In some states, you can collect from unemployment and SS at the same time.
Plus, at age 66 or so you can earn a large salary and still collect SS.
Really? How 'large' of a salary son?

I'm assuming your position is based on NO reduction of SS benefits.

<quoted text>Has Batty Loo ever explained why with her two "professional" careers she is still depending on SS at 62? Didn't she do any research into that?(And, yes, Yeah, I am being most sarcastic.)
I will be more than glad to explain the obvious.

After leaving the teaching profession, I lost all benefits including a 401k. They don't keep giving you benefits if you're no longer in the profession. But I did receive a lump sum from my accrued 401k of 10 years minus taxes.

When I started my new career 15 years ago and went part-time a few years ago, again, I forfeited all benefits in lieu of still being on my husband's insurance and knowing he has an excellent 401k - which is now in jeopardy after Obama collapses the dollar once and for all - but is usually the case for many couples and families.

So is everything a little clearer now?

The Trentadue Case: A Coverup That Won't Stay Covered
By Paul Craig Roberts on December 2, 2003 at 2:00am
CNN recently reported that "the Justice Department is re-examining its investigation into the 1995 death of a federal prisoner that the victim's family alleges was murder at the hands of the government."

The victim was Kenneth Michael Trentadue. At 7 AM on August 21, 1995, officials from the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's office arrived at the new Oklahoma City Federal Transfer Center for the body of a man recently picked up for parole violation who allegedly was a suicide by hanging. The astonished state officials saw a body with scalp split to the skull in three places, throat slashed, and a body completely covered in blood, bruises and burns.

Not true in most states or at this time.

It was true in Pennsylvania where all state employees had a cushy gig. Maybe you're old enough to remember that PA state mining inspectors qualified for black lung benefits that could then be assigned to their wives upon death, no matter the cause.

Really? You just put another nail in Batty Loo's coffin or lies, there, Old Fella', or did you realize that? Young people may be increasingly unhappy with Obama's compromises, but there's no way in hell they'll ever be voting for Grumpy Old Pricks for the next quarter century.

Pick a statement and tell us why you disagree with that statement. I'll help you. Here's to post again:
2008 economic collapse was caused by the Democrats' Marxist subprime housing mortgage underwriting program. Here's the history, moron:
1999 Clinton coerces Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to institute nation-wide a subprime loan program for people who cannot possibly pay the loans.
2003 the Republicans give to the Democrats no effective oversight of their Marxist subprime program in exchange for the Democrats supporting the war in Iraq.
January, 2007, Democrats take over all oversight of the institutions that were most instrumental in the economic collapse. The lies from Democrats Dodd and Frank after this oversight began are too numerous to list in a post limited to 4000 words.
After 2 years of oversight by Democrats, the Democrats' Marxist subprime housing loan program collapsed the economy.
Now, do you have another question about the recent history of the United States?

Then, tell us why you pretend to have military experience. I think you're a lying fraud. Were you one of the frauds pretending to be Vietnam veterans in the so-called "Vietnam Veterans Against the War" that slandered real veterans with lies?
Or, are you just not old enough to have done that, haole?

No clue what STRS/PERS plans are, but you may be referring to the fact that teachers in some states have been outside the SS system, not paying taxes, which affects later benefits.

That is not typical, but an even better deal for the teachers, given that SS is a losing proposition.

Yes. Obvious.
The IRS used its authority to obstruct certain political orientations (coincidentally opposed to the current administration) while passing those same application from another political orientation through.
That is a criminal offense.
That is a felony.
So, since the FBI says the IRS case is "solved", and it is obvious a felony was committed, tell us who went to prison.
Well? Who went to prison for the crimes the IRS committed?
criminal offense....

At IRS,'Tea Party' could mean 'liberal,' official says

When front-line tax agents in Cincinnati used the term "tea party," they didn't just mean conservative groups. Instead, a "tea party" case could refer to an application for tax-exemption from any group -- including liberal ones -- believed to be engaging in political activity, one IRS official told congressional investigators.

"Since the first case that came up to Washington happened to have that name, it appeared to me that that's what they were calling it that as a shorthand, because the first case had been that," said Holly Paz, the Internal Revenue Service's director of rulings and agreements. She said "tea party" could mean any political group, just like "Coke" is used as a generic term for soda, or people refer to tissues as "Kleenex."

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2...

so yes, it is a criminal offense to lie to the IRS about your political activities that you try to pass off as tax exempt.

Realtime was probably a great used car dealer, seeing as that he is such an a-hole, just like everyone in that business.

Applies to new car sales as well. Worst things about buying a car are the salesmen and the dealership. Can't wait to be able to buy directly from the manufacturer.

"There is now nothing the USA can do to prevent the collapse of its currency and its economy. It has no reserves to support its value and has the most indebted country in the world. Both Russia and China have said they will be switching their considerable dollar reserves into Euro creating a global lack of confidence in the currency and setting into free-fall. It will soon bring about the total collapse of the dollar and the American economy."
