Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

House Republicans have now voted to repeal health care reform nearly 40 times. They've spent four years ranting and raving about "government health care" and how awful it is.
Except, when it comes to themselves. And their own government-subsidized health care -- for life, after just a few years of service.
Tell them "Repeal your own government-subsidized heath care first, hypocrites!"

“Come Home America!”

You just got caught in another lie Carol, it wasn't some "lowly magistrate judge" who approved the warrant it was Chief Judge Royce Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Appeals don't go down the judicial food chain stupid, they go up.
According to 18 USC 2703;
(b) Contents of Wire or Electronic Communications in a Remote Computing Service.—
(1)A governmental entity may require a provider of remote computing service to disclose the contents of any wire or electronic communication to which this paragraph is made applicable by paragraph (2) of this subsection—
(A)without required notice to the subscriber or customer, if the governmental entity obtains a warrant issued using the procedures described in the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure (or, in the case of a State court, issued using State warrant procedures) by a court of competent jurisdiction; or
(B)with prior notice from the governmental entity to the subscriber or customer if the governmental entity—
(i)uses an administrative subpoena authorized by a Federal or State statute or a Federal or State grand jury or trial subpoena; or
(ii)obtains a court order for such disclosure under subsection (d) of this section;
except that delayed notice may be given pursuant to section 2705 of this title.
So no, Carol, notice was in fact not required since a warrant was issued.
Why are you always lying?
The information that first came out described him as a magistrate judge. Apparently, this was incorrect.

But since that's been cleared up...

Why did Holder go "judge shopping" to illegally confiscate a journalist's emails and phone records?

Why did Judge Lamberth overturn the first two judges' refusal to give Holder permission to break the law?

These are two indisputable facts. Got answers?

Lindsey Graham can't make a statement about US foreign policy without mentioning the word "Israel". Its an amazing defect:

WRONG AGAIN STUPID! You seem to be forgetting that both Indonesia and the Philippines also have large Muslim populations. Bush split the Islamic countries? Bull crap! In replacing the secular government in Iraq with one led by Shiites, Bush gave Iran more influence in the area. Iran can now supply their ally the Assad regime in Syria by directly flying over Iraq which wouldn't have been possible under Sadaam Hussein.
You're a delusional idiot DB!

If I may interject, Galt was absolutely correct in saying teachers must be more accountable to their students rather than the unions and liberal politicians who have made too many of them politically correct robots.

Too many teachers have been programmed to believe participating in the politically correct poison is necessary to keep their jobs.

Nevermind the students know they're being poisoned and their schools have become madhouses where no one gives a damn about them.

Obama has formed a unified worldwide sanction program that have brought about this change. That is how sanctions work.

This is how our government "creates" jobs.

In the 50's we orchestrated a coup to overthrow the democratically elected President of Iran and installed a US friendly dictator in the form of the Shah. Once the locals got tired of the tyrant and overthrew him we harbored him and froze offshore Iranian assets. Once the hostage crisis was resolved we went on to impose sanctions.

So, american cars are very popular in Iran. Smuggling replacement parts to keep the pre-1979 american car fleet running is big business. Iran has 75 million potential customers that the US government has closed off to us because ... I'm not really sure.

Iran held a presidential election yesterday and out of a field of six candidates the people chose the one moderate. I think they're sending us a signal but don't think for a minute that I believe our government and electorate aren't stupid enough to pass it up.

Light the torches!

NASA admits listening to phone calls and claims don't need a warrant to do so...

" The National Security Agency has acknowledged in a new classified briefing that it does not need court authorization to listen to domestic phone calls.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat, disclosed this week that during a secret briefing to members of Congress, he was told that the contents of a phone call could be accessed "simply based on an analyst deciding that."

If the NSA wants "to listen to the phone," an analyst's decision is sufficient, without any other legal authorization required, Nadler said he learned. "I was rather startled," said Nadler, an attorney and congressman who serves on the House Judiciary committee.

Not only does this disclosure shed more light on how the NSA's formidable eavesdropping apparatus works domestically, it also suggests the Justice Department has secretly interpreted federal surveillance law to permit thousands of low-ranking analysts to eavesdrop on phone calls.

Because the same legal standards that apply to phone calls also apply to e-mail messages, text messages, and instant messages, Nadler's disclosure indicates the NSA analysts could also access the contents of Internet communications without going before a court and seeking approval. "

Another person stating the US cannot keep spending 85 billion dollars a month to prop up the stock market--

"Currently, Bernanke and company is buying $1 trillion of Treasury and mortgage bonds a year. That's about $85 billion per month against a budget deficit that is about the same level.

According to Schiff, these numbers are unsustainable. And the Fed has no credible "exit strategy."

"The crisis is imminent," Schiff said. "I don't think Obama is going to finish his second term without the bottom dropping out. And stock market investors are oblivious to the problems."

"We're broke, Schiff added. "We owe trillions. Look at our budget deficit; look at the debt to GDP ratio, the unfunded liabilities. If we were in the Eurozone, they would kick us out."

Highway run
Into the midnight sun
Wheels go round and round
You're on my mind

Restless hearts
Sleep alone tonight
Sending all my love along the wire
They say that the road
Ain't no place to start a family
Right down the line it's been you and me
And loving a music man
Ain't always what it's suppose to be
Oh girl
You stand by me
I'm forever yours
Faithfully

Circus life
Under the big top world
We all need a clown to make us smile

Through space and time
Always another show
Wondering where I am lost without you
And being apart ain't easy on this love affair
Two strangers learning to fall in love again
I get the joy of rediscovering you
Oh girl
You stand by me
I'm forever yours
Faithfully

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
I'm still yours
Ever yours
Faithfully

" President Obama, whose deeply held faith in government is unwavering, unintentionally provided that moment of clarity last week. In attempting to dismiss concerns about the NSA disclosures, he said,

"If people can't trust not only the executive branch but also don't trust Congress and don't trust federal judges to make sure that we're abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we're going to have some problems here."

We have a problem.

Just 30 percent of voters nationwide have that much trust in government officials when it comes to these surveillance efforts.

Only 24 percent now are confident that the federal government does the right thing most of the time. "

Line up of what voters consider the TOP in seriousness of the recent scandals

"At the moment, 35 percent of voters consider recently exposed National Security Agency surveillance efforts as the most serious. The Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservatives is No. 2 on the list, followed by concerns about the Obama administration's handling of the incident in Benghazi last fall in which the U.S. ambassador to Libya was murdered. The Justice Department's secret probe of reporters' phone and email records is seen as the top concern by only 9 percent. "

Nothing, more mindless Progressive squirrel chasing.
