The Wiki-leaks Snowden has united individuals of various political leanings together. Supporters and opponents come from each political group -conservative, Progressive and Libertarian.
Of course the Wiki-leak crowd has him as a hero. Sarah Harrison from Wiki-leak is his traveling companion. She is an adviser to Julian Assange who is holed up at an Ecuador embassy in the UK.
The focus should be on the government spying on US citizens, not on Snowden.

Guantanamo Bay To Stay Open As House Blocks Bill To Close Infamous Prison
WASHINGTON -- A worsening hunger strike and a fresh plea by President Barack Obama to close the Guantanamo Bay prison fell on deaf ears in Congress Friday, as the House of Representatives voted to keep the increasingly infamous jail open.
The House voted to make it harder for Obama to begin shifting inmates, adding a restriction to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014 that bars any of the roughly 56 prisoners who have been cleared by military and intelligence officials to be sent to Yemen from being transferred there for one year. Some 30 other Gitmo inmates of the 166 kept there have also been cleared for release.

"silly"
I would bet that "nutsucker" is giving you a big thank you. But the fact remains president nobama stated that he would close Gitmo. He lied. He did not believe that the congress could in a way control his activities.
How would you like it if a special prison was built just down the street from where you live to house those murdering pieces of crap. Let them rot there and only you others of your bent will shed a tear. Ot would make your day, month, year if nobama could free them so they could go do what they do, bomb, murder and maim.

Nevertheless, somehow the Boston bombers, the underwear bomber, Maj. Nidal, and the Time's Square bomber all stayed off their radar?
Major Nadal wasn't under anybody's radar, at least anybody who came in contact with him in the Army. Alarms were sounded, but ignored for political correctness.

And if NSA snooping couldn't catch the Boston bombers, who can they catch?

5 Reasons to Attend Army Whistleblower Bradley Manning’s Trial
Please note that this next week court is not in session on Monday (6/24), Tuesday will be a short day, and the trial will resume as normal Wednesday (6/26) at 9:30 am, with the weekly vigil taking place from 7-8 am that day. Livestream trial update today at 5 pm EST
#1: Show The Judge The Public Is Watching Her
At the beginning of each day of trial, the prosecuting attorney stands and reads to the court information about the levels of public attendance. During most days of the court martial, seats have remained free in the courtroom, and the overflow trailer which provides video feed of the proceedings has remained unused. We hope you’ll help us to change this.
Judge Lind knows that a high-profile case like this one will be part of her legacy. She’s not supposed to read any news about the trial, but there’s no more direct way to show her the importance that her decisions will have for the public than by members of the public taking it upon themselves to fill up her courtroom.
#2: Your Attendance Means A Lot To Bradley And His Lawyer
Bradley Manning is a 25 year old with a conscience who has already spent three years of his life behind bars, and faces potential life imprisonment, all for trying to serve the public good. Despite the gravity of his situation, he maintains optimism, and his attorney David Coombs has explained that his supporters have a lot to do with that...

FACT: The U.S. economy was far better off when the maximum tax on dividends was nearly 40 percent and people actually saved for their retirement rather than gambled on the stock market.
Investing (not gambling) in the stock market is the only feasible way to build a sufficient retirement account. All pensions funds invest in equities. The old savings account at the town bank just doesn't cut it.

Are you really that stupid, or just a government employee.

Completely false.
The Erie Canal, first proposed in 1807, was under construction from 1817 to 1825 and officially opened on October 26, 1825.

Obviously, George Washington did not build the Erie Canal. But his earlier efforts, along with efforts of others, eventually contributed to the growing need and final creation of the Erie Canal.

Fropm Wiki - Erie Canal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erie_Canal

"The colonial idea of a canal (or artificially improved waterway) to tie the East Coast to the new western settlements was in the air; in 1724, New York provincial official Cadwallader Colden made a passing reference (in a report on fur trading) to improving the natural waterways of western New York. George Washington led a serious effort to turn the Potomac River into a navigable link to the west, sinking substantial energy and capital into the Patowmack Canal from 1785 until his death fourteen years later. By 1788 Washington's Potomac Company was successful in constructing five locks which took boats 4,500 feet (1,400 m) past the Potomac Great Falls. The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal superseded the Potomac Canal in 1823."

I have to note you do not comment on the red line in the sand that president nobama made. Not a dime's worth of arms should be sent to the area and not a single one of the detainees should be released. Nothing America does is going to change the behavour, they will continue to do what they have done for centuries, murder and maim, children and women at the top of their list.

This president is no worse or better than any other president for the last several years since Eisenhower's Industrial War Complex speech and since Kennedy was assassinated. Since then we have been expected to be sheep who don't question the dictations of our government "investigations" and the media interpretation of it all. Real reporters of news are few as real news is rarely reported anyway.
Earth to Moonbat:

You obviously have no clue about anything. Must be a Democrat.

Do you actually think the Vietnam protesters "were sheep" when Democrat President Kennedy sent 50,000+ of our kids to die?

You are correct about real news not being reported. The Democrat Media does not report how the government under this presi-DENT "Obama" has targeted segments of the population for harassment, as "Obama" personally did against conservatives and the Tea Party, using the IRS and other federal agencies, abusing his power. Where the hell have you been for the last two months?

The Democrats want sheep, sweetie. Why else would they target a group they don't agree with and deny them their rights as citizens? You have no clue about this because you listen to want you want to hear (nothing).

For you to say "they are all the same" shows you have no flocking clue.

You, my dear,

ARE THE SHEEP !!!!

Let me guess...

You are an Obama voting DemocRAT?

Indeed.
