No, I saw the exact same crap under Bush, you don't see it because your nose is firmly planted in the GOP's posterior.
The "Patriot Act" updated did not exist prior to the Bush admin and 9/11 BECAUSE....

(DUH).

That does not mean however, that any admins following, have the right to abuse it...and it's ALL quite clearly defined.

No, remember, it wasn't declared a "war". Military action was authorized, sort of like Kent State.

Anyway, when one of you morons acknowledge the fact that Bushco fabricated the "eminent threat" posed by Iraq then you'll have a tiny bit of credibility attacking Obama/Clinton for Benghazi. Until then, you have no standing.

President Bush has remained silent on politics and did not find time to attend the republican convention.
Yes but that fact doesn't fit into their fantastic narrative.

Do you understand the difference between domestic and international?

And I don't think Kuwait would be able to agree with your surmise on Iraq and America. Nor would any of the other internationial allies that lended aid.

You people are seriously fckd up defending child predators and the institution that protected them.
No one is defending pedophiles.

We just RATIONALLY realize that that type of perverted behavior, is NOT exclusive to ANY one particular "group".

I've lived in four countries on four continents, I think I know the difference. We've been talking about the 21st Century war in Iraq.

I want to explain why I have decided, with the unanimous recommendation of my national security team, to use force in Iraq; why we have acted now; and what we aim to accomplish.

Six weeks ago, Saddam Hussein announced that he would no longer cooperate with the United Nations weapons inspectors called UNSCOM. They are highly professional experts from dozens of countries. Their job is to oversee the elimination of Iraq's capability to retain, create and use weapons of mass destruction, and to verify that Iraq does not attempt to rebuild that capability.

The international community had good reason to set this requirement. Other countries possess weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles. With Saddam, there is one big difference: He has used them. Not once, but repeatedly. Unleashing chemical weapons against Iranian troops during a decade-long war. Not only against soldiers, but against civilians, firing Scud missiles at the citizens of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Iran. And not only against a foreign enemy, but even against his own people, gassing Kurdish civilians in Northern Iraq.

The international community had little doubt then, and I have no doubt today, that left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will use these terrible weapons again.

Are you saying that the Bush Admin made this stuff up?

Former President George H.W. Bush wants son Jeb to make his own run for the White House, the former Florida governor hinted in an interview that aired Sunday.

Jeb Bush's mother, Barbara, said earlier this year that there have been "enough Bushes" in the White House. But Bush indicated on ABC's "This Week" that his father disagrees.“I think we’ve got a split ballot amongst the Bush senior family. Pretty sure that’s the case,” he said.

Bush also spoke more generally about his father.

“He’s a humble guy,” he said.“Every day was Father’s Day as I’m concerned.”

Watching his father lose re-election in 1992 but move on without much grieving has been inspirational, Bush added. "I think my dad’s post-presidency, he didn’t miss a beat,” he said.“He didn’t get into any kind of ‘woe is me.’ He dusted himself off and led an incredible life since 1993.”

Kent State was a domestic event.

Makes no difference if you vacation on Uranus, brother, you still have no clue about the difference between international and domestic.

Being worldly is one thing but being lost in that world is another.
