The full extent of the CFPB personal financial data collection program is revealed in a document obtained by Judicial Watch entitled “INDEFINITE-DELIVERY INDEFINITY-QUANTITY (IDIQ) STATEMENT OF WORK.” According to the IDIQ document’s stated Objective:“The CFPB seeks to acquire and maintain a nationally representative panel of credit information on consumers for use in a wide range of policy research projects… The panel shall be a random sample of consumer credit files obtains from a national database of credit files.”
Wonderful, more snooping into our private financial affairs.

For our own protection, of course.

They sure are a trusting bunch then.

Congress gets the same Intel as the Executive Branch.

Only when it comes to attacks on embassies in Benghazi and winning an election does the Executive Branch change the word "terrorists" in the CIA reports to "a video".

Scientist: South Florida Will Be Water by End of Century

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.– Scientists and economists Tuesday warned lawmakers of consequences Florida faces from climate change, including more destructive hurricanes and a rising sea level, but they also said the state could be a leader in reducing global warming.
Harold Wanless, chairman of the University of Miami's Department of Geological Sciences, predicted a 1.5 foot rise in sea level in 50 years and a three- to five-foot increase by the end of the century.
"Three feet's going to get messy," he said. "Four feet becomes extremely difficult to live in South Florida and five feet probably impossible."

And that FOX report is 6 years old. It's gotten worse since then.

"Broward County Plans Ahead For South Florida Rising Sea Levels"

" The Broward County Commission began preparing for rising sea levels Tuesday by enacting a climate change plan, the Sun Sentinel reports.

To the dismay of developers, the plan would impact future building plans, energy use, and green living to prepare for what scientists widely believe to be rising sea levels. By 2060, the commission said, residents in coastal communities could be swimming at their door steps.

The commission hopes to avoid future problems like flooding, sewer failure and contaminated drinking water by implementing the blueprint now.

Miami-Dade County would also be heavily impacted by rising sea levels. Scientists believe that by 2030, oceans could be up to 7 inches higher, according to the Southeast Florida Climate Change Compact. By 2030, this could be up to 2 feet. The projections were calculated by utilizing Key West’s tidal data from 1913 to 1999."

As for the economy, that's a load of crap, the stimulus was passed almost immediately and healthcare reform was not until a year later.
Why do you whiners rely on the government to provide jobs anyhow?
Rightwing aholes have been sitting around for 4 years waiting for the government to fix the economy. Astounding.
The stimulus did nothing that was promised except increase the deficit.

Obamacare will do nothing that was promised except make health care more inaccessible and cost the taxpayers money.

You need to stop listening to propagandists. That's the problem, Homer. Not me or Fox News.

Anytime any media source is behind those in power - it's time to raise red flags. Put the white one away.

I think every other witnesses after Jeantel are all irrelevant. They're all after the fact. The case will be made by establishing the aggressor. Only one witnesses testimony does that &, it's Jeantel. Even though most of the witnesses, all besides one puts Zimmerman on top & Trayvon screaming help, it doesn't really say much because, the momentum of the fight can change with the wind. Trayvon probably was on top for part of the fight, Zimmerman also was probably on top for part of the fight. I think the real problem Zimmerman has is, he initially said that, he was on the way back to his car &, that he wasn't following Martin but, facts prove otherwise that Infact, he wasn't on his way to the car just by where the altercation took place, 30yds from Martins fathers home. Also Zimmerman said he was looking for a street sign but, the altercation took place in the back of the complex. There are no street signs in the back of the townhouse complex. Everyone else who testified was nomore than spectators after the fact of the purpose of the case!

I'd rather have a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau acting to protect my own best interests by safeguarding my personal credit information than Big Banksters using M.E.R.S. to confiscate my mortgage and financial records in order to defraud me of my private property. "In the previous two parts of this series I have recounted the multiple frauds perpetrated by MERS: it defrauded counties out of billions of dollars of reporting fees, it defrauded homeowners by destroying documents that provide a clear chain of title -- facilitating its foreclosure frauds, and it defrauded securities investors by failing to adhere to PSAs (pooling and servicing agreements)-- making their securities invalid. Now, in order to cover the trail of deceit MERS and the banks are stealing homes as fast as they can in the hope that no one will notice the fraud. Meanwhile, they are destroying real estate values and adding to the headwinds that are pushing our economy into the first great depression of the 21st century.
