Congress authorized Clinton to send troops to Bosnia.

Congress authorized Clinton, under the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, to drop bombs on Iraq for four days.

Congress authorized Johnson to use military force in Vietnam under the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.

So if the Iraq War was unconstitutional, so were all conflicts and wars since WWII - all of them authorized by Congress.

Liberals just like to play the "double standard card" when it suits their bias.

Yes I'm sure all those thousands of soldiers waiting and waiting and waiting for their disability claims to go through would be so happy to stand in the line of "supporters" for just how much Obama and his administration do for them. Oh, and don't forget all those soldiers that were vics of the "work place violence" at Fort Hood. I bet they are some of Obama's biggest supporters. Yeah, that's the ticket!!!

"Additional scrutiny of conservative organizations’ activities by the IRS did not solely originate in the agency’s Cincinnati office, with requests for information coming from other offices and often bearing the signatures of higher-ups at the agency, according to attorneys representing some of the targeted groups. At least one letter requesting information about one of the groups bears the signature of Lois Lerner, the suspended director of the IRS Exempt Organizations department in Washington."

"Among the letters were several that bore return IRS addresses other than Cincinnati, including “Department of the Treasury / Internal Revenue Service / Washington, D.C.,” and the signatures of IRS officials higher up the chain. Two letters with ”Department of the Treasury / Internal Revenue Service / Washington, D.C.” letterhead were signed by “Tax Law Specialist(s)” from Exempt Organizations Technical Group 1 and Technical Group 2. Lerner’s signature, which appeared to be a stamp rather than an actual signature, appeared on a letter requesting additional information from the Ohio Liberty Council Corp."

"Cleta Mitchell, another attorney representing conservative groups that allege they were targeted, said an IRS agent in Cincinnati told her a “task force” IRS office in Washington, D.C., was making the decisions about the processing of applications, and that she subsequently dealt with IRS representatives there. Do you really think lying about the imagined iniquities of a former president has any bearing on the gross incompetence of this one? Not hardly. Besides, give the dandy a little more time, he's stirring a pot that'll make Iraq look like a weekend at the beach.

Media Helping Obama Reinflate Housing Bubble
Subprime Scandal:

In an eerie bit of deja vu, the major media are suddenly gushing warm-&-fuzzy anecdotes of at-risk families who've found new "hope" in easy home-lending programs.

THIS IS HOW IT GETS STARTED positive spins about homeownership by pro-government newspapers only to turn later into disaster stories when the artificially created housing boom goes bust.

We know how this "affordable housing" fairy tale ends: Weak homebuyers walk away from their properties; & lenders get stuck with the bad debt, taxpayers with bailouts, & investors with massive losses.

How soon we forget the ECONOMIC DEVASTATION FROM WASHINGTON'S LAST GRAND SOCIAL EXPERIMENT. According to the Federal Reserve, the ensuing financial crisis from 2007-09 wiped out $14 TRILLION in U.S. household net worth — the greatest destruction of wealth in history.

Still, affordable-housing zealots argue too many low-income buyers, particularly MINORITIES, are being shut out of the housing market.

At a recent conference, the Urban Institute made the same reckless arguments for "flexible" lending to promote multicultural housing that it made before the crisis, while continuing to deny any responsibility for the millions of risky subprime loans that went bust.

During the debate over new mortgage rules, the institute lobbied against down-payment requirements, even though equity reduces the risk mortgage loans will default. It got its wish.

Borrowers don't have to meet minimum credit scores, either. They can even count welfare & child-support payments as qualifying income.

THE URBAN INSTITUTE'S GOAL, ONE SHARED BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, IS TO CLOSE THE "RACIAL WEALTH GAP." In a just-released study, it points out that black families lost 31% of their wealth between 2007 & 2010, compared with 11% for white families.

Predictably, the NY Times trumpeted the findings last week, claiming "discriminatory lending practices were a factor." As proof, it noted blacks took out a disproportionately high share of subprime mortgages, while neglecting to point out this same demographic tends to default on loans at a disproportionately high rate, regardless of the loan terms — prime, subprime; high cost, low cost; adjustable, fixed doesn't matter.

The point of the Times story was TO GUILT LENDERS into giving subprime borrowers a second chance.

Meanwhile, the LA Times is reporting how this is already happening in CA, a state still haunted by the subprime nightmare. Thanks to lenders "venturing back into (the) subprime market," the paper said, former homeowners with bankruptcies & foreclosures are seeing their "dream" restored.

In a "credit barren world," the Times said, high-priced loans for high-risk customers are better than no credit at all. The paper went on to praise the Obama administration for encouraging credit unions to make "responsible" loans that fall OUTSIDE UNDERWRITING "GUIDLINES FOR RESPONSIBLE MORTGAGE LENDING."

Last month, the Washington Post reported the FHA is wooing subprime borrowers with WEAK lending standards. & now President Obama wants to put in charge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac an affordable-housing activist-politician Democrat Rep. Mel Watt.

VIRTUALLY EVERYWHERE WE LOOK, WE SEE SIGNS OF A NEW & DANGEROUS INFATUATION WITH RISKY HOMEBUYERS.

It's a scandalous replay of history. Too many American homeowners most acutely minority families have already experienced the horrific impact of the government's previous crusade to gut lending standards to fuel a housing boom that went famously bust.

Let's not repeat the same tragic mistake. Rather, let's recognize the long-term benefit of prudent underwriting standards: greater assurance that a homeowner who buys a home, stays in a home.

"Bernanke: "There Is No Bubble"

It was only two weeks ago that Fed governor Jerremy Stein delivered a speech titled "Overheating in Credit Markets" in which he observed the obvious and warned that a new credit bubble was forming (not to mention housing, tech, student loan, GM channel stuffing and much more). And it was only yesterday that we learned that Bernanke, after a 6 year hiatus, just had his latest "everything is contained" moment.
Bernanke signals Fed stimulus to continue, warns budget cuts a risk

WASHINGTON — Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke strongly defended the U.S. central bank’s bond-buying stimulus before Congress on Tuesday, saying its benefits clearly exceed possible costs. The Fed chairman also urged lawmakers to avoid sharp spending cuts set to go into effect on Friday, which he warned could combine with earlier tax increases to create a “significant headwind” for the economic recovery." This is an amazing story in itself. I wonder who wrote the template for the survey. He is one teacher that is not a communist in Illinois. He was teaching the Constitution, and it wasn't in Chicago city proper.
