FOX is the chief competitor to Comedy Central. FOX comedy routines are invariably based on lies and half truths.

Jon Stewart has exposed more lies from FOX than anyone else.

Explains how 'diaper man' Nobraina can't tell the difference between comedy and factual news.

Yes, that's if you call George W Bush a 'leftwing politician'. "The primary ethanol subsidy offered by the federal government is a tax incentive called the Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit, which was passed by Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2004. It took effect in 2005." Understanding the Ethanol Subsidy

Of course, you might have already joined the radical neoconservatives who have already tried to paint George W Bush as a 'naive RINO ' now after he came out in support of Obama's Immigration Reform bill.

Obama's woes flow out of big government philosophy

The latest problems with the IRS witch hunt, the seizure of phone records from The Associated Press, the conflicting Benghazi stories and disastrous attempts to enforce Obamacare may all seem unrelated, but they are not.

Each of these events is the direct byproduct of two central philosophies of the Obama administration -- the massive expansion of the size and power of the federal government and a lack of trust in the American people.

These scandals were bound to happen. In fact, it was inevitable, and there will be more. President Obama has grown the size, the scope, the debt and the power of the federal government to such irresponsible proportions that problems like these are an inevitable result.

Now we have not just big government, but big brother running big government.

IRS, AP and Benghazi Show the Failure of Obama's Big Government

Big Government Makes For Big Obama Screwups and More Waste...

The leadership failures and bureaucratic dysfunction exposed by the Internal Revenue Service scandal should be a wake up call to anybody who believes bigger government can solve this nation's problems.

How can an "impotent" bureaucracy with "poor management" and the IRS with its "capacity for incompetence and stupidity," as left-leaning commentators David Ignatius and Ruth Marcus both wrote in the Washington Post last week, possibly be trusted to take on the Obama's ambitious agenda?

If the IRS example teaches us anything, it's that giving an inefficient organization more responsibility makes it more likely to screw up, not better able to solve this nation's problems
Now we have not just BIG government, but BIG brother running BIG government.

Caught you in yet another lie, Nobraina.

All you do is come here and lie. Must suck to be you.

You now call Dubya a leftist??

----------

Bush: Use ethanol to get off oil
Bush calls for energy independence, stands by ethanol although environmental benefits of the corn-based fuel are questioned while it is blamed for surging food prices.

President Bush said the United States should "get off oil" Wednesday as crude prices hit record highs and renewed his support for ethanol use despite concerns the corn-based fuel is driving up food prices and isn't more environmentally friendly than gasoline.

"We gotta get off oil, American has got to change its habits," Bush told a crowd at the Washington International Renewable Energy Conference, a meeting of global energy officials and an adjoining trade show that's the largest all-renewables show ever held in the United States. "It should be obvious to all, demand has outstripped supply, which makes prices go up."

As the conference got into its second day, crude oil on the New York mercantile exchange jumped nearly $4 on falling oil inventories, trading over $104 a barrel and setting a new all-time record.

Part of Bush's plan to wean the country off oil includes big investments in ethanol.

The energy bill passed by Congress and signed by Bush in December calls for refiners to replace 36 billion gallons of gasoline with ethanol by 2020, up from about 7 billion gallons today. About half of that will come from ethanol made with corn.

"That's good if you're a corn farmer, and it's good if you're concerned with national security," Bush said.

----------

the ethanol fiasco was a gift from Bush to Repugnant congressmen from corn states like Iowa.

All the corn states are Red States.

so your leftist claims are just another lie from th eTopix serial liar.

Osteen and Pat Robertson are Christians, not Muslim terrorists.
Christianity is a harmless diversion that comforts many people.
Christians have been some of the most aggressive international terrorists since The Crusades.

[From the confines of Jerusalem and the city of Constantinople a horrible tale has gone forth and very frequently has been brought to our ears: namely, that a race from the kingdom of the Persians, an accursed race, a race utterly alienated from God, a generation, forsooth, which has neither directed its heart nor entrusted its spirit to God, has invaded the lands of those Christians and has depopulated them by sword, pillage, and fire....

---Pope Urban II, Proclamation at Clermont, 1095

The Crusades, like so much of the modern conflict, were not wholly rational movements that could be explained away by purely economic or territorial ambition or by the clash of rights and interests. They were fueled, on all sides, by myths and passions that were far more effective in getting people to act than any purely political motivation. The medieval holy wars in the Middle East could not be solved by rational treatises or neat territorial solutions. Fundamental passions were involved which touched the identity of Christians, Muslims and Jews and which were sacred to the identity of each. They have not changed very much in the holy wars of today.

"Obama has called on Congress to pass a "media shield" law, which would enshrine extra protection for journalists acting in the public interest." Seems to me, that is exactly the President Obama people voted for. Or perhaps you would prefer Obama follow Bush's example by sitting back and doing nothing while protecting Holder through use of "executive privilege"?
How can any law passed by Congress "enshrine extra protection for journalists" when the First Amendment protection of freedom of speech is absolute?

And why should journalists have any more right to freedom of speech than anyone else?

If Obama wants to protect a rotting carp like Holder through Executive Privilege, so what?

"Effort to Kill the Ethanol Subsidy

Coburn led an effort to repeal the ethanol subsidy in June of 2011, saying it was a waste of taxpayer money - he said the Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit cost $30.5 billion from 2005 through 2011 - because consumption remained only a small part of the country's fuel use.

His effort to repeal the ethanol subsidy failed in the Senate by a vote of 59 to 40. "
