HMO plans are cheaper for one reason...denial of services.

Few problems? You were bitching and moaning about the housing bubble and you call it a few problems?

Same with the banks?

It's not the government's job to create jobs. Neither is it the government's job to inhibit jobs or freeze hiring by big government intrusion. That's where Obama gets into trouble. And why we're where we are.

Depends how one defines "polluting."
Modern coal fired plants remove particulates, sulfur oxides, and nitrogen oxides.
One could easily argue that solar power plants cause far more permanent damage to the environment because of the vast amounts of land involved and their frequent location in desert areas that have very fragile ecosystems that cannot recover once disturbed.
Wind turbines also have significant environmental effects, including killing large numbers of protected bird species.
And the negative effects of hydropower projects such as the Three Gorges Dam in China are obvious.
lol! You should talk to mdbuilder about killing spotted owls.

Doesn't give a rip.

Except the Russians don't play with squirrels, as they teach the Chinese how to play the violin because Russians do better in musical instruments and ballet.
Once again, since Chairman Mao admired Russia's Stalin to seek as master for radicalism revolution in those days, these days the Chinese might seek the Russians to teach them to drone back and defeat US drones of violating rules of laws, if US dares to use spy like Fogle again to hunt for information of Snowden.
Since Russians don't play with rabbits, squirrels or sand marbles, but the surveying using their fast jets of possible drone activation that China might be interested to be trained by Russians to implement the International law, while playing the role of climate change agenda.
You still don't get it. It doesn't matter what Russia and China think of President Obama's climate change plan, climate change is devastating their countries and to act as if everything is 'normal' dooms them to catastrophic consequences. Yes, that's why Bob Corker wants big government to create 20,000 new jobs in building an extension to the 'Freedom Wall' fence along our border with Mexico to keep illegals out before he votes fro the Immigration Bill(I hope that the Mexico President will echo Reagan's 'call' and tell 'Mr. President Obama 'tear down that wall'!) Those 20,000 new jobs can be given to the coal miners looking for new jobs after we end all financing of coal ---they can have healthier, safer jobs at building the soft energy national infrastructure , a new renewable energy grid , for a 21st modern America.

Here's an idea.

Obama should persuade his Communist buddies to live with the same environmental restrictions as American power producers.

Seems fair.

If you are correct about climate change, which you are not, then changes by America will do absolutely no good if China and Russia and India and Korea and Vietnam and others do not do the same.

To think that their emissions of greenhouse gases would affect only their countries is naive.

The reason why Hillary Clinton has remained silent over her husband's repeal of Glass-Steagall may be because it is more embarrassing than Monica Lewinsky.

The climate has apparently been in a "warming plateau" for the past 15 years.

Scientific data shows the temperatures have not varied that significantly.

Most of the warming over the last century occurred before 1940 - preceding the vast majority of human-caused carbon dioxide emissions worldwide. Global warming alarmists have been unable to explain this mismatch between warming theory and scientific data.

James Hansen, director of NASA's Goddard Institute of Space Studies who started the clamor for action to prevent global warming, wrote in the 1998 Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that "the forcings that drive long-term climate change are not known with accuracy sufficient to define future climate change."

So much for being sure.

I've been bitching and moaning about Democrats refusing to rein in Fannie and Freddie long before the housing bubble burst.

Clinton and Congressional Democrats expanded the CRA forcing banks to make those bad loans.

Republicans fear big government which is responsible for creating Social Security and Medicare and their implosion we're about to witness. Big government Democrats rejected the major reforms Republicans introduced to save both.
