Do you have a reading comprehension problem? As the article clearly pointed out, SVTC intends to see that, instead of becoming electronic waste, solar panels are recycled.
Solar panels have an expected lifespan of at least 20 years so to claim they are polluting "now" is a bit of a stretch. I have no doubt that the industry will see to it that a responsible program will be implemented before a significant number of panels pile up.
"SolarWorld, has been recycling its own panels since 2003 at its main factory in Freiberg, Germany. That factory now receives broken panels from its U.S. plants in Camarillo, Calif., Hillsboro, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash."
"First Solar currently harvests cadmium and tellurium from its recycling program to use in new modules, even though buying it from a supplier is currently less expensive."
"Being truly sustainable -- and maintaining that green credibility -- is a powerful motivator for renewable energy companies."

The panels are not the problem.

Paula Deen made the mistake of testifying truthfully in a deposition instead of lying like everybody in the Obama Reich.

Good.

So what is the kwh equivalent of Obama's African vacation, counting the entire entourage plus the press plus the military escorts?

How many homes could this trip light for a year?

HEY STUPID! How do you know that abortions have sky rocked since Reo v Wade? They weren't reported prior to that ruling since they were illegal or were simply called something else in medical records like a dilation and curettage. How many women died or had their health and reproductive systems destroyed by back alley abortionists? If you and your ignorant ilk have their way there'll be more Kermit Gosnells and many more women will die.
Kermit Gosnell had a licensed abortion clinic.

Obama got a second term because the Republicans are too damned busy fighting amongst themselves and have no message for the people. Democrats are promising the world to the folks willing to spend month after month, year after year on the government dole. Wake up America. A third party of reasonable folk need to be elected and we need to get rid of the fringe on both sides. Our government is not working for us and our very democracy may be at stake. Since folks have defected from both parties, myself included, it seems to be the time to see change.

If you disagree with feeding the hungry and poor, you are exactly what Jesus Christ preached AGAINST.
Folks like you and Carol call yourself Christians, yet pervert the teachings of Christ.
Did Jesus wash the feet of the wealthy??
Did Jesus not make his life's work helping the poor and powerless??
Jesus was a revolutionary, nothing less. And he paid for it with his life, as revolutionaries often do.

Examples are:

Body odor
Tatoos
Facial jewelry
Bizarre clothing
Foul language

<quoted text>NO. The NSA would first have to make a request to a Federal Judge for a warrant to access those security camera recording information. And that's not the only hurdle that the NSA or even an F.B.I. agent would have to jump over to get access to that kind of information. A government agent would have to make a pretty good case before a Federal judge before he'd even consider granting such a request besides the lengthy questioning and caveats that the judge would insist on bringing up.

Get serious!

Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI), who was a key player in getting the Voting Rights Act legislation renewed in 1982 and 2006, said the Supreme Court may have ruled Tuesday to strike down a critical portion of the act, but the "threat of discrimination still exists" and he will put "partisan politics aide and ensure Americans' most sacred right is protected."
"The Voting Rights Act is vital to America’s commitment to never again permit racial prejudices in the electoral process," Sensenbrenner said in a statement Wednesday. "Section 5 of the Act was a bipartisan effort to rectify past injustices and ensure minorities’ ability to participate in elections, but the threat of discrimination still exists. I am disappointed by the Court’s ruling, but my colleagues and I will work in a bipartisan fashion to update Section 4 to ensure Section 5 can be properly implemented to protect voting rights, especially for minorities. This is going to take time and will require members from both sides of the aisle to put partisan politics aside and ensure Americans’ most sacred right is protected.”

WTF!
Even Saint Trayvon called George Zimmerman a "creepy-ass cracker" and a "n*****".
Whites generally consider "cracker" the equivalent of the n-word.
Saint Trayvon may lose his Food Channel fried chicken show.
The Deen tragedy is a lopsided Liberal Circus. Matt Lauer put on his best condescending browbeating Holier-Than-Thou Liberal Clown Face yesterday and acted like the pompous azz that he is.

I've never had any love for Paula Deen. I am absolutely neutral toward her. She's a business woman with a schtick that works. Period.

But, as you mentioned above, the black report is much worse than Paula's. Hear it in the workplace, in Hollywood, on TV and in all sorts of media and yet they all get a Free Pass.

We've got a racist azzhole in the White House along with a racist AG and the Liberal Media will ignore anything it has to to keep the Magic Negro looking good. Even if it means ignoring his spying on that same sorry media itself. Their pants are down and they're just lovin' it(my apologies to McDonald's)

Every Liberal Sheep in the country wants a solar panel roof with a wind turbine in their backyard.

And they're willing to trash the environment to get them, dammit!

It's like name-dropping "Gold" in some hick-town bar and the next morning, the hardware store is out of pick-axes and pie-pans while the townsfolk are tearing up every river, creek and sewer pipe within a hundred miles.

And when they finally wake up a generation from now, Bush-Bashing will be resurrected once again for the trashed environment.....

Not sure what he is useful for though.
People who willingly allow themselves to be used are useful only to those who use them to achieve a self-serving end.

Those presently in power use liberals because they are gullible and, frankly, idiot-like.

Too many useful idiots are dangerous. More so than the users. The used elect the users and are useful for that reason and that reason only.

The idea that something being "natural"means it is not harmful is really dumb.
Our climate is based on many things. One is our atmosphere. When you change the make up of our atmosphere, you can change our climate.
Yes there are many natural emitters of carbon. These natural levels can go up & down. But when man starts pumping tons upon tons of CO2, then it heightens those natural fluctuations.
The quantity of carbon on the planet is a fixed number, unaffected by man or nature.
