Barack Obama, our next President

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ... Full Story

Activists from different groups marched to the US embassy in Pretoria on Friday protesting against President Barack Obama.
The large group marched along Francis Baard Street, singing and chanting anti-Obama slogans. One activist, on a truck mounted with a public address system, led the songs and slogans.
He shouted: "Free Palestine. Free Swaziland. Free Zimbabwe. Down Obama, down!"
The group initially gathered at the Caledonian Stadium before embarking on the march.
Some of the protesters' placards read: "Obama, stop supporting dictators in Africa. No oil here, move on.
"100 years of genocide in Iraq. War in 100 countries. Rogue State."
A young boy's poster read: "No you can't spy on me".
Many protesters wore orange overalls and black hoods. Others were dressed in Young Communist League red regalia.
The league's national secretary was with other officials in front of the protesters.
A large banner with Obama's face had the words: "Meet the world's top assassin". The banner also had a picture of Obama behind prison bars.
Because when it comes to matters of life and death, civilized societies shouldn't need government to give a thumbs up or thumbs down. Now, should they?

Of course, when you lower the bar of moral standards in any society, don't be surprised when you discover it has become more barbaric than civilized.

Gosnell just got caught because he was sloppy. But Tiller was doing the same thing with Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' blessing in Kansas of all places. Hard to imagine how prevalent this really is especially in inner cities.
The problem with Gosnell was not only the performance of very late-term abortions, but that his clinic lacked any minimum standards of medical care. Inspecting such clinics and demanding upgrades is politically incorrect.

Our immigration policy is racist at best.
Let's not pull any punches on this.
It's all politics.

They let any Cuban come in, because of Castro.

Not a one of these nitwits questions why we will let any Cuban who makes it stay here.

If Mexico goes Communist, we'd open our borders to Mexicans for political purposes.

And these same idiots would support it.

That's what many republicans are also saying - let's see the border guards in place first. No one trusts this government. The democrats made sure their massive immigration bill included "escape clauses" where Napolitano or Obama could decide not to enforce parts of it at their discretion.
Those sneaky democrats...always wanting to put power in the hands of the few.
"No one trusts this government.." = Carol does not like to lose elections.

Republicans opposed Social Security 1935
Republicans opposed Medicare 1965
We are still in the Republican depression of Oct 2008.

But carol can only blame Obama

iraq is a fine example of what happens when we do.
Oh, goody! Another chance to remind another liberal Senator Hillary Clinton shot that argument smack dab in the foot.

"Saddam Hussein is providing aid, comfort and sanctuary to terrorists including al Qaeda."
Sen. Hillary Clinton supporting Iraq War on Senate Floor 2002

So...what say you? You still going to argue Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11?

She had plenty more to say about supporting the Iraq War in that same speech if you want me to cut and paste it for you.

When You are on Medicare and Prescription drug benefit will we observe "the Ayn Rand Model" of attitude change?
The fact is unchanged that many medical practices need to limit the percentage of the patients on Medicare and will decline to accept new patients who are on Medicare, while continuing to treat existing patients who move to Medicare.

So just hope your doctor doesn't retire or die.

The system COULD and SHOULD be subjected to some "reigning in" and tightening of the belts.

Amazing how easily waste and abuse, even if inadvertently-can and does occur.

But why not retrain our unemployed inner city youth to pick crops?
Go for it. Most of you Republicans wouldn't set foot in an inner city. Just think you may actually be able to provide a way out for a lot of inner city youths, that have maybe have 2 options, selling drugs or working at some crappy minimum wage job. Well, 3 they could always turn to crime to support themselves. Well, ok 4, we do have welfare programs in this country.

Let's not pull any punches on this.
Our current immigration policy discriminates AGAINST immigrants from Ireland and other Northern and Western European countries.

The current immigration bill exacerbates that discrimination.

Hadn't gotten to the post yet. Read someone's response to it and was hoping to find it eventually.

O'Reilly has been hammering border control for what seems like forever - even when Republicans were in power.

So keep squawking. But it sounds more like noise.
