Jumping to President Obama is neat.<quoted text>
(Lost one post already so hope this one doesn't post twice.)
The contradictions in this president's words is so glaring, it's amazing it hasn't been picked up and turned back on him.
He keeps inferring that al Qaeda is on the run. If the threats of terrorism have diminished, then why is the government building a huge expansive complex to house NSA in the middle of nowhere and Americans' privacy still being infringed upon?
This quote is as disturbing now as it was when Obama first made it after he was first elected:
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
So if terrorism is not the threat it once was according to this president and, yet, Americans' are still being spied upon to prevent another terrorist attack and Obama's enemies have already been targeted by the IRS and, because Obama believes we need a "civilian security force" that is "just as powerful as the military", there's something a bit unnerving and glaringly contradictory about this president's perception of who and what is a national security threat.
The truth of the matter is this president believes by his own words and actions that the biggest threat is from within - not from without.
He has made it quite clear that some of us are his enemies and some of us are his friends.
The good news is that we all know it now.
Oddly enough, the most obvious things are sometimes the hardest to see because seeing would be too hard to grasp.
History has proven it.
Is your information on the President
as vital as that on Der Fuehrer?
