President Obama’s National Security State is making American’s insecure.“Freedom of speech is a principal pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved, and tyranny is erected on its ruins. Republics and limited monarchies derive their strength and vigor from a popular examination into the action of the magistrates." Benjamin Franklin - 17 November 1737.

A call for strategic minds to unite
Monsanto and Big Ag have truly weaved a tangled web by placing themselves and their cohorts at the very epicenter of U.S. economic stability. It is obvious, therefore, that we need the world’s brightest and most creative minds to unite in an effort to free the U.S. from the financial stronghold they have on the economy.
Anti-GMO activists need to come up with a plan to offer the U.S. fiscal system long-term growth and sustainability – at the same time – providing solutions to world hunger issues to let Americans know that we are not at the mercy of GMO’s to feed the world.
Let’s begin by using our spending power
It has been announced by Amanda Irish, senior director of Target’s store brands, that it will boost its organic food selection by 25 percent by 2017. According to Irish, Target’s new brand of organic food is in response to American’s demand for healthy food options. Although, only 10 percent of overall grocery sales, Irish states that organic foods are growing at twice the rate of conventional groceries.
In effect, these numbers reflect an increased demand for non-GMO’s as well because organic food by definition is non-GMO.
So, to help shift the financial dependency our nation has on Big Ag, consumers need to first utilize their spending power and vote “No-GMO” with their dollar. We need to focus the economic trend toward non-GMO products and create awareness to lead our fellow Americans down a similar.
Like the EU, Japan and other countries refusing to purchase GMO products, Monsanto will be pressured to supply what is demanded or else run the risk of losing their market share.
Galt favors free market choice, but doubts that a majority of consumers will choose to pay significantly higher prices for "organic" foods.

Galt does not understand your objection to disease-resistant and pesticide-resistant seeds that allow farmers to increase crop yields.

Isn't it indicative how integration is no longer the message? As these black population centers grow and get louder, segregation has become more and more attractive to blacks but especially the politicians. Now, instead of jobs, they demand economic "justice", i.e. money for nothing. If they just get more justice, everything will be cool. They don't want jobs.

Undermining the Fourth Amendment: NSA Memos Expose Obama Administration’s Lies about Wiretapping
National Security Agency internal memorandums made public over a decade ago refute the Obama administration’s claims that its vast domestic surveillance program are being carried out as part of a “war on terror.”

Plans to carry out the abrogation of basic democratic rights were well underway at least ten months before the “global war on terror” was launched in the aftermath of the still unexplained events of September 11th, 2001.

The “Transition 2001” memo, published internally by the NSA at the end of 2000 in preparation for the inauguration of President George W. Bush, discloses a decade-old plan to undermine the foundations of the Fourth Amendment. The heavily-redacted document was made public by a Freedom of Information Act request filed by a George Washington University professor.

The Fourth Amendment states that “[t]he right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated…”

The 2000 NSA memo expresses the view that this basic democratic right is not compatible with the repressive needs of the state:

“The Fourth Amendment is as applicable to eSIGNINT [electronic signal intelligence] as it is to the SIGINT of yesterday and today. The Information Age will however cause us to rethink and reapply the procedures, policies and authorities born in an earlier electronic surveillance environment.”[emphasis added.]

“Make no mistake,” the memo continues,“NSA can and will perform its missions consistent with the Fourth Amendment and all applicable laws. But senior leadership must understand that today’s and tomorrow’s mission will demand a powerful, permanent presence on a global telecommunications network that will host the ‘protected’ communications of Americans as well as the targeted communications of adversaries.”[emphasis added.]

The Fourth Amendment contains no “however” or “but” clauses, as the authors of the memo attempt to imply. The language “shall not be violated” clearly indicates that the constitution’s authors intended no such exceptions.

Moreover, the fact that the NSA employed quotation marks when referencing “protected” constitutional rights signifies the level of contempt with which large sections of the ruling class view the basic democratic rights of the American people.

Terrance Brown, 40, is on trial in South Florida for allegedly conspiring with four other men to hijack armored trucks delivering cash to banks in 2010. All have pleaded not guilty. But now Brown has come up with a unique defense: he wants the National Security Agency to turn over his phone records to the court to demonstrate his innocence.

The case, which is taking place in federal court, involves phone records – the FBI and prosecutors have been using cellphone records to demonstrate the men’s locations near the robbery attempts. The prosecution said that it was unable to get cellphone records from the time before September 2010 because the phone carrier had destroyed the records.

But Brown has new hope: his lawyer, Marshall Dore Louis, filed documents requesting NSA documents showing phone location records for Brown’s cellphones on the night of one of the robberies.“The president of the United States has recognized this program has been ongoing since 2006,” wrote Louis,“to gather the phone numbers [and related information] of everybody including my client in 2010.”

The judge, Robin Rosenbaum, gave the prosecutors a few weeks to respond.“There are security procedures that must be followed,” said Assistant US Attorney Michael Walleisa. One prosecutor, Michael Gilfarb, said that the information might not be relevant, depending on whether Brown carried his phone that night, given the fact that Brown’s wife said he didn’t have a cellphone at that time.

How many is negligible?

There comes a point where the expense with out weigh the benefits.

Republicans can put on a tight restriction & then never fund border security to a level to achieve their idea of border security - voiding the immigration bill.

You know, like the Republicans are trying not to fund the ACA.

Will you clowns make up your minds? One side of your mouth says Bush was such a great president that Obama is just doing what Bush did. The other side of your mouth says everything is all Bush's fault.
Let's start with what should be obvious. Bush isn't the president. We are concerned with what is happening today.
There is no comparison between anything that happened when Bush was president and the attempt to install an Orwellian dictatorship today.
Eric Holder is running guns for Mexican drug cartels.
Janet Napolitano is preparing for a major war against the American people.
The government built an 80-million dollar facility for the sole purpose of subjectively spying on the population.
Obama wants to use weaponized drones on the American population.
... and on, and on, and on.
But, let's get to the very core of the discussion. Here is the rule that must be complied with, or we fight a war over this:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
This is non-negotiable. You must comply with this.... or we fight. If you choose to fight a war over this principle, ultimately the winners will most certainly hang the losers. So, don't whine and cry if it's your neck that noose gets put around. Take it like a man. You started it.
who started it?

some guy who was bound and determined, long before 9/11, to start a war with Iraq. then said guy had to lie about terrorists ties to Iraq so we could start having all of our phones calls listened to by Bush political appointees, who i'm just so sure never ever reported someone who might have disparaged Bush.

so can you tell me...where can i buy a unicorn?
