IRS scandal expands: Now EPA accused of selectively targeting Conservative groups

June 23, 2013

As bad as it was that the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative and Tea Party groups filing for tax-exempt status, it appears now that the IRS wasn’t the only federal agency doing so.

According to June 4 Fox News report, the (UN-Constitutional thus Unlawful) Environmental Protection Agency - itself used by successive administrations to harass and punish Americans – was also targeting conservative groups:

The allegations concern the [EPA], which is being accused of trying to charge conservative groups fees while largely exempting liberal groups. The fees applied to Freedom of Information Act requests – allegedly, the EPA waived them for liberal groups far more often than it did for conservative ones.

‘This cannot be tolerated’

Why isn't America furious over the NSA leaks? I mean in the right way in that we should never be comfortable with the government routinely spying on us.
Maybe its because we've been numbed by the endless stream of nonsensical conspiracies that always end up to be much ado ...
Roger Aisles' and his right-wing brethren's relentless pursuit of BS has provided this President with the cover he desperately needs right now.
Your post is unclear.

Are you disturbed by the "NSA leaks" or by the NSA spying on American citizens?

Or are you trying to cover for the NSA by a ridiculous diversion to Fox?

The New York gun confiscation law exempts cops and retired cops.
What justification is there for retired cops to have special privileges?
As for Ms. Feinstein/Blum, if she is opposed to any exemptions for veterans she should just say so and not accuse them of being less mentally healthy than society in general, which is what she implied. Not really a big deal, and could be resolved with a simple apology.

Yeah, roughly the same number of people who watched the final episode of America's Got Talent "disapprove" of being spied on.

"Bush". You're obstinance is pathetic.
How can higher taxes, less disposable income, all-encompassing bureaucratic intrusion, and dependence on foreign oil, possibly invigorate an economy? It's ridiculous on it's face and impossible under any circumstances.
Obama plans a government program to develop a magic fuel that will save the environment and make oil obsolete.

The immediate suspicion is anti-Mormon bigotry by fundamentalist Christians, a worthless fringe cult that should not be pandered to. They are the problem, not Fox. The anti-abortion crowd turns off Conservative women voters who are not part of their religious cult.
Republicans should focus on tax and budget issues, where they had great success in 2010.
Their number. One issue is abortion, then gay marriage. Even though those issues buried them, they have continued even stronger than before. Nothing on jobs, Boehner is ineffective as Speaker.

You know better than to compare mid-term voter turnout with general election turnout.
