against those who disagree with an ideology and the policies of those in power ISN'T "fcked up"?

Certainly, you aren't saying that.

So what have Republicans done that is so offensive to you that the Democrats haven't done?

Carol, when are you going to grow up? Likely never.

You know damn well Bush lied to get Congressional approval.

And twice as many Republicans voted in support of the resolution as Democrats.

It seems all enslaved and unconscious liberals "WANT" to believe "Bush Lied - Soldiers Died" phantom propaganda, except for the Dittohead, pea-brain Obama liberals in Congress who wanted and voted to invade Afghanistan and Iraq whom still continue to fund the war and soldiers still continue to die today!! and never closed Gitmo..

Bush obtained Congressional approval on the basis of lies.

Republican votes in both the House and Senate outnumbered Democrats by 2-1. So at least Democrats can say they were less gullible.

There was no lie. Just you people trying to take advantage of the killing of 4 Americans to try to make political gain.
(CNN)-- Osama bin Laden's death marked the end of an era for U.S. investigators who searched remote villages and mountain caves in a far-reaching manhunt for the al Qaeda leader.

Their search which lasted more than a decade ended early Monday in Pakistan when a small U.S. team raided a heavily guarded hideout in Pakistan and killed him.

...Ironically, the person who helped lead the U.S. to Osama bin Laden's hideout in Abbottabad was Dr. Shakil Afridi who has been held in a remote Pakistani prison serving a 33-year sentence.

Obama took all the credit for a decade long search and forgot all about Dr. Afridi.
